Musk grew up in Pretoria, South Africa, where his childhood was far from easy. He was known as a quiet and introverted child who loved books and computers. There were moments when he was borrowing money just to cover personal expenses while still trying to save both companies.
Those years were among the most stressful periods of his life. Musk worked relentlessly, often sleeping in the office and facing constant skepticism from investors and the public. But persistence eventually changed the outcome. SpaceX’s fourth rocket launch succeeded, and Tesla gradually gained support from the market.
