MEET THE ARTIST

(tf2 edition)

So I have seen this template going around and I thought it'd be fun to do it myself!! Since TF2 is my current hyper fixation, I have been absolutely FOCUSED on playing the game, especially trying to branch out what classes I play!! I also have been drawing my own tf2 ocs for years, but I realized I never actually drew the cannon mercs, so this was a bit of a test run to see if I could do some pfff This was so fun to work on!! Now I'm gonna boot up the game and play for the next 3-7 hours. HERES THE TEMPLATE:

BUT I did start it and I am already so happy with it and figured I would share a snippet of story regarding the characters from my previous post!

Been so darn busy with life stuff, but I did do some design commissions!

These designs were comm'd by the DM of a Starfinder game I participate in! Each sheet is the character throughout their life in different stages, and yes there is a LOT of lore behind it I wont get into--

I also decided to go ahead and draw one of these things for my own character in the ttrpg too! Her story is VERY interlinked with the two NPCs above, so it only felt natural to doodle her design!

How it FEELS to rewrite a character's story and take away his redemption arch.

All of the story presented here was based on a version of a TF2 story I wrote with a friend back in high school!

The story has changed DRAMATICALLY since then, and Hannes, the Medic with the mechanical arm, no longer gets a happy ending.

All the story beats presented have since been retconned!

I have been literally everywhere else mentally BUT I did some robot studies and doodles, and ended up making a fun little MVM robot oc!!

Not sure I'll draw them anymore, but they do have a ref!

~ INTRODUCTIONS ~

These are all the characters currently available for questions, as they are the ones currently relevant to the story I'm cookin' up! More characters may be added in the future :)

~ Claude ~

Claude is the BLU Spy, a quiet and kind man who cares deeply for his partner, Dickie. He's willing to move heaven and earth to ensure they wont get caught smooching behind their teams backs.

~ Dickie ~

Dickie is the RED Soldier, a loud proud, and very sweet being who's just a little bit of a meathead. He can be somewhat aggressive when it comes to his feelings, but he means well.

~ Gaston ~

Unfortunately for this RED Spy, he has caught these two mingling, and has been roped into their secret. Its unknown why he hasn't yet ratted them out, but so far he has just let them be.

I have been suffering from some MEAN artblock recently due to irl stressors BUT IM SLOWLY BEING SAVED BY FURRIES

So here, enjoy Jourdain (Red Spy oc) as a Fox, and Hannes (Blu Medic oc) as a wolf!! I may make full designs later, either of just them, or the whole lot of my ocs. We'll see!!

Sometimes you need to recapture cinematic movie moments with your own characters. I don't make the rules B)

For real, though, I had SO MUCH FUN drawing this, and it is actually an ide I have had for years now and only now thought I could acheive it at a level I wanted too!!

I'm pretty happy with it : ) (Also for Clarification, while he looks pretty close to canon sniper, the 2nd character is actually my friend @strangerinthecrypt 's Sniper character, Ryder) OFCOURSE WE GOT SOME WIPS + THE ORIGINAL!
