He could almost feel her happiness radiating, and it meant everything to her. “I wouldn’t complain” he whispered. Normally, he was a warm person, but it was because of what he was, he never really felt comfortable on the inside, but he was warm with her, she made everything feel warm. Feeling her hands on his neck gave him goosebumps. “Barbie dream house, thats.. adorable” smiling and softly brushing his lips against hers, capturing her in a deep kiss, breaking it quickly “but.. what about an easy bake oven? That would totally top this” he smirked and returned to the kiss. Keeping his arms wrapped comfortably around her body, he let himself be consumed by the magical feeling and the most beautiful girl in the world.

Tina laughed softly when he mentioned an easy bake oven. "Well now that you mention it..." She trailed off, a teasing smile playing on her lips as she wrapped her arms around his neck. "That just might be a little bit better," she grinned as she leaned in to gently pecked his lips. "I mean it's an easy bake oven. How could it not beat a Christmas spent with your boyfriend where he gave you some of the most amazing gifts in the world?" She shook her head at how ridiculous they were being but she wouldn't have it any other way. She loved moments like these where they could just joke around with each other about the stupidest things, it was one of the many things she loved about being with him.

Immediately feeling better about his decision on the ring, he smiled back at her “I guess that makes us both pretty lucky” he was happy about a lot of things, but mostly, that he had her. Ryder wrapped his arms around her back and held her closely, returning her kiss softly. Nothing could possibly break this moment he was sharing with her, all thoughts and ideas aside, he took in the blissful moment of happiness. Before he broke their kiss he tightened his grip and pulled her over onto his lap. Pressing his forehead against hers “Merry Christmas, love” he said in a whisper, giving her a subtle smirk and pecking her lips again. “You make me the most happiest man alive… but you already knew that” he finished. He saw the twinkle from the Christmas lights in her eyes, and fell more and more in love.

Tina smiled softly at his comment about both of them being lucky. It was true, they were both lucky in many ways and while they both had their own flaws, she didn't want to change a thing about anything that had happened in the past couple of months. "Merry Christmas, Ry," she whispered back as she snuggled comfortably against him when he positioned her on his lap.  She felt at peace when she was with him; he was her safety and she knew that as long as she was with him, she wouldn't get hurt. "And you make me the most happiest girl alive...but you also already knew that," she mirrored his words with a teasing grin. "Thank you for giving me the best Christmas ever," she said honestly, although the day was only halfway over, it was the truth. "It even beats the year I got a barbie dream house," she added jokingly as she gently scratched the back of his neck. "Can we just stay like this forever?" She asked, not wanting to move from her spot.

Returning her kiss he watched her face shortly afterwards as she was pulling out the box. Immediately getting nervous, he braced himself for the worse. She could be completely creeped out and think he was moving to fast, or she could be in love with it. Either way he was nervous of her reaction. He took in a deep breath and gave her a smile. “It..” he started as she pulled the ring out “I love you, and I know that you know this and i know that you believe me every time i say it. But when I am not around or you’re scared and you think you’re without love, you have that. You will.. always have that” he said quietly, biting his lip again “I just want you to have this promise of mine, that i will always.. always love you. That is something that I can’t ever revoke or take back. It’s nothing I say lightly either. You are.. my everything now.” saying with more confidence, because he himself believed every word he was saying. He reached up and took her hand, grabbing the ring from her and looking her softly in the eyes. “Tina, this is my promise.” he slipped it on her finger and placed his other hand on her face, cupping her cheek. “I hope you’re okay with that”

Tina looked up from the ring and listened as he started to speak. A couple of months ago, she would have thought that he was moving too fast, but now? It felt right. She loved him and she knew that he loved her, even more so now that she had a visual reminder of how much he did. It was nice to have that little promise from him. It was something that she never doubted for a second, but the act was still nice nonetheless. Bringing her hand up, she let him slip the ring on her finger and brought it up after he had done so. It was a perfect fit around her finger. Looking back up at Ryder, she smiled. "I'm more than okay with it," she told him before adding, "I love it and you. I don't know what I did to ever deserve someone like you in my life." Ryder wasn't like any of the guys she had encountered in her life. He was sweet and caring and she was thankful everyday that she had met him. "I'm a very lucky girl," she voiced her thoughts out loud with another smile. "I love you so much," she said as she put her arms around him and kissed his lips gently.

"I wouldn’t want to be anyone else’s" he smiled at her while watching her open the journal "I started working on it the day I met you, right after prom.You inspire me to be the best.. and I only want to give you my best" he rested his head on her shoulder and watched her flip through some of it. He grinned and nodded "I was going to love you forever no matter the gifts.. all perfect as well" he nuzzled his nose into her neck. Becoming quite shy he started whispering "One of your last gifts is in your pocket" he  let out a short breath being nervous "I love you" he reassured her before she opened his gift.

Tina smiled as he began explaining when he had started working on it as she flipped through the pages, looking all the different photos and writings that were in it. "Thank you," she said turning to look at him and leaned in to gently peck his lips before she started to look through it some more. At the mention of one of her last gifts being in her pocket, she looked up and gave him a confused look and reached into the pocket of her sweater, feeling something hard and small. "What?" She thought out loud as she took it out of the pocket and was immediately met with a jewelery box. It was small, small enough for it to be earrings maybe? There was a chance that it could be a ring too, which was mostly likely the case. Taking a deep breath, she quickly opened the box and came face to face with a gold ring that had the infinitely symbol on it. "Oh my gosh, It's so beautiful," she whispered as she carefully took the ring out and examined it.

"I am a cute dork!" he chuckled back and nudged her "I thought they were cute and well.. way too cute to pass up esentially" he smiled at her and kissed her nose. "Here" he said handing her the small bow wrapped journal with his photography and writing in it. "This one.. is a little dorky, but its one of those ‘I love you and I want you to always remember me’ kind of gifts" he motioned with his hands. He then snuck his hand over and grabbed the small box with the ring inside of it, and tucked it behind his back. He opened another one of her gifts and laughed when he opened the walking dead mug. "Oh my Goddddd!!!" he laughed, admiring its uniqueness "I love you, thats it, forever, I will love you forever" he shook his head and pressed a bunch of kisses to her cheek "This is perfect" He reached back and grabbed the ring and while she was not focusing on what he was doing, he slid it into her sweatshirt pocket while he wrapped his arm around her.

Tina laughed softly at the mention of him being a cute dork. "Well I can't argue with that," she said. "You're the cutest dork ever and I'm glad I'm able to call you mine," she added as she took the gift that he handed to her with a smile. Opening it, she gasped and brought the journal to her chest. "I always loved your writing and photography and now I have this to cherish forever," she beamed before adding, "it's absolutely perfect." She knew she was being redundant with saying the gifts were perfect, but honestly it was the truth. Each one of the gifts that she had already unwrapped were perfect and she couldn't put into words how much she loved them all. "Were you not going to love me forever before?" She teased him playfully, arching a brow as he continued to press kisses all over her cheek completely unaware at how sneaky he was being by distracting her.

He smiled when he saw that she loved her new teacup, that was one of his favorites. Ryder opened one of her gifts, the typewriter phone case, and immediately laughed. “It’s like you knew this has been on my amazon wish list for almost 4 months. I love it, babe” he smiled and took off his older phone case and snapped it right on. He handed her the boxes with the Mickey and Minnie sweaters, the tea set, and the makeup palette. “Just some side gifts that I figured would be adorable and cute, and well.. things just for you.” he leaned forward and pecked her nose. “You know.. I have to admit, this it probably one of the best Christmases I have ever had..” he said honestly.

Tina looked at the teacup again and smiled before gently putting it back inside the box and setting it aside. She could tell that it was going to be one of her most treasure items. Watching as Ryder opened his first Christmas present from her, she grinned at his reaction. “I came across it the other day and I knew I had to get it for you,” she answered him as he switched the cases on his phone. “I’m glad you love it, though,” she added. She had no doubts that he wasn’t going to love it, considering how passionate he was about writing. When he handed her some more presents, she immediately got to opening them wondering what else he had gotten for her. She smiled when she opened the sweaters and looked over at him. “His and Hers sweaters?” She giggled, playfully nudging his side. "You're such a dork, but I absolutely love them," she said snuggling one of the sweaters against her. She quickly unwrapped the other two presents. "These are perfect," she said looking at both the tea set and makeup palette. Tina couldn't help but smile when he admitted that it was one of the best Christmases he's ever had. "It's my favorite Christmas by far," she agreed as she rested her head against his shoulder for a moment.

Ryder walked into the kitchen, grabbing a cup and pouring her some coffee. He made it like she liked it, put a few sugars and some cream. Handing it to her, he shrugged and smiled “Someone tell me not to get them something.. is like begging me to get them something. and.. you’re my girlfriend why wouldn’t I?” he grinned and looked over his gifts again “These are all just things I knew that you would love.. really I bought you one.. really important thing, and then whenever I went online to shop I just saw some amazing things that were screaming your name, how could i not?” he leaned in kissing her forehead “I love making you smile, and I am hoping these make you very happy” Ryder did get her a lot, but he loved shopping for other people. His big gift was her ring, and even then he was nervous to give that to her. He made his way over to the big window in the kitchen and pulled the drapes so the house was only lit by lights. “C’mon.. I want you to open them” he smiled and started piling her gifts up in his hands to set by the tree. “I’ll put some christmas music on and we can do this the right way”

Tina took the cup of coffee from him with a smile, letting the heat warm up her hands. "You spoil me too much sometimes," she said shaking her head as she looked over at the gifts on top of the table again. She wasn't one for receiving presents, rather she enjoyed giving gifts to other people instead. "I'm sure they will," she reassured him when he said he hoped whatever he got her made her happy. "You always know the right things to say or do to make me happy," she said honestly as she watched him walk over to the window and pull the drapes. Taking a sip of her coffee, she walked over to where he was standing. "Okay if we're doing this the right way, then you have to do it with me," she said putting her cup down on the table before walking over to where she had left the presents she brought with her and set them down by the tree. "They're not as many as yours, but I hope you like them," she smiled as she took a seat on the floor and crossed her legs, grabbing one of the presents that was closest to her. Unwrapping the present, she smiled when she saw it was Chip the Teacup. "Oh my gosh, this is so adorable," she gushed over the cup from one of her favorite Disney movies.

Ryder opened the few presents from his father. A new sweater, a pair of shoes, and a nice new pea coat. He placed the presents on the couch in the living room, and sat on the chair, turning on the TV to a Christmas movie. He had looked at the text that Tina sent him it made him smile and he sat his phone down and simply just waited for her to come over. Her gifts were wrapped and all on the table in the kitchen for her. He wrapped them the night before, he really had nothing else to do on Christmas Eve. He closed his eyes for a minute before he heard a knock on the door. Pushing himself off the chair, he set his coffee down and went to open it. He smiled when he saw the beautiful sight in front of him “Hi darling, Merry Christmas” he leaned forward pressing a firm kiss on her lips. He wrapped his arm around her waist pulling her inside the house gently. He closed the door and locked it up behind him. The tree was glowing bright along with all of his Christmas lights, and he was pretty proud of them. “I assumed you had breakfast already, but if you don’t have plans for dinner, I have a few reservations around just in case” He said, helping her with her coat. Walking over to the table he showed her the wrapped presents “but before all that, I have some gifts I need to give you.” Which was his absolute most favorite part of Christmas day, giving his presents.

Tina smiled into the kiss as she allowed him to pull her inside. "Merry Christmas," she told him after she had pulled away from his embrace. Sidestepping away from him for a moment, she gently set the presents that she had brought with her down on a nearby table before she moved back over to him. "I don't have any plans, so I'm all yours for the rest of the day," she grinned as she took off her coat and boots, and then hung up her coat on the coat hanger. She knew that Ryder was going to be alone on Christmas day, so she had made sure to clear her plans so she would be able to spend time with him. Following him over to where he stood by the table, she shook her head when she saw the presents. "I told you I didn't want anything, Ry," she said even though she had quite a few presents with his name on them.

Christmas was a time of the year that wasn’t entirely too exciting for Ryder. He enjoyed the look of Christmas lights, they were so beautiful to him, so like every year, he decorated them all over the house. Ryder woke up on Christmas morning to an empty home, he made himself a cup of coffee, and looked out the window in the kitchen while he was stirring in his sugar. There was a fresh blanket of snow on the ground, and he was happy that, for once, there was nothing threatening nearby. Wearing his red flannel PJ bottoms, he walked to the front door and saw a few packages that must have been dropped by overnight. “Dad” he scoffed and shook his head, he brought them in and put them on the table. Sometimes he missed the presents his mom would give him, but he knew that his father was trying. He took his phone out and texted Tina “Happy Christmas, darling, have fun opening your gifts, and whenever you want to, you are welcome over. I love you.”

Tina had been up for a while now, thanks to her brothers who were eager to see what Christmas presents they had gotten this year. She didn't mind it, though. She loved seeing her faces light up seeing the new toys and gadgets they were now able to add to their collection. Of course, she also loved just being able to spend time with family and be thankful for one another. After all, that's what the holidays were all about. She had gotten quite a few presents herself, the most notable one being a camera she had been eyeing for the past couple of months along with a few gadgets to go with it. As she fiddled with her new camera, her phone buzzed on the floor next to her signaling that she had a new message. She quickly swiped her phone to unlock it, smiling when she saw the name on the screen. "Merry Christmas, Ry. I'll see you in a couple of hours, I love you too," she typed back before setting her phone back down on the floor. She had spent a couple of more hours with her family before she decided to set off to La Push. With Ryder's presents in hand, she got into her car and quickly made her way towards the reservation anxious to given him his gifts. Once she had pulled into his driveway, she turned off her engine and grabbed the items next to her before closing the car door and walking up the steps. She softly knocked on the door a couple of times and then took a couple of steps back as she waited for Ryder to answer.

Ryder yawned a little, realizing they had pulled an all nighter, and smiled down at her “You don’t even have to thank me, it was an absolute pleasure, and I was happy to do it” he placed his hand on the side of her face and stroked her cheek softly with his thumb. He felt chills, which was.. something he never felt, due to his body temperature. He was happy, so happy, and so amazed with the fact that he found his happiness. He was searching for someone he could live with, and he found someone that he couldn’t live without. He slightly tightened his grip around her and kissed the top of her head, with his eyes focused on the widening horizon, the sun was making its way and he was in love.

Tina felt a small shiver go up her spine as he softly caressed her cheek. She  gave him a little half-smile before she returned her attention back towards the beautiful view that was in front of them. She always hoped that one day she would find that special someone and watch the sunrise with them; she never imagined that it would feel as magical as the way it had felt now. She sighed contentedly when he tightened his grip around her. Tina didn't want for this moment to end, but of course it was going to have to end eventually, especially since they had basically pulled an all nighter and exhaustion was starting to creep its way towards her. As if on cue, she yawned softly before leaning back against his chest, relishing in the comfort that she had felt being in his arms.

 The ride up was comfortable for Ryder, he pulled her into an embrace, so she would be warmed up by the time they reached the top. The doors opened and as soon as they did, he could look out and tell that the sun was about to come out in the next minute or two. They were the only ones on the platform this early. He grinned and guided her directly towards where it was rise, and slid his hands around her from behind, resting his head in the crook on her neck, eyes fixed on the view. Ryder would run through the woods sometimes and watch the sunrise and set over Mount Rainier, he just thought it was magical no matter where he went to watch it. But.. the most magical place he had ever been to watch the sun rise, was right here with her.

Tina smiled softly as he held her from behind. Gently placing her hands on his which were resting around her waist, she turned her attention back towards the view and watched in awe as the sun began to rise. She hadn't had the liberty to see a sunrise from a place as special as this one, so this particular moment meant a great deal to her. It was extra special since she was experiencing it with him. "Wow," she breathed as the sun continued to rise. It was absolutely breath taking and for a moment, she wished that she had her camera with her to capture this beautiful moment. And then just as fast as it had started, it was over. She slowly turned around in his arms and softly kissed his cheek. "Thank you," she told him before giving him a smile. "That was amazing."

"I ask myself the same thing" he whispered, because he really did feel lucky. He leaned in and gave her a very soft kiss, and let his lips linger for a few moments, and pecked them softly again. He pulled back reluctantly and gave her a smile "Lets go, we shouldn’t miss this" he stroked her cheek with his thumb and squeezed her hand, before letting it go. Unbuckling his seatbelt and opening his door, he quickly moved around to her door and opened it for her, grabbing her hand again and closing the door as she got out. He felt the cold air immediately and he could feel his body adjusting to it. Wrapping his arm around her shoulders to ensure she was warm, they made their way towards the needle and after he paid, into the elevator, a long way up.

Tina unbuckled her seatbelt and quickly got out of the car once he had opened her door for her. Walking with him towards the needle, she ran her hands up and down her upper arms in an attempt to get warm. Now that it was fall, the temperatures were getting colder and tonight was no exception. She smiled thankfully at Ryder when he put his arm around her shoulders, instantly feeling his warmth envelop her. "You're like a heater," she mumbled as she snuggled closer to him and stepped onto the elevator. As they made their way towards the top, she looked out the window recalling the times when she and her family used to come when she was younger. She had been so scared to look down thinking they would fall out, even though they had been safely inside the elevator. Now she laughed off those fears and watched the breath taking view from underneath them.

He felt his cheeks warm and he shyly looked down, the back up at her. He had to take a moment, collecting his thoughts after she scrambled them. “You absolutely take my breath away..” he whispered very quietly. “I’m at my best when I am with you.” he brought his other hand up to rest on her hand that was placed on his cheek “I love you. So much, more and more every day. Nothing can compare, ever. I read stories about love, and they all have made me feel.. different things, but.. this feeling, its unlike anything I’ve read. Its indescribable and peaceful. ” he spoke, looking in her eyes, with honest words. “I know I say it.. more than I probably should, but I love you.. I adore you, everything about you. And I wouldn’t want it to ever ever change” he gave her hand a squeeze and gave her a soft grin, before finishing “Nothing, would ever be worth as much as every moment i spend with you, and.. I could never trade it.”

Tina smiled as he spoke, his beautiful and genuine words that basically echoed how she felt about him warmed her heart. Not that it was of any surprise, he had always had a way with words and they had taken her breath away every time. This particular moment had been no exception. "I love you so much," she said when he was done talking. Of course, she didn't need to tell him; he knew just how much she loved him, but that didn't mean she didn't love telling him over and over because she did. "How did I get so lucky?" She asked shifting her position in her seat so she could look at him. It was strange how things had changed in the past couple of months. Before she met him, she had been so shy and timid but now he had taken her out of her shell. She never imagined that she would find someone who meant this much to her, not to mention someone who felt the same way about her the way she did about him. It was such an amazing feeling to be in love.

Ryder pulled up to the needle and parked on the side of the road. The sky was getting a little lighter, and he turned over to look at her. He had some time to kill “No problem” he smiled and rested his other hand on theirs. He leaned in and pressed a kiss softly on her lips, sighing into it and smiling. “Have i ever told you just how wonderful I think you are?” he asked gazed at her “I absolutely adore you” he grinned thoughtfully and rubbed the back of her hand with his thumb. He really did love Tina, and there was nothing that he truly loved more than the fact that she loved him back. That meant the world to him.

Tina smiled into the kiss, feeling a sense of complete contentedness wash over her. She leaned back against the seat, her hand still linked with his and looked over at him. She smiled again when he spoke. "You've might have told me once or twice before," she said before adding, "but I do like hearing it every once in a while," she grinned over at him. "I could say the same thing about you, though. You're amazing," she told him, bringing her free hand over and gently cupping his cheek. "Absolutely amazing," she whispered gently caressing his cheek. She was thankful to have him in her life and honestly couldn't imagine what it would be like without him anymore.
