After receiving a private message from Echoes’ manager, Tina got a bit nervous. It was very unusual for her to be addressed without a group message involving the other girls, but it was clear that the meeting was urgent to the creation of Echoes’ album. Or at least that was how it sounded. At the time she was very unsure who she was even meeting with, but when Tina reached the recording area she was a bit relieved to see Hara sitting in the studio alone. It wasn’t that she disliked all the other writers and producers, but Hara always felt easier to be around. So, without any troubles at all Tina entered the studio with a light bow. “Unni-” Her breathe hitched a bit as she walked to sit in the empty chair before speaking again. “Did something I do not fit? I can always re-do it..” Even with the calm vibes Tina got around her elder, the tweaks in her voice were still obviously present as she clutched her hands between her thighs and twisted the chair back and forth.

↳ I DO! Did you ever look at your watch?
↳ I’ll remind you of your words. Just saved this…
↳ I’m already on my way. Don’t dare to let me wait long. GOT IT!!
Before even seeing the response, Tina was on her way out of the dorms. If anything, she was too punctual to ended up making someone wait, let alone not being the first one there. So by time she even had a moment to look at her phone again, Tina was already in the restaurant sitting at one of the table.
↳ Tcccch, you really think you were going to beat me?
↳Get those legs moving boy before my stomach eats itself!
There seemed to be less and less free time as preparations for Echoes’ debut grew. It was only natural, of course, for a new girl group coming from a company outside of the big three, but it left Tina a bit anxious. Even with the bits of free time, she had to spend most of her time in the dorm just to keep her levels equal. Which could only mean more time with her group/room mates, but that wasn’t a bad thing. In fact, she loved bonding with the girls more than anything else about her new life. So, with the given opportunity Tina sought out for one of their presence. “What chu watching?” Her voice was casual as she planted herself down onto the living room couch. Although the program was obvious, the beginning of the conversation to come had to start somewhere.
Time was starting to feel like it was crawling slowly forward but also going faster than rocket ship re-entering the earths atmosphere. The year was on it’s last month, and Echoes’ debut date was just around the corner. Of course, the group had been preparing since as far as they could remember, but everything started to feel more and more real once they were asked to go through a small year-end interview.
It was never revealed what the plan was for releasing the interviews between the members. They were barely even know to the public, but it wasn’t Tina’s job to question it. Maybe it was some tactic to give the girl’s practice with interviews, or maybe it would be correlated to their group introduction. All she could do was honestly believe that Echoes’ future fans would be listening to the interview and proceed as so.
Being pulled from her training activities, Echoes’ manager ushered Tina to the interview location. While her nerves were erratic, she kept herself calm with games on her phone until she entered the recording room. As she entered, Tina bowed multiple times when seeing the interviewer. A large smile planted on her face as the man smiled at her and gestured for her to sit. By then, he had already explained how the interview would would as well as a list of the questions so she would never misunderstand him.
“Are you ready then, Tina?” The man asked her before she nodded her head gently. Effortlessly, he seemed to introduce the audio segment, himself and Tina all in one breathe. It was admirable to say the least, and while he continued the beginning statements she sat quietly watching the script get slowly to her questions.
Well, Tina, welcome to the show! It has been quiet a year for music, hasn’t it? What has been your favorite? A certain comeback, group, or show?
“Thank you!” Tina didn’t have to think too long on the question, even before she came to the interview she had been humming the song silently to herself. “Uh, hahah, I definitely have a favorite song from this year. I can’t stop replaying Insomnia’s Back and Forth 30 mins, even just in my head it’s stuck on repeat.” She laughed a bit under her breathe as she spoke. The conversation went on for a bit before the next question arose.
Since you haven’t debuted yet, I’m sure you have been really busy lately with preparing. What was your favorite activity or project this year?
An audible noise escaped between her lips as she nodded at the assumption. Her smiling only growing a bit as she thought over the question thoroughly. “Honestly, I think my favorite thing was doing all the activities with my group members.” Tina’s head tilted as she looked down at the paper, giving another audible chuckle under her breathe. “Maybe that’s cliche to say, but I really do think all the activities this year were my favorite because everything I did with my group was a bonding experience.” The two discussed the sentiment further before talking a bit about Echoes’ debut. Once the talk of debut led to a dead end, because Tina knew just as much as everyone else.
So you mentioned your favorites this year, what about your dislikes?
Ahhh, the dreaded question. Tina shook her head a bit as she let out an uncomfortable sound which slowly turned into an awkward bit of laughter. The interviewer insisted for an answer, reassuring her it would be okay. “Alright, alright. I guess you could say I expected a little more from Crown.” The man pressed on but she refused to really say much more, only trying to clean up from the question. “I don’t really listen to them, but I have heard they have a good number of fans. Maybe they just aren’t my style.” After she spoke, the man moved on quickly, not really discussing her answers.
I know you haven’t debuted yet, but if you had the chance to debut in any other group or company, which would you do? Or would you create your own group and company?
Tina took a good minute with the question, having to think about all the new and old groups within the different companies. As she can to a conclusion, she jumped up from her seat a bit. “Ah, Juno! They have so many members, I mean I am fine with just 4 members but I bet it is ten times the fun and unique with so many girls!” Tina smiled brightly as she bounced on the seat with her words, only resulting to laughter when the interviewer laughed at her. The response moved nicely into the next question with the idea of the two rookie groups becoming friends.
Have you been watching Idol Project? Who do you want to win?
Her response for the question was almost exactly the same as the last as Tina’s head nodded like crazy. “Oh, oh! So right now, I’m stuck between wanting Destiny and Tomi to win. I like them both because I don’t know, Destiny has a unique style I really enjoy but Tomi has that natural sound and vibe to her voice. It’s getting really tough for me to watch anymore though, because I mean, not too long ago I was a trainee and that could have easily been me.” The conversation led easily to discussion of trainee years. Although Tina skipped over the fact that she used to train under Spotlight Productions, it was only implied that she trained before Alpha was formed when she mentioned being a trainee before hitting 12 years old.
Alright, so next we’re gonna do a speed round. I’ll list two things and you pick your favorite.
After she agreed, the interviewer set the timer and began counting down before throwing quick questions at her.

Once the game had finished, Tina let out a loud sigh that mix together a few more sets of chuckles. By time she had came to, the interview began asking her about her responses. When they finished up, the interviewer thanked Tina and wished her and Echoes’ luck on their debut.
The trainee life was almost the same every single day. But that didn’t mean it wasn’t fun at all. New chores within the acting lessons or some whole new dance choreographies. Vocal training and all those stuff you have to do when you can count yourself as a trainee. Here and there you go out for some snack or meal with your fellow trainees to keep yourself up-to-date.
Wearing his towel around his nape for a little pause. Jooheon took a big sip on his water-bottle as suddenly his mobile phone started to make some noise. With a small grin on his lips he threw away the towel and went to get his phone. “Ah! Tina Noona!” a brief chuckle escaped his mouth and he immediately wrote a message back to her.
↳ I’m always busy, why?
↳ Wait you telling me to buy you dinner even tho I am busy with practicing?
↳ How will you manage to buy me food in the future?
It didn’t take a great amount of time for her to hear back from the younger trainee, which probably added a bit to her excitement. Nothing too much, of course, because interactions with other always came a chore for her. Most of the time it didn’t matter if she enjoyed the other’s company.
Moving into her bedroom, Tina grabbed a few things to shove in her pockets as her free hand typed back a response. The attitude that was conveyed in the boy’s reply only came as sarcasm to her, but she could have been wrong.
↳ Haha, are you complaining about me asking for you to make time for me? Tsk, tsk.
↳ I’ll have more money in the future- I think, maybe.
↳ LISTEN, meet me at the noodle place down the street from the dorms. :*
Taekbin looked up from what he was doing, dark eyebrows raised as he quickly stepped back into his shoes, shoving the insoles down into their position. “I’m not SHORT.” He sniffed, crossing his arms over his chest. The dancer stood at 167 cm, but always listed 170 in his profile, especially when considering the heights of the other members of Gemini. “What are you even doing here anyway? This is Gemini’s dressing room?”
The boy’s response only made Tina chuckle more. Only a man insecure about his height would give such a defensive reply. But her enthusiasm depleted when he questioned her presence. Her eyes shot down with a hinted smirk forming on her lips. “Uh- Oh, yeah, sorry. I- I got lost. I’m just looking for Aura’s dressing room.” As she spoke, one of her arms lifted to rub against the back of her neck. Tina didn’t expect the other to help her in any way, but at the point she wasn’t quite sure what to do.
iseul’s brow quirked a little as he noticed the girl’s discomfort, but he didn’t put any thought towards it; it was probably because he called her out for her actions.
‘um… because i’m not like, a vampire or something?’ he responded with, the same amount of subtle sarcasm laced in his words. ‘is it uh… your first shoot or something? that why you’re so uptight?’
Uptight. That word repeated in her head for a second before she nodded gently. Her eyes still not managing to full look up at the male’s face. She was plenty aware of what he looked like from watching him during the shoot. “Well, not my first but it’s something still new to me.” A sigh with a hidden chuckle escaped her lips as her shoulders relaxed more. “It’s a job that should be left to people with a vampire’s beauty.”
after finishing one of the many fifteen minute intervals of photographs, iseul stepped off the scene with a loud sigh: one too loud that made a few of the staff look over at him. with a bright blush spreading across his already flushed face, iseul made his way quietly to the row of chairs that lined the wall. he didn’t give thought the girl who was already perched on her own chair; why would he? when she moved away however, clutching the blanket against her thin frame so tightly, he turned his head to look at her.
how rude.
‘i’m not gonna bite,’ he murmured, his voice reflecting his irritation by her lack of manners.
The stranger’s words made one of her eyes squint a bit. It wasn’t something she could completely explain without sounding crazy, but for her to feel so vulnerable with strangers that didn’t provoke her was rare. “It’s not that, I mean..” Tina’s lips twisted as she forced herself to sit back in her seat and relax. “How can I trust that you won’t bite?” A sarcastic tone hid under her words, however her grip didn’t ease on the blanket.
Ever since Tina had left Spotlight in her young trainee years, she had witnessed plenty of other groups debut. However, there was one group that had debuted during her time there and it was one of many reasons she left. Feeling that she should have deserved to be an added addition to the group Haze left it hard to be excited for her peers. Maybe it was quickly surfacing debut of her own group that made her reminisce on the past, but nonetheless she felt the need to make up for the lost time.
↳ Hey, long time no talk. I was just thinking about you, wanted to see how you’re doing?
↳I’ve seen you guys a lot on tv, you must be doing well, huh?
It wasn’t like Tina to misplace any of her things, especially something so important to her. So when she was unable to find her small container of wet wipes, a large wave of panic devoured any of her other thoughts. Although she was very aware she wasn’t alone in the back stage area, Tina didn’t think twice about acting hysterical. Basically tearing the room apart in heavy panting breathes before she finally noticed them sitting next to a stranger. “Excu-” Holding herself back from any curses, Tina grabbed the small box and bowed her head with a small expression of frustration lingering.
Since Tina was still considered a trainee, her life didn’t really change that much. Besides the obvious recording, photo shoots, set group practices, and preparing for debut stages; Tina still held the same status when it came to training. Not to mention she didn’t have to worry too much about being out in public, because no one even knew her face yet. But time seemed to be going pretty fast, so she knew she had to take advantage of it while she still could.
↳ You’re not busy are you?
↳Buy me dinner and I promise to give you plenty of food in the future.
