like it was so gross it felt like i’d grabbed a handful of damp sand after i touched it

omg so in the summer back when i was a teenager i used to go to a camp that was run by the provincial board of unions right, so we were all sorted into locals of abt 5-6 ppl, and 2 counsellors

and there was one white guy there, in my local, who had the grossest “dreadlocks” ever and at the end of the camp he was like “i’m going to cut off my dreadlocks for you guys” and cut off each dread one by one and gave one to each person in the local and the other ppl he’d made friends with..............

so i had to walk around with this ratty mouldy dreadlock that smelled awful bcuz i didn’t want him to see me throw it away or for him to see it in the trash and feel bad bcuz i could tell it meant a lot to him but it was so gross

i think i ended up throwing it in the long grass behind the girls dorm
