Hi guys, a well known Australian beauty blogger named Shani Grimmond has recently been outed as a white supremacist, racist and nazi supporter. On her snapchat, she posted a picture of a gigantic nazi flag hanging in her brother’s apartment and her and her friends dancing around it and laughing. A few moments later, she posted a follow-up snapchat saying ‘not my flag’, indicating that she knew the meaning of it and wanted to distance herself away from it.

After floods of comments on her instagram and youtube channel, word began to spread about what she had done and people started to get upset. She ignored these for as long as possible, and finally replied to some swearing and defending her actions. Finally, people became frustrated to the point that they began to contact her youtube sponsors and her manager. Promptly, her manager wrote out an apology and posted it to her instagram over a picture of her legs in a bikini - completely negating any sincerity and thought for what she had done and why it had offended people.

After this happened, more shocking behaviour was uncovered. Soon before, Shani and her brother Kallym had made nazi jokes on instagram and used the hashtag ’#nazisweg’. Shani had also encouraged Kallym to attack young fans who left undesirable comments on her social media accounts, the youngest being 11 years old. On snapchat, she made a short apology in which she laughed, smirked and claimed that people were ‘being so fucking stupid, its not even a big deal’. Several more incidents occurred, however I don’t have proof of them so I won’t mention them.

I have further proof on my laptop, however I don’t want to make this post too long. If anyone is interesting in the details they can message me directly and I will help them. Large companies such as Benefit Cosmetics, Makeup Geek and Bondi Sands have already distanced themselves from her and said that they will never have anything to do with her in the future.

Please spread this, sign the petition, and unfollow her from social media outlets if you were following. This is disgusting behaviour and we need to send a clear message that this is unacceptable in the beauty blogger community.

Her apology says she had no idea what the flag meant. I don’t understand how an 18 year old person living in Australia had absolutely no idea of the meaning behind this symbol or the flag. Despicable.
