I am extremely curious of just what I have done to wrong you” she wondered, her arms folding as she watched the other “I can’t say that I’m cowering at all, I was actually here to offer any assistance that the Heroes Union that it might require. Since these are incredibly hard times for everyone, I’m sure”

He remained silent. She made a valid point, her had nothing on her. Nothing solid but that would change even if he had dig and stick small piece together. He would amount enough evidence to damn her. “I’m suspicious of anything that comes form you.” He snapped. He clenched his fist but took a deep breath. Nothing would be more satisfying than lunching her into the sun but that was not his way. His wife, the union, the city and his country, no one questions his loyalties. “I am who I am.” 

“And that is entirely unfair” she pouted, before bringing her own cigarette to her lips, her eyebrow raising as he snapped at her “And here you always came across as the smiling poster boy for everyone to look up to. Not at all a reflection of your Trading Card are you?” she wondered, tilting her head at him. “Perhaps you are simply in need of a vacation, Cameron?”

However she smart and covered her track, there was no way he could pin anything on her. “Listen bitch, you might have everyone in this city followed but not me. And then I will single handily destroy everything you have, brick by brick, bolt by bolt. “ He hissed out. “Trash like you.”

“Under what grounds? I can assure that I have made everything is up to date with the IRS. I always do my taxes on time, I’m simple software mogul. Must you be so suspicious of advances in technology. I can understand your loyalty to the Livingston Labs, but give someones else a slice of the pie” she gasped in a sweet tone. “So foul tempered you are, it might make one question where your loyalties lie, you have rage like a villain” she hummed, giving a tongue pop.

If there was any chance of Cameron smiling, seeing Florence surely ruined. His lips pucker in disgust as if he were smelling soft eggs. “And what a displeasure to see you breathing. If you’re here then who’s warding off evil Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris?” He replied back. “The team is on and all will get done, no thanks to the generous help of you assets.” 

“Oh Cameron, must you be SO suspicious of me?” The woman chuckled, no one knowing that she was supplying weaponry and technology. It was her evil little secret that she got to indulge in “I’ve never given you any concern, have I? I’m merely a helping hand in this city, making it safer for everyone. Just like the Livingston Labs” she hummed. “Now what has gotten you so riled up?”

Cameron stood in his usual vantage point over looking the city. Careful eyes watched the busy life continue. He wondered what life was like to be a regular person but never once desired it. Cameron loved his life, he had the strength of a god, the ability to fly and he was married to a women who could male Venus herself jealous. He pulled out cigarette, knowing every well he shouldn’t be. After all he had been countless ads discouraging kids from smoking. He light the end and took a deep inhale. He was glad he was high enough no one could see him. He puffed out a large and glanced back when he noticed movement. “Yes?” He asked.

Florence had always been one to find herself in places she shouldn’t have been. She couldn’t help herself, she was waiting for everything to come crashing down “Mr Baron” Florence hummed “Such a pleasure it is to see you so calm among all the chaos, almost everyone else is losing their head over the bridge collapse” she mused, lighting up her own cigarette “I was merely curious to see if you were well”

Name: Florence Genevieve  Alias: -  Affiliation: Civilian / Shadow Society Role: Tech/ suit designer and maker Powers: N/A Florence has always been top of her class when it comes to Science, robots and tech in general. She had won many awards in her field and has made has name for herself in papers and research fields. She is a rich powerful CEO for a pharmaceutical company but is that all she does? Hell no. She in fact makes tech and suits for the Super-villains, because hey- everyone needs a hobby right? Or in reality some people just want to watch the world burn. Florence has never enjoyed society due to how corrupt the officals are that run the show, taking on board the true ideals of the Shadow Society she feels that a change in managmenet is needed and will happily create and supply for the inevitable war ahead. Besides she feels and knows in herself that she’s better than Livingston Labs, insistent that she as one person can do what a team of them can do in less time and with a much better quality. Florence leads a double life, pretending with her family that she is nothing more than a strong boss for a successful company she is seen as a sweet, caring but proud person. Just how she wants others to view her. After-all, when mutually assured destruction happens, she’ll rise up from the ashes and claim her rightful place.

Saffron looked over at the woman and nodded “Huh. Self journey.” She repeated thoughtfully. “I don’t know that I’d listen to theater critics much. If they’re anything like– well if I know anything about them they’re unreliable and speak on their opinions which don’t always match average. Or so I hear.” She said. She hadn’t listened much to critics at home but they were always so obsessed with certain things being in a good film. Particularly how soulmates were to be glorified and Saff had never agreed. Even after her own Soul Match was found she felt the way things were handled in media were misleading and critics helped. “Something like that. I suppose I don’t get out much or pay much attention.” She admitted awkwardly. “It’s complicated. I don’t mind waitresses. I just.. am one and I don’t see someone being interested in it from the experience.

“Then make the decision for yourself and see the show, find the meaning beyond the billboard” The woman said casually as if paying for a 200 plus dollar ticket was nothing for such a popular show, well to Florence it was just petty cash. “Most theater critics are set in their ways” she hummed as she exhaled smoke slowly. “Well, waitresses see more than most I imagine? They serve so many people they have a world of stories to tell, at least I imagine that’s the idea behind it, I have never been a waitress myself....So I have no experience in that sort of career” she mused, giving a small laugh.

A Beautiful Pie||Open Starter

Saffron walked the streets feeling like one in a million faces as she walked. She was exhausted having opened the diner this morning and chasing a lead the night before. She missed having all the time in the world. It was amazing how even with super strength she was still exhausted. She looked up seeing a billboard for a musical and had to laugh “Waitress”. She wondered if it was anything like her life. She sighed and sat down with a sandwich she’d gotten from work and took a bite watching the people as she sat. “They can’t honestly expect me to believe that anyone would pay to see an hour and a half to two hours of someone singing about serving food.” She insisted to no one in particular her eyes still glued to the billboard of a woman in an outfit a bit like hers holding a pie.

“Not the idea of the show” Florence said as she casually lit herself a cigarette and flicked her zip lighter shut “It’s about the womans self journey, not that I am a theatre critic exactly” she said simply as she blew out smoke “To not know about this Musical almost makes you sound like you’ve been living under a rock, kid” she smirked, her head tilting slightly “You almost sound bitter about the very notion, do you have something against the idea of waitresses?”

The idea of being so out in the spotlight, so looked up to and feared. It both scared Silvia, and made her nervous-exhilarated. She was never one for being out in the open, generally pretty keep to herself, but something deep in her seemed to yearn for it too. “It’s terrifying…. but…” 

“But thrilling, to have such strength....TO have such power over others that no one will ever be able to compare to” she coached in her beautifully raspy tone as she watched the other, feeling that she was beginning to win her little sister over.

Something about her sister’s words seemed to break through a little. She wouldn’t vocally admit it, but Florence was right. She was the host. She was in charge here. It depended on her. “I’m not lacking confidence” she murmurs quietly

“Then tell it just what to do” Florence said as she came closer “My darling, you really are going to be the new Titan of this world once I am done with it, you’ll be above everyone else, no longer looked down on, in the background” she said in a eerily soft tone. “A God.”

She laughed a bit. “No just the UK.” she said, “Maybe you just aren’t as important as you think you are.” She added and as she said it she knew it was a stupid idea. “Oh very nice. So you dig your hands in sometimes. Well done gold star.” She said it was a bit patronizing it was true and she really shouldn’t talk so much but she couldn’t help it. “Yeah hasn’t TIME basically been dead useless for ages now? Since it was sold off it really hasn’t had anything of importance. And who reads magazines anymore anyway?” She added scoffing. “No it doesn’t but it does have a certain link. Plus socially it’s frowned on. Though you can just buy your way out of that right?”

“Oooh, underneath all that idiocy have we found your sharp tongue and anger?” The woman laughed, shaking her head “Trust me, I wouldn’t make such an assumption if I were you” she warned in a much darker tone “It still holds more relevance than your small life every shall” she snipped back, the woman’s expression becoming that of a far more annoyed one. “I’d watch your tone with me, things can happen to people in this city who try and cross wires with me”

Nice building! Kinda thought it’d belong to a man.” She admitted because really how was that not overcompensating for something. But she supposed everyone had to now and again man or woman. “Well, the labs are sure. But you’re just a big brain sitting in a big chair letting other, smarter people do your work for ya aren’t you?” she pointed out with a shrug. “I mean I’m not really expecting anything cause, and I repeat again, you started the talking I just wanted to help you not feel crazy talking to air.” She pointed out really having too much fun with this.

“Just how new can you be? Or did you just climb out of the sewer, or better yet the strange religious bunker you’ve clearly been kept in?” she scoffed “Of course, why not sign your name to something you are proud of?” she snapped back at her. “Hardly, I’m extremely hands on, I have many doctorates in robotics and sciences, I always create the new products if I can, if you hadn’t been in your bunker you would know that and read TIME magazine more often” she said with her own shrug. “Speaking outloud to ones self does not define mental instability”
