Hi sweetie. I know you must be confused but I want you to stay calm. Don't worry about the restraints, those are for your own safety. We can't undo those just yet. Don't try to get up. Just relax and I'll explain everything.
Do you know where you are? No? That's okay. It's been a little while and I can see you're still a bit groggy from the medication. You're in our home. Well, my home now, technically. Never mind that. This is where you're going to be living now, but it's going to be a bit different than before. It's okay, just calm down and I will explain. Hey, if you're not going to be calm for me then you're going to have to go back to sleep and we can try this again tomorrow. That's better.
You've been staying in a psychiatric hospital. Do you remember what happened? That's okay sweetie, the medication is going to make it a little bit difficult. You had a mental health episode. You told me you wanted to leave me. You told me I was too controlling. I knew something was wrong, there was no way you'd say something so hurtful if you were feeling like yourself. So we had you checked in voluntarily. I mean, technically it was voluntary, at first. You weren't in much of a state to protest. After that, it wasn't that hard to convince the doctors that it wasn't safe for you to leave. I might have exaggerated a few things, but it was only because I was so worried about you. But it's okay, you're back where you belong now and we made sure you got exactly the treatment that you needed.
Okay sweetie, shh, I don't need you to talk right now. I just need you to listen. I have to tell you something very important. You've been declared legally incompetent. Do you understand what means? That's okay honey. Basically the courts have decided that you're not capable of looking after yourself anymore. Or your assets. I know that must sound really scary but it's okay because I'm going to take care of you. Now listen carefully. It's really important for you to understand that this isn't something you can undo, okay? I've been appointed your guardian so you're not even going to be able to request another assessment without my approval. And I just don't think I would want to put you through that stress. Do you understand?
Okay, calm down. Just relax. I don't want to have to put you back to sleep again. This is going to take some adjusting for both of us but it's going to be a lot easier for you if you don't try to fight it. You know I only want what's best for you. So I'm going to be taking care of your living arrangements and your finances. No, no, of course it's still your money. But from now on I'm going to be the one who decides what we spend it on. Doesn't that sound so much easier and simpler for you? You're not going to have to worry about anything anymore. All I need you to do is be a good boy for me.
Now, there are a few other, more practical matters we need to talk about. The nurses told me you started having some.. bed time accidents while you were staying in the hospital. It's okay, they told me it's not that unusual after an extended stay. Your treatment was very stressful. We're just going to have to manage your little problem. The nurses said they were putting a pad on your bed, but things are going to be a little bit different here. You're going to be wearing diapers from now on, okay? Aw sweetie, that wasn't really a question. I know it's embarrassing but you're going to get used to it. And once you do, you'll realize how much better this is for you. You're going to learn that things are better for you in this house when you do as you're told.
The other thing is, we're going to be changing your medication a little bit now that you're back home. It's just a few extra pills each day that are going to help you stay calm and make you a little bit easier for me to manage, but you might find that they make you feel a little foggy sometimes or a little bit weak. And they're going to make it hard to know when you need to use the bathroom. So to make things easier for you, we're going to be keeping you in those diapers all the time. Not just to bed, okay? I know you think you won't need them, but that's why I'm taking care of you now. Because you don't know what's best for you. But I do, okay?
So if I say that you're going to wear diapers from now on then that is what is going to happen. And if you're not going to cooperate, then we're going to put you in locking pants until you learn. Mhmm, that's right. I asked the nurses to let me take a few pairs when I picked you up from the hospital. You saw some of the other patients wearing those, didn't you? Did they look like they were very happy about wearing them? Is that what you want? The nurses said they usually only need them for the really disruptive patients. They didn't think you'd be a problem for me. But I know how stubborn you can be. We're going to work on that.
Okay sweetie, alright. I can see you're getting upset. Let's talk about something else. No, I can't give you your phone. Well it's really important that we don't let you get overstimulated, at least not while you're still settling in. Maybe in a few weeks, if you're a good boy, we can talk about giving you some time on the iPad as a little treat. I remember how much you liked your video games. Maybe we can find some nice games that won't be too violent or too challenging for you.
What do mean you need to speak to your boss? You're confused again sweetie. Do you mean your old boss? Well why would you need to speak to him? Oh honey, oh no, you don't have a job anymore. Well, I already spoke to him and explained that there was no way you could work with your condition. He was very understanding. He asked if he could visit but I know that would just make you more confused. I didn't think you'd want him to see you like this anyway. I know you feel fine you're fine but you're unwell. How can you tell me that you're fine when you're sitting there in a soaked diaper, throwing a tantrum? You didn't even realize that you wet yourself just now, while we were speaking, did you? I'm not trying to embarrass you honey, I'm trying to help you understand.
Hey, that's enough. I don't want any more talk about work or bosses. Don't worry, you're going to have plenty of activities to keep you busy around here while I'm out during the day. You're going to be my little helper. We're going to start you off with some nice, simple chores that won't be too complicated for you, like cleaning and laundry. I think it's going to be really good for you. You used to complain about how messy I was, but I know how much you loved tidying up and organizing things. You can think of it like your new job! Doesn't that sound good? I bet you're going to love it once you've gotten adjusted. And if you can't be trusted to do as you're told, you're going to be spending an awful lot of time in your room.
Yes honey, "your" room. Well of course you're not going to be sleeping in our old bed anymore. Do you think I want sleep next to a bed wetter? Do you think I want to share my bedroom with my housemaid? I've been trying to be gentle but you're really having a hard time understanding, aren't you? It's getting annoying, so I'll try to make this clear. You don't get to sleep in my bed. You don't get to see me naked. In fact, you're going to be allowed in my room at all except to clean and change the sheets. You wanted to break up with me, and now you're getting what you wanted and what you deserve. Oh and your new room is the old storage room - the one that locks from the outside, right underneath my bedroom. So when I'm fucking other men in the bed we used to share, you'll be able to hear everything as you lie there in a wet diaper, thinking about all the mistakes you made and how much you underestimated me. And you won't even be able to jerk off because that medication you're on that's keeping you incontinent is also going to make you completely, hopelessly impotent.
Oh dear, look at that, you're getting upset again. Was that a little bit too much for you to take in? Well, I think it's time for bed for you anyway. Now are you going to calm down for me, and we can get you changed before I put you back to sleep or are you going to be difficult? Think hard now, you don't want that diaper to leak during the night do you? I know you're used to waking up in a wet bed but you might want to consider how much time you're going to be spending in that bed over the next few weeks. Based on how you're acting right now, it might be a little while before we can take those restraints off. Mmm that's better. Look at you, learning so quickly. Alright, knees up…
If you could just argue back, she might have a scrap of respect for you. But she knows you never will. Because she's right. You deserve this.
You agreed to the rules when I agreed to put you back in babyhood.
I'm sorry if sitting in wet pampers and eating mush isn't everything you thought it would be but here is a reminder of a few of the rules... and you will follow them.
You are to remain diapered 24/7 everywhere. Panties are a grown up privilege.
You will use your diapers, they are your bathroom.
You will crawi at all times. No walking.
You may only use baby babble talk and you will accept me forcing you to suck your pacifier whenever I want your silence .
You will be fed in a highchair. All of your meals will be mushy and fed to you.
You sleep in a crib and you will be dressed in baby clothes at all times.
This agreement has a mandatory one year or 2000 diaper commitment whichever is greater. No backing out. And don’t be ungrateful. Look at this beautiful nursery I converted from your old gaming room.
Here look at all those nappies you are going to get through. Now do I need to remind you of the consequences of breaking a rule?
