IT...HAPPENED? TC'S...4TH CONVERSATION...??? HE'S SHOT AHEAD OF AA AND CT?????????????????????????????? LET'S GET INTO IT?????????????????????

Ok I'll chill now. Upd8 is only a page long but it is a LONG ass chat between Ly'lac and TC, which is very interesting considering they're best buds. The little Sherlock and Holmes bit is insanely freaking cute...here's how Bowlac can still win?? We then get some Freaky TC and a further TC/Del'fi comparison from Ly'lac...here's how Bowfi can still win??? So, not only did TC send Ly'lac a mechanical flower, finished up the Game for her, but he also made a whole ass song for her??? Ok??? Seeing Ly'ly and Bobo chat like this is very interesting cause like...they're both being very energetic to each other. TC's never quite been this amped up, and this is the most happy Ly'lac's been so far talking to someone else. It's cute. Really cute. Speaking of cute...TC HAS AN EMOTICON!!! ‘,:T

We learn that Vrissy hit up TC after TC sent his messages to Ly'lac allllll the way back at the start of Act 2. Which is interesting. The way TC talks about his chats with Vrissy imply that the common theory of "the omegas are in TC's huge ass house" isn't actually the case...also them parroting the "Yeah I knew that"...Bowlac is actually a gem i think this is crazy. Here's a huge ass drop revealed in an insanely casual manner. TC's guardian is...indeed, The Exemplar. What The Hell. Ly'lac also hints about her chat with the Narwhal...apparently, that wasn't their first time meeting each other...also, in the panel, Ly'lac seems to be riding on the Narwhal's horn. Huh. TC implies he's supposed to be playing Server player and then...passes out. This is highly concerning as Act 2 has constantly been having satyrs across the planet just randomly falling asleep...I fear for my sweet TC's life. And then it's awesome world again because TC learned from Dirk and has his own autoresponder...that's...actually way less smart than Hal was. Cause there likely isn't a whole ass clone in it. BOBOT (love that name oh my god) confirms that yes, TC fell asleep, and that some drone units are all on standby...? Interestingly enough it comes with a disclaimer outright stating it doesn't have a soul in it and that what it says shouldn't be taken as "conversation". Interesting difference between TC and Dirk... Anyways that's the upd8. Considering the music track drop that we didn't get to hear odds are the big Strife Flash for 8/01 (yes i still think that's happening) will use that as the music which is fun. I hope TC doesn't die. If TC dies I'll die.

Another Look at Swiss

i need that TC reveal more than god. i'm so sick of analyzing Swiss. make it stop. i wanna analyze TC more. goddamn it. whatever. anyways here we go

So let's lay out what I've gotten on Swiss from my previous analysis posts. 1. Swiss heavily ties his personal worth to his academic standings (today's Upd8 just has him outright admit this is the case) 2. Swiss thinks he is fundamentally a bad person, which is why he freaks out so bad about getting punished at all I don't remember the rest if there were any. Whatever. However, this upd8 lends further evidence towards Swiss sort of...being at odds with Satyrical society, funnily enough. We had little bits of this here and there, the way he treats his fellow classmates and him thinking bombing nymph spawning grounds "too extreme". But here we have him directly agonizing against the rules of this society he claims to love so much, particularly on Satanimals. Which like, I agree with him, that thing has to die, but it's...the way he's all "Oh I'd love to fucking kill this thing but I legally can't but the world would be so much better if they didn't exist even if the Exemplar likes them so much" is so fascinating. And don't think I missed the symbolism in this thing that, we could argue, represents what he dislikes about satyr society literally smashing through his dorm which he curated and designed to reflect what he likes most about satyr society. So his dorm is wrecked, he is going to totally kill that Satanimal cause we see the blood later, and like...it's literally already starting to come crashing down for Swiss. I've always predicted that Swiss would probably collapse in on himself once the game started, as the society he devoted himself to and had such big plans for will be pelted into ash by meteors, but the collapse may be coming a lot sooner than we all think. He'll kill it, and then REALLY freak the fuck out cause he just broke the law or whatever, and then he's going to have to play and it's...it's just going to be really really bad for Swiss. The fun Swiss days are over, I think. Unless you find Swiss being tortured like this fun which I imagine is like, 90% of people? I do also wanna comment on what I think is a big Swiss theme, which is Control. Having it and losing it. He tries to exercise as much control over anything he can. His friends, his classmates, his bees. And this upd8 is just kinda blowing all of that up. Swiss even loses control over himself upon seeing his poor dead bees. I think there's something classpect-y in here, but I'll leave it to more educated scholars on those matters. I'm trying to get out of the classpecting sauce but...I can't deny that it keeps trying to pull me back in and it's very tempting. Anyways. That's it. Let's hope next analysis will be TC. Or even AA...or CT...hell, I'll take Harry if I have to. I'm so tired. Bye bye.

7/12/26 Upd8

okay i'm not napping. evil evil FRS for ruining my nap time. let's do this.

We switch back to Swiss. Not surprising, very Homestuck to switch away suddenly on such a dramatic moment like Ly'lac meeting the Narwhal. It would seem the Academic Advisor has been brutally murdered. Insert something about "the blood prank again" and Blood classpecting. Once again we see Swiss tying value to his social standing and that without it he thinks he'd be nothing. Insert something about "Reconsider life" and Life classpecting. We get a cute little Swiss panel straight into Nightmare Beasts From Hellmurder Planet. Love how disgusted Jane is by it. I'll say it: I don't care for Senataur Winniefred Stickypaw. I don't care that it's Humanimals, especially considering it's a Satanimal. It resembles Authour a little bit, and the Exemplar apparently likes Satanimals, so I guess that's another point to ARquiusprite being the Exemplar for whatever reason. And given the Satanimal resemblance to Satyrs, obviously Satanimals are Dirk's failed ectobiological prototypes to the Satyrs, and obviously the awful Senataur here is the source of that red substance on Swiss' busts from that "YOU HATE SURPRISES" panel all the way back. Remember that? Good times. We leave Swiss as he begins his acrobatic fucking pirouette off the handle, and switch into Del'fi as he starts to hack and slash. And we get some Ly'lac conversation where she doesn't mention the Narwhal at all...sure, why the hell not. Ly'lac's orb has been fixed so she can send messages with it now, and she's gotten her little morphday Vriska drawing. Aww. It seems Ly'ly's had some chats with Vrissy more than we've seen (I'm kinda getting sick of conversations happening offscreen tbh) and has been clued in on the other Omegas also playing. We also get some TC/Ly'lac, TC/Del'fi, and Ly'lac/Del'fi crumbs here...shippers are eating good.

And the little gif was cute too. I have more to say on Swiss, taking this new evidence in with my previous analysis only strengthens all of it I feel, but I'm like, tired, and I want to take a nap, so I might go do that now. Or you'll see a Swiss analysis in like, 15 minutes or so...? Whatever. Pretty funny upd8. No TC reveal. It completely invalidated my Upd8 theory post from this morning so I'll never make something like that ever again.

Upd8 Theory

Alright this is gonna be a bit of a weird one for me, but just...just let me shoot my shit here. I have a little theory about what our next upd8 could entail...or more specifically, what the next big [S] will be about. So, I think we are going to get an upd8 this month, likely following up on where we left off with Ly'lac and the Narwhal, we'll see their conversation, and then Ly'lac will have to scurry back home to start playing SHURB. Now, with Act 2, we've been hitting quite a lot of old beats. Room introductions, captchalogue shenanigans, so on and so forth, Classic Homestuck Stuff. But there's one thing that I'd consider "classic Homestuck stuff" that we haven't gotten yet with any of the three Deltas we've met so far...Strife pages. And let's look at where we've left our 3 Deltas: Del'fi has a horde of crones advancing in on his location, Swiss has to go confront his Academic Advisor, and Ly'lac...uh, well, I don't think she's gonna fight the Narwhal...but you see where I'm getting all of this from with the other two. I think the next big [S] is going to be a multi-character Strife flash, combined with Ly'lac getting into the game. We're coming up on 8/01, which marks Act 2's 1-year anniversary, and certainly something big will happen for it...I hope. Going even further off this little theory, I think this could mark the end of an Act...though whether that's End of Act 2 or just...End of Act 2 Act 1...who knows. Probably the latter? And then A2A2 will give us the other three Deltas. This is my craaazy little theory...entirely real chance I'm wrong, the flash might come out 10/8 instead, who knows. But I think I'm definitely moving in the right direction with all of this...

6/29/26 UPD8

They *weren't* too scared to upd8 during Pride Month...yippie!

We start out with some baby nymphs...cute little orbs! Seemingly, this is not a flashback to the past but current (we see Ly'lac's tower, there are a bunch of meteors pelting the planet (cause of SHURB), and...a giant...unicorn horn...?) We now have a new [S] page. Ly'lac slowly descends with Meemaw, and we get some cute doodles resembling those from Rose riding that horse (there's even a direct reference with Ly'lac riding a TC horse...wow!!!)

Anyways, Ly'lac eventually gets so bored she falls asleep. While sleeping, we get this...flashback to the past, something regarding the history of the mysterious Uninymph, and seemingly a satyr friend they had? There's also a nymph hiding behind a column at one point who I wanna say is suspiciously AA-shaped...odds are highly likely that yes, these are ANCESTORS. We're getting Ancestor Lore in 2026. Wow. Anyways, they reach the bottom and Meemaw dies of a heart attack. This is awful, and FRS is evil, and cruel. And then Ly'lac eats her. What the hell. And then we have...THE NARWHAL. That thing from when Ly'lac was on Derse. And it wants...to speak...with Ly'lac. And that's really all there is to this upd8...lots to chew on but it's hard to decipher. I have some thoughts about which figure is which character's ancestor, but that'll come in a later post. Next upd8 will...likely be switching to another POV! I doubt we'll stay and actually get to hear what the NARWHAL has to say, at least for now. Probably new character...? Though, in the newspost, Miles says they're working on yet another big flash so...hm. Who knows. I'll keep thinking and theorizing, for now...
