"Why, why, why did I say she could come here?" Thankfully alone in the bedroom, Imogen was racing around to tidy everything up, not only picking up her own clothes but also Auden’s and Viktor’s, tossing everything into respective wardrobes. The muttering to herself wasn’t something she did often, but luckily she had nobody to overhear and question her sanity. She was moments away from having shaky hands when a knock on the door echoed around her. Words stuck in her throat as she heard Tinsley’s voice. Before she had a chance to attempt some sort of response, the door opened and Tinsley slipped in. “Hi.” Imogen gave an awkward wave before holding her arm behind her back. She snatched her bag from where it sat on her bed and walked towards the brunette.
"You ready to go?" Nerves flooded through the girl, even if she wasn’t completely understanding as to why. She liked Tinsley, and found herself often wanting to spend more time with her, but Imogen had friends in the house and she didn’t worry about what they would think about her clothes. At least, not to the extent she did with Tinsley. Maybe she just wanted to be her friend so much that she wanted to impress her. It seemed to be a feasible explanation. Leading the way out of her room, Imogen made sure Tinsley didn’t get too long to notice the bits and pieces that Imogen had missed in her tidy up before closing the door behind the both of them.
Walking down the stairs, Imogen noticed a few different people she had befriended in the house, and was happy to smile and wave at them, feeling pleased with herself for being sociable enough in their stay so far. Not too bad. “So, where is this aquarium?” She queried, glancing over at Tinsley. “Walking distance, will we need to get a cab? And how much will it cost?” Realising what she was saying, Imogen blushed. “Sorry, lots of questions.”
"Hey there," Tinsley greeted as soon as she heard the other girl's greeting and saw her wave, a warm smile spreading across the brunette girl's face as she mostly ignored her surroundings to focus all of her attention on the girl standing across from her. She gave a nod in reply to Imogen's question, but wasn't able to expand more on the matter, as she was being led out of the room quickly by an eager looking Imogen. "Excited?" she asked, amusement colouring her tone slightly as they made their way through the hall and then down the stairs, and towards the main entrance of the house. She made a point to smile and greet their housemates as they passed them, a warm feeling settling in the pit of her stomach when she noticed Imogen greeting them as well, feeling oddly proud that Imogen was finding her way and making friends, or at least friendly acquaintances.
When they reached the main floor, Tinsley hummed in acknowledgement of Imogen's questions, pursing her lips in thought as they made their way closer to the front door. "That's okay, I don't mind," she reassured, giving a quick comforting nod and smile before continuing. "And, well, it's not exactly walking distance, so we should definitely take a cab on the way there. But it's not too incredibly far either, so maybe we can walk the way back? It could be fun," she offered, as she opened the door for the blonde girl so she could step outside first. As she closed the door behind her, she grabbed her phone and opened up her taxi app, calling up a taxi to pick them up. "And it shouldn't be too much, but I've got it, don't worry. I just called on one to come, so they should be here soon," she said when she looked back up from her phone, giving the other girl a reassuring smile. "I'm really glad we're doing this. I've been wanting to spend more time with you," Tinsley admitted, reaching out to brush Imogen's arm with her fingertips before dropping it back down to her side.
