i'll spoil you — parris & danny
Parris, collectively, was extremely nervous, now that he stood in Danny’s room and really began to put his plan into action. He hadn’t believed he would get this far, for some reason, and now he felt kind of idiotic, letting himself fall under the impression that the other boy didn’t want his company. It was the polar opposite, it seemed, when Danny greeted him brightly with a grin that told him just how glad he was to see him, a smile that Parris wanted to be responsible for every time it lit up Danny’s expression. He took a couple of steps forward as the other male climbed off the bed and stood to face him, “Yeah, um. I hope that’s alright, yeah? And no, I wouldn’t call it a kidnapping. Not if you’re going willingly, of course.” He teased, and his eyes twinkled with mischief, something he knew Danny would pick up on and be unable to resist. There was something that had always intrigued Parris about Danny, and that was his tendency to get into trouble and make things that much more interesting for himself. The whole point of his trip to Barcelona was to make new experiences, sure, but he only really wanted to take part in all of the crazy things this city had to offer if Danny was right there with him.
"I just need you to trust me, okay? I promise that nothing ill will come of this situation. Cross my heart." He dragged his finger in a small "x" right over his heart, before closing the distance between them. He was a nervous wreck, for some reason, and he had no idea why, but he knew that Danny would be up for just about anything if it meant that they would be spending time together. “Close your eyes for me.” Parris instructed, waiting for Danny to obey, and once he did, he placed the blindfold over the boy’s eyes. Making sure the he couldn’t see (read: he did wave his hand ridiculously in front of his eyes), Parris grabbed his hand and led him out into the hallway. “Don’t worry, I’ll make sure that you don’t run anything.” He promised, a small laugh leaving him as he guided them towards the grotto.
Danny could tell that there was something waiting for him on the other side of this not-kidnapping-because-he-was-going-willingly, and while he would be up to spending time with Danny without any surprises or blindfolds, it had his heart beating faster in suspense and his eagerness to comply rising. He was always up for anything, and he was sure that everyone in the house knew that about him by then, especially his sister, Parris, and Ace, the latter two of which had just learned recently and still put up with him. They were saints, really, without being saints at all. Except for Parris, maybe, because he was quite saint-like, but more because of how unrealistically gorgeous and annoyingly perfect he was. Danny would find a flaw in him one day, but he wasn't sure when that day would be.
Rolling his eyes in an exaggerated way that made the point across that it was in a teasing manner at the quite literal crossing of his heart, Danny couldn't seem to wipe the grin off of his lips as he responded. "Alright, alright. I'll lock you in the theater room if you're lying to me, though." It wasn't but moments later that he only broke eye contact with Parris to close his eyes as he was told to, nose crinkled in mild distaste at his vision being cut off. His hand gripped Parris' tightly whenever he took it into his own, his other hand moving to hold onto his forearm for a steadier balance since he couldn't see. "Good. I don't wanna have a bruise the size of Australia on my forehead 'cause you made me run into a wall or something. I'm precious cargo, you know," he teased.
