Today I drew an Ewe, and yes, I have looked into it and they can definetly have horns. Apparantly it's more to do with breed than gender- who knew? Anyway, the actual design of it was based on a few of the reference images I used but the colours were just "forest" colours. I went for a few mossy greens and from there I just messed around with varients of lighter and darker. I wanted to design it as a bit more of a... God? I don't know really. More like a local God, if that makes any sense. Just a being in a certain area that wields power. I think it worked quite well, it looks quite magestic and it's definetly an image I'll be coming back to when I have a bit more experience on back grounds. I'd love to add in the background of a thick forest around this without ruining what I have so far. All in good time, buds. Want to see more? I spent a grand total of 47 minutes on this doodle- Drawing? I don't know. I quite like it to be honest, even if it is out of season. A cross between a Harvest Moon Sprite and Buddy the Elf. I think I've played about 100 minutes of Dota 2 in my life. To be honest I had a lot of fun playing for that time, but... I wouldn't really call it the type of game I greatly enjoy. RTS games are fun and all, would you call Dota 2 an RTS? I don't know. Anyway, I spent just over 2 hours drawing this picture of a hero I didn't even play! See I thought a friend of mine said that Earth spirit was his favourite hero... Turns out it was Ember Spirit... Oops.

Well I decided to go back a few years into my late teens- I used to watch a lot of anime and one of my favourites was- you guessed it- Naruto! So here we have the well known Team Seven, as effigies.

So I did the original version of this image a few days ago and I wasn't too fond of the final result. I decided to go back and completely recolour the image- I think it looks a lot better now, and I also decided to remove the smallest of the eels and redo the background too. Hopefully most would agree that it is an improvement!

For an image that took well over 2 hours, I honestly don’t know how I feel about it… I wanted to avoid the obvious “electric eel” when I was drawing eels, so I went for the other elements? The results are above and… honestly I find it lacking.

About 50 minutes of drawing crushed down to 6 or 7 minutes of viewing. I quite like how this image turned out in the end! Especially the arms, I did try and give them a bit of an ethereal apperance- whether or not it came through in the end is up for debate... maybe if I had reduced the opacity it could have been a little better- but either way I'm pleased.
