Captain x Siren

Been redrawing and redesigning lots of old art and concepts from when I was in middle school and high school

Dylan is a semi-ghost captain ( has a ghost ship with all his crew being ghosts) and Phineas is a Siren. They first met when Phin tried to eat him lol. Ended up redesigning them older since I already got another mermaid au of them as kids and by this concept, it just makes more sense

When did you first come up with Dylan and your ship?

Dylan came first!

He was fisrt designed around 2016 while I was rewatching the show and then later cause of MML. So yeah, he's actually an old oc. (I just didn't post my art online at the time cause insecurity😅)

He wasn't even supposed to be shipped with anyone and in his first concept he wasn't even a Doofenshmirtz! Dylan was supposed to be one of PnF neighbors, a boy that didn't show emotions and had a poker face all the time. He was an acquaintances of the Flynn-Fletcher sibs, but never labeled them as more than that even though the boys would consider him a friend. The other kids would sometimes think they were rivals.

He got redesigned over the time to fit the show better.

As for Phinylan, it actually just started as a fun thing with my friends at school. We were looking at old ocs of ours and making/trying to figure out fun ships. One of them suggested Phineas x Dylan cause of how they looked like total opposites of each other. So, it began like that!

Then when I first posted about them online for funsies, people started liking it and little by little, it started to become one of my favorites ships cause of the love everyone showed me!!!

That's why Phinylan now my comfort ship. Because I didn't already love the ship and purposely created to be popular, but because it was because others really loved the ship and wanted more and with the process of working on it, made me love them (*´꒳`*) 💖💕
