is it possible to be sexy if you're merely cute or not conventionally attractive? I feel like a fraud or like it's a trick if I'm approached for sex by a partner. and yet. I have the most securely active mind of all my friends ( and my partner!) tl; dr: I am smoking hot but only on paper/ screen.
From a man's perspective:
Boy do women overthink the differences between descriptors like cute and sexy and hot and wow. Whatever your lexicon? You will notice that most sexual terms are one syllable, sometimes two.
Some of the most attractive women in my life were women that were not considered conventionally attractive. They had ink for skin, so many tattoos, like you only see in 'freak shows' on TV and movies.
I so desperately wanted to chase down a girl with a "Go Metric" bumper sticker. She only had two on her car, and the other wasn't a standard opinion either. And that's all I knew of her besides a rim of glasses and a generic haircut, passing by.
I'm not conventionally attractive. I know, girls teased me all my childhood about it. I can't even remember all the times they laughed at me and told me how ugly I was. The myriad of ways they did.
Those scars stink. But they only define you if you decide they do.
I am so many women's lost opportunity. I am the one who got away to, I think, at least a dozen women. All without ever finding my place.
Would you take my attractiveness away from me? Because it is not standard issue?
