Hi! I just wanted to say that I’m a really big fan of your work and when I realized that you deleted your account I got sorta worried for you. But I’m glad I found you on tumblr and that you’re okay. Sending hope towards your way <3

Thank you so much for this! <3 I hated deleting my account so much, and I really hope to be back. Right now I am just having to do what feels the safest for the area that I live in, and things are unfortunately not great here now but I have hope they will get better.

This is definitely a little bit of a vent post, and one I did not want to make but I also did not want to just go completely ghost either. I'll try to keep it brief, but we all know how the election went and unfortunately things are not too good in my neck of the woods. I live in a very conservative area, but it is already leaning into puritan now. There are talks of banning certain media, books, shows, sites, you name it and it's on the table for here, and prosecuting people who do not follow the bans. I'm not even sure my partner and I will be able to be married now if certain people get their wish.

Due to all this, I am very much limiting my online presence. This fandom has been the greatest one I have ever been apart of and I am going to miss it so much. Hopefully this is a situation that will get better and we can all go back to normal soon. I appreciate every one of you and will miss this space full of so many talented people, you all are amazing. <3
