Well, I don’t think I’d much enjoy putting particularly unpleasant tasting or abrasively-textured food in my mouth, let alone individuals with such qualities.

But while the savoury tastes of meals are a crucial part of the dining experience, I don’t find it unusual to be slightly more concerned with said meals’ capacity for physical satiation. It’s both a biological necessity and a personal indulgence, after all.
