Today I really wanted to make myself throw up. I tried countless times but i just couldn't bring myself to do it. I guess I was scared of what would happen or what people would think if they found out.. I don't know what to do I feel so guilty about it, but I keep thinking about doing it.
there is obviously something in your life that is extremely bugging your right? something that is making you struggle through everyday. is it a person? or an appearance issue? or a mood? or something else? what you need to do is try and get that issue out of your life, walk away from that person when somethings bad or if you're not comfortable in yourself try to make yourself comfortable, i.e. buy a new top. but do not resort to punishing yourself, no one deserve to throw up their own intake. feeling guilty for it, is the bodies way of telling you to stop and not do it. listen to your body, if you feel great about something, do it often. i recommend exercise, because it releases endorphins which actually cause you to harm yourself, if you go for a jog, you will feel better about yourself. just try it, - tips4teens xx
sometimes i feel as if no one gets me.
im sure that everybody at some point feels like this. my advice is to do something more, try and set out your ways of life i.e. what you like, how you do things. the first step to fitting in with others is to get yourself. know who you are and then you won't have any fear of showing who you are and no worry at all, i hope it goes alright for you. remember we're always here. - tips4teens xx
shall we make a tips page, for like makeup & good places to shop and all? any ideas? you can join the advice blog!!

thank you and sure! xo
ok well i have been having a constant problem. i think i'm fat and when i look at my stomach i feel disgusting. but the thing is i know im skinny and some people actually wish for my body, but i always think that im not skinny enough. i have been going on and off trying to starve myself. i know its a terrible thing to do and i dont want to do it. when it starts happening again i talk myself out of it but the thoughts just keep coming to me to starve myself coz im not good enough nor skinny enoug
what i want you to do is weigh yourself. the shape of your body doesn't matter as long as you know you're healthy. weigh yourself and measure your height. go online and type in this link http://www.nhlbisupport.com/bmi/bmi-m.htm enter your height and weight. select which catergory you are in. if you're underweight change your lifestyle to eating proper healthy meals, if you're healthy! you're fine just remember to eat properly, if you're overweight well then you know that what you're doing to lose weight is wrong. starving yourself is no way to lose weight. the best way is to go on a healthy diet, that means eating all your foods in proportion, and eating only 5 small meals a day! and drinking lots of water. save treats for only at least once a week and make sure you exercise for at least one hour a day. and with all this in mind! remember society is what can kill you, you're beautiful inside and out, no matter who you are. even if we haven't met you before. throughout life you are meant to experience who you are, and what your purpose if for being on this earth. take everyday as if it is your last! it is good to have concern for your image, but you have to experience new things in your life, find out what you like best! stay strong - tips4teens xx

i've been going out with a guy for nearly 3 months, when he asked me out, we hardley knew eachother, but he had decided that he liked me, i thought i liked him to, but i've dicsovered it was only a crush, he asks mee to do things all the time, and a normal bf & gf would do, i just don't want to, so i always turn him down. and i need to dump him, and just found out from my best friend, he want's to dump me also, pleasse help me
well leave this up to him, if you know its not right and you've heard around that he doesn't like this relationship either let it be. it shouldn't cause any pain as you have only realised that you don't like him as a girlfriend. but just remember when you're in a relationship its all about getting to know each other and trying to find the one. when you're young its just an experience so that you're prepared for the future, so that you can tell the difference between being mature and immature and work your way around things that you have experienced in the past. getting to know the different ways you do things, and each others values. sometimes it can a way to find a little more about yourself. just enjoy the experience. but its all for the good. explain to him that you've heard some rumour's and how it has affected you. you never know he might of heard some rumours about you too! just be careful and gentle as he likes you. it might be a bit tough considering you have been going out for nearly 3 months but just remember you might have no idea that maybe you actually do like him, its maybe that you haven't been in a relationship for nearly 3 months and haven't really had to the chance to chose between being in a relationship or being single is better. work things out between yourselves, you're obviously in two very complicated situations. stay strong - tips4teens xx
I am the dude in this relationship. We've been together for a while me and my boyfriend and I feel like the dude in the relationship because I go up to him. Im a girl and us girls want the guys to come to us, I want him to be the one to grab my hand first. I want him to be the one who reaches over and kisses me. I want him to be the one to sneak behind my back and hug me from my waist. I really want that but its not happening. ): what do I do? I love him <3
maybe your boyfriend is of a different stereotype. most guys generally don't like to show their emotional side. but the best you can do it get your boyfriend talking a lot to you. pull him aside during a lunch time and talk to him about what you're feeling. maybe he's scared to commit to the relationship, just let him know that he can take as much time as he wants to get used to being around you and having you as a girlfriend - sometimes its hards for guys if you're in their shoes. especially if its feminine to show emotion. maybe one day on a date don't touch him or really talk to him, let him make the moves. maybe you're making them too quickly. if he grabs your hand grab his back. but make sure you're not the one making the first move. that way if he doesn't go forth with anything you have something to prove when you ask him 'why?' in a private chat between the two of you. make sure most of your communication or full conversations are not over facebook or via texting. it should be a face to face relationship because that way you'll know his true expressions on his face etc. its also good to vary the roles in the relationship, you can make the move sometimes and he can too that way he doesn't feel the way you do in this position now. explain to him that you want commitment from him and if he doesn't provide that what is the point of your relationship? stay strong - tips4teens xx
hey me and my family friend like each other and i was wondering how i would tell my parents if i wanted to hang out with him
hmm this is a tricky one, first of all i think you're parents would be happy if they knew that you two were just close friends. it depends how old you are, if you're ranged from say 12-15 i would think that maybe this is a different kind of situation to be involved in and to not head down this road till later. if you're about 16-18+ however if you really like each other get to know each other a lot first! this means that you two would be in proper relationship when the time comes and your parents would rather approve of this situation considering you're thinking of a lot more serious proposals in the future. if you're a young teenager generally some of these relationships are "puppy love" and if you're parents and his parents are very close its difficult to put yourself in this scenario and if things go bad its very difficult to see each other again and causes problems with parents and so forth if they don't have good values. i am just saying that i wouldn't encourage this situation if you were young because there is only a slight chance that it may end up to be a better situation than it is. just become really good friends, and you can hang out. as long as your parents understand there is nothing more. stay strong - tips4teens xx
my friend is always so negtive and puting herself done she thinks that every1 in the grade hates her if i talk about anyone ,make a new friend shes not friend with shell say they hate her and its really starting to get to me,in our friendship group shesays that they like me so much better that her. i told her that she should give herself & other people a chance and that she shouldn't think like that coz no1 hates her. shes really making me feel sad like i cant have any fun if shes not havn fun
your friend could do with a HUGE self confidence boost and a reminder that she can't control your life. when your friend complains tell her firmly 'people do not hate you' if she goes on then tell her that it's bugging you and she should stop. your friend can't control you like this. do what you want to do, meet new people and enjoy every opportunity! let your pal know you love her and that other people would too if she got a little confidence and met new people. don't let her hold you back, if she keeps complaining then go out and enjoy yourself and don't worry about her. live for yourself, not others. and we know that you're an amazing friend so it's going to be pretty hard to just leave your friend on her own, right? while 'ditching' her might seem harsh she needs to learn how to stand on her own two feet. you'll be doing her a favour. don't completely neglect her, make sure she knows you're still her friend but that she should respect the fact that you are allowed to have other ones. if you're seriously worried about her try seeing your school counsellor and talking about how you can lift her self confidence. you're a great friend and it's about time you're friend appreciates that. enjoy yourself, be strong - tips4teens xx
do you give advice? i thought you were a fruit blog..
our goal with this blog has always been to give advice but in the downtime to giving advice we like to promote healthy eating by reblogging fruit. we will always be here for anyone who needs advice, wants to talk or just wants to say hi!
ok so theres this really pretty girl in my grade and she likes the same person as me, i talk to the guy more than she does so she give me heaps of death stars and she know i like him, i think shes going to tell him that i like him, i really dont want her to causes he and me have a good friendship and i dont want to wreck it. theres also the problem that she hates my guts, and if she does tell him i dont know if he prefers us as friends or he likes her better
if he's going to find out that you like him wouldn't you rather it comes from you? if you sit down with him and tell him you have feelings for him, if he feels the same way he'll be glad you told him. if you keep quiet and she doesn't tell him you like him then he might think you were never interested and go for the other girl. you need to decide whats more important: maintaining your friendship but not taking it further with your friend or taking a risk and getting the guy. guys generally hate girls fighting so be the mature one, tell the girl short and sharp that you think you two should be mature about this. he'll respect you and she'll either pipe down or get mad and you friend want be interested in her if she's out to get you. decide whether you're going to tell your friend you have feelings for him or not, if not learn to live with the fact he might go out with other girls and move on. if you're going to tell him make sure he hears it from you and be mature about the other girl, don't let her know she's bugging you or she'll feel like she's 'winning', better yet, block her out and ignore her, focus on your guy. we hope you find the courage to make the right decision, we're always here for you. - tips4teens xx
Last time he said he wasn't he kept replying like are you there? whenever i said something. And we have this joke where we pretend were not going to talk to the other again and call each other a dog. And i go if your being silly im not talking to you again don't be a dog. And straight away he was like aw sorry i swear i wasn't i'm so sorry. He always apologises when he does something and he knows it upsets me. He is so respectful. I just i don't know i get so confused.
so take his word for it, his chat must have something wrong with it. you need to trust him, he sounds like he must like you a lot. let him know you're confused and feel like he's sending you mixed messages. it might be a good idea to talk to him face to face too, when you're talking about anything slightly serious or just so you can hang out more often. guys can be super confusing but remember that they're always changing and you should be glad you have such a respectful, kind guy in your life. trust him and talk to him. - tips4teens xx
I like this guy and i have for a long time, we talk every night. He is so nice and listens to my problems and makes me happy again. He told me he doesn't want me to move away and made up so many excuses about how he'd never be able to see me it's a plane trip away not a train ride and i'm not for over a year anyway. But he is so amazing but he's acting weird latley he's been sending me so many mixed signals saying he isn't getting my messages or anything :(
well there's three options:
1) he isn't interested anymore but is too nice to tell you.
If this is the case, you're only going to find out if you talk to him! ask him if he's okay and that you've noticed he's been acting weirdly. the only way you're going to clear things up is if you MAKE things clear. tell him right out you're concerned because he's been acting different. take it from there.
2) Something is going on with him and now it's your turn to be there for him.
Just like he has supported you, it may be time for you to give him a shoulder to cry on. as we said before, you need to talk to him and find out what's going through his head. don't keep bothering him desperately asking him to open up and constantly asking him how he is, tell him you're concerned and you're there if he needs to talk and leave it at that, he just needs to know he can turn to you if he needs to.
3) He hasn't been getting your messages.
again, talk to him! clear things up, tell him you're concerned. he might even just need some space.
so the key thing here is: TALK TO HIM!
when it comes to mixed messages you need to be clear. you won't get anywhere if you try to figure out what's behind all his weird actions.
communication is key in any relationship, we hope it goes well. we'll always be here for you! - tips4teens xx
hi firstly i wanted to say i love your blog, its very useful and you guys are the best advice givers. secondly there's this guy i like and im pretty sure he likes me to but how do i know and what what should i do i want to tell him but im to scared.
thanks so much, it's good to hear our blog is getting through to people :) try flirting with him a little bit or suggesting you catch up. if you don't get together that much ask him to hang out with you and a few mutual friends then later on ask him if he'd like to hang out just the two of you, so he knows you're interested in him. once you think you've made it clear that you're interested talk to him and tell him you really like him. just like us girls think guys are confusing, guys think girls can be confusing too so you just need to make it clear. if you already think he's interested in you then it'd be a good idea to tell him you like him. we know it can be nerve-racking telling a guy how you really feel so make sure you're both in a comfortable environment (hanging out together) and tell him casually, don't try to make a huge deal out of it or you may get worried and back out at the last moment. try telling a joke or if you're laughing at something funny or really enjoying yourselves just say 'i really like you' and make eye contact. we hope it goes well! - tips4teens xx
