For My Fellow Vampirekin
How is it for you? I know what it’s like to be dysphoric about your kin. My permanent shift is a vampire, and I know the feeling when you don’t feel like what you’re supposed to be. Here are some tips:
How to act like a vampire:
-I like to stand still in corners and cross my arms.Â
-Take walks at night, but be safe!
-Lie on your back and cross your arms when you lie down. (Unless you’re like me and you can’t because astral wings)
-Be up at night if you can! But remember your human vessel needs sleep! I know, it sucks having to take care of this body, but sleep is important.
-Read old gothic and horror books! I recommend Edgar Allen Poe, he’s a classic I’ll always love.Â
-Look at antique shops!
What to eat:
-I know, it sucks, but you can’t really drink human blood in this body. Substitute it for cranberry juice, red grape juice (or red wine if you can), or other red juices. Maybe even try pork blood if you want to be more authentic (If you can stomach it lol). I also enjoy rare steak. Also, bite apples or other juicy foods like you used to bite necks.
What to wear:
-I have a faux leather jacket I like to wear. I also like to wear a cape around the house. I also like leather boots, skirts, black jeans, fishnets, tights, or lace tights, and black button ups.Â
-Buy gear at the Halloween store! I get capes and accessories from there during October for shifts!
-If you’re an unlucky vampire like me and you have braces that stop you from wearing fake fangs, use sculpy clay! It’s oven bake clay that comes in all sorts of colors. I put them over my canines and braces to mold them, then stick them in the oven. Be careful when putting this over your teeth though. This also works if you don’t have braces and can’t buy teeth.
Hope this helps!
