Lanterns at Danjo Garan (壇場伽藍), Koyasan

Koyasan is an incredible destination, perhaps my favourite in Japan. Serene is the best way to describe it - ancient temples, rock gardens, a sacred graveyard, all set atop a mountain surrounded by forest.
