‘Hematology’ is a concept album that I’m working on about a scientist with religious trauma that loses his mind after meeting a spirit that claims to be God.

I’ve been working on this concept album for a while now, and I’ve been posting it consistently on other platforms, but I realized that Tumblr would probably be intrigued by my project and I feel the need to share it here. So, hello! Welcome to Hematology!

I have a Patreon to help fund the project, it’s really cheap, with the cheapest tier being just $1 and the most expensive tier is $10, but here’s some more info!

Plot:

Three brothers grew up in a tiny little community church in the middle of nowhere South Carolina. With the two eldest siblings having left the church, the youngest remains there alone, grappling with his faith and the harmful environment he’s surrounded by. When the middle child, the estranged scientist, starts speaking with a powerful entity who claims to be God, things begin going downhill fast, and The Youngest finds himself caught in the middle. Between the missing pastor and his increasingly entranced brothers, it is up to The Eldest to protect his family while avoiding falling into the clutches of the spirit that started it all.

The Lower Rio Grande Valley National Wildlife Refuge in Texas could lose 715 acres to SpaceX under a federal land exchange proposal.

Congress created this wildlife refuge in 1979 to protect its diverse wildlife, including rare species like ocelots, aplomado falcons, and migratory birds such as piping plovers, red knots, green jays and Altamira orioles. The refuge protects some of the best habitat in the United States for the endangered ocelot and is one of the last remaining expanses of public lands in south Texas. SpaceX’s rocket launch activities have already been impacting nearby habitat and destroying shorebird nests, and wildlife can’t afford this lopsided deal.

The Center for Biological Diversity is suing the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service to stop this harmful land giveaway, and we need your support.

the bad thing about having unhealthy habits due to mental illness, is when you DO do something healthy style you can't brag about about it because then people will then know you've been doing it yucky style all along. Like you can't brag you changed your sheets or brushed your teeth because then ppl will be like oh did you not brush your teeth regularly before? Thats yucky disgusting! little discussed piece of transmasc history is that one of the previous oldest living pair of conjoined twins (who died in 2024) was a trans man! his name was George Schappell & he came out in 2007; unfortunately his family had him deadnamed and misgendered in their obituary, which is part of why he deserves to be talked about more.

he had a career as a country artist, traveled around the US performing, and won an award! his sister considered herself a big fan of his and enjoyed his concerts. he also had spina bifida & used a mobility aids pushed by his sister. PinkNews recently posted this short quoting George on his transition & shows a clip of them talking about respecting one another's autonomy and privacy.

they died at age 62, which is tragically young but far beyond the life expectancy they were given at birth of only one year. they shared 30% of their brains and were the first known example of a pair of conjoined twins with different genders.
