There has been a major shift lately, in women waking up and realizing their worth OUTSIDE the existence of a man, and I’m so here for it.

We’ve realized that the shit we saw our grandmother’s, mother’s, and aunt’s go through at the hands of our grandfather’s, father’s, and uncles was NOT ok.

We’ve realized that trying to fix, heal, and mend broken men that we didn’t break is NOT our fucking JOB.

We’ve realized that that ‘ride or die’ shit is just a myth men use to label women who can endure as much pain, abuse, and bullshit as possible with the HOPES of receiving a reward in the end.

(Which FYI, usually never happens 🙃)

We’ve realized that true love does not equal true suffering, and it’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever witnessed in my fucking life.

We are literally breaking toxic cycles.

We are undoing psychological damage.

We are healing, and becoming stronger individuals in the process.

& We don’t give a fuck about being chosen anymore, because we’re choosing ourselves.
