Trying to do an art study of jhonen vasquez. I have the big book of squee! And I am working on getting a copy of jthm. The resources seem few and far between to actually watch the man draw but I'm doing what I can. Anyone have any resources I can look at?
Wanted to experiment today. Did a figure drawing and based my mood of everything else on how she turned out. Enjoyed how the markers started blending in parts of it. There are lots of emotions tide to this now and that makes me smile

I know I just posted the Black and White but I did some coloring and it actually turned out pretty ok lol. Let me know what you think. I've been trying to draw a lot more this year and it's been a fun experience.
Had a lot of fun with this idea. Raggedy Ann and Ragatha sharing their stories about the big gloopy monsters they run into. Might do more with this, but I thought I would share.

Part 2 of a TADC run I'm working on for fun and practice. Going to try and run through as many characters that I can
Been wanting to do a series of work so I think Im going to try and do a sexy TADC line starting with Pomni. I'll see how things go but they all should end up on here. Let me know what you think because I've been working on things and am just now getting into doing backgrounds. I wanted to give her a mischievous look, testing limits and having a good time doing it. Everything I do is physically drawn and done for myself as a way to help with stress so hopefully I keep seeing improvement. I hope you all have a lovely day!
One last one for the night. My wife gave me a few charicters she wanted me to draw and Ban was one of them. Little bit of a art dump night for me. Thought if the day is we could make a difference if we explain to corporations that AI companies are manipulating them to use inefficient products and to inflate numbers. Use logic to decrease their user base and effect their bottom line. Also write your local government to force companies to pay for their own electricity usage for their AI tools and prevent the spread to locals. Have a great day everyone!
Been drawing a fair bit tonight. My wife likes Hunter x hunter a lot so I thought I would draw a few of the characters from the show. Been wanting to draw somone in the old drunken master pose for a while so I thought this would be fun. Legs are a little funky but I like it.
Doing some drawing tonight. Watching Sorta Stupid's reaction compilation of adventure time. The damn thing is like 25 hours long. One thing leads to another and I draw Fionna. Fairly happy with how she turned out. I can see where I would need to improve with something stylized like this and I dont plan on inking but still had a lot of fun!

Did a quick sketch of Hisoka for my wife. She really likes the charicter design so I figured I would try and do something with him. Makes me realize I definitely need some anatomy practice but live and let live he still turned out ok. I really need to work on hands so I might do that for a while lol. Full thing took about 30-45 minutes.

Im actually fairly happy with how she turned out. I was working on a different piece that had a completely different vibe but the old ADHD brain wanted me to draw something a little more spicy instead. Vaggie popped into my head and this is what came out. Sometimes you should just let the ADHD win. Have a wonderful day!
Some stuff I did right before bed. If you ever have art black just put some ink to paper or some paint to canvas or whatever your art is. Something will come out of it and you will learn from it. This started as a few squiggly lines I mindlessly scattered on the page. What do you do when you're dealing with art/writer block?
