This is really solid and helpful but it missed a couple things in ZTD so I'm going to add those under a readmore, keeping them as vague as possible (I can't, however, allow highlights to reveal text, so some of this stuff can only be obscured so much)

the sex scene is intended to be fully consensual, but it comes right after one of the characters is established as drunk and does not establish time passing very well, so it's ambiguous whether they've sobered up or not (i think it reads fine/sober, but i've seen other people take issue with it, so want to include the heads up)

love post canon assassination classroom because these kids spent a school year becoming quite possibly the smartest, most elite spec ops soldiers in the entire country and they all have a unique and intense desire for bloodlust and now they're just running around japan. imagine you just walk into work one day bitching about your annoying landlord and your co-worker offers to kill them for you as the first solution and it's all vaguely uncomfortable because you can't tell if they're joking or not. and then when you shoot that down they present another fucked up, convuluted plan on how to make the landlord not bother you and now you're a little scared of the random person in the office next to yours. sometimes this same coworker says "i know a guy" and you're unsure if it's known politician akabane karma or the head of the department of defense karasuma tadaomi or olympic baseball player sugino tomohito or famous actress kayano kaede or the guy who runs the killer ramen shop down the street or your deliquent nephew's teacher. because that's what interacting with one of the 3-E kids in adulthood would be like
Butcher's death in the show is incredibly emotional but not very well written, At least not as good as Homelander or A-train
In the comics, The writing committed hard to Butcher being a villain, Ryan doesn't exist and Terror doesn't sinply die a peaceful death from old age, The build up for his villain arc was very well done
In the show, Butcher has the perfect setup for a villain arc with the S4 finale but they never commit to it, He was extremely chill in S5 and only switched at the very end which brings me to the 2 main issues
1 Ryan was completely sidelined in S5, He simply doesn't show up enough to be determining factor in Butcher's morality as the only interaction we see between them this season is Butcher asking him to die
2 Terror dies a peaceful death not killed by supes
These 2 things aren't even connected to supes, Them being what triggers Butcher into genocide mode again doesn't work
The villain arc worked in the comics, It could've worked in the show if they COMMITTED to it but they kept going back and forth
