Paul's kitchen : I've been coming here since I was a baby and downtown LA has changed and grown around it. I spent my summers as a kid in downtown LA with my mom while she worked in factories with no AC or properly flowing air and worked her ass off sewing all day with no complaint and go home and work some more so that I could enjoy things like Pauls kitchen once a week and have a better life than we did at that time. So when I eat here I'm flooded with lots of memories and appreciate that it hasn't changed at all since then. It maybe be a little restaurant in the middle of downtown LA but for me it's a little more than that. Sometimes you need to be reminded where you came from so that you appreciate the things you do have and not focus on what you don't and maybe motivate your ass to work harder than you did yesterday. #memories #dtla (at Paul's Kitchen)
