In regards to ep 309

Ok, but can we talk about Dad Kane this episode?

This is a man who I truly believe would have run down anyone else standing in front of that gate, but couldn’t run down Bellamy.

This is the face of a man who just watched his father figure be sentenced to death.

And the way Kane looked at Bellamy has me convinced that he knew the only way Bellamy would ever leave Pike’s side was if Bellamy saw that Pike was willing to kill their own people (who Bellamy has believed he has been protecting this whole time) to maintain his own power. 

Pike knew his plan would not succeed, that it was a long shot that he would make it out of camp with Pike. In stopping at that gate, he knew that he was sentencing himself to death, but he also knew that this is what Bellamy needed to see to realize how dangerous Pike is. 

That is what a father does for his children. He sacrifices himself so that they have another chance to succeed, to do the right thing. 

I am full of feelings for Dad Kane and Son Bellamy.
