How to write?
I have an idea for a Wilbur x reader story, I have a plan of plot (1,463 words), but I don't know how to write it to be full body fanfic... Can you give me any advice?
Can I send you a synopsis, and you will tell me if the story is good?
DM me! I'd love to help!!! : )
for tonight (incelbur x fem!reader)
----- 18+ no minors allowed -----
continuation of you'll remember me? but was not planned when i wrote the last one sooooooooooo you probably do not need the context anyway. not proofread well
Wilbur is practically shaking with anger, you’re such a fucking bitch. You had the audacity to act like that at that party only for Wilbur to find out you have a boyfriend. He lets out a heavy sigh before forcing himself to look away from the bar window and your silhouette framed by moisture collecting on the glass.
Some part of him knows he shouldn’t be here.
He’s had enough people in his life tell him this isn’t healthy, but it was never going to be that simple. Wilbur can’t help but scoff at the idea. They must just not understand? That you both were made for each other. They hadn’t been there, hadn’t felt what he had, he wasn’t weird, he was just persistent.
He looks back and the sight of you still gives him butterflies even if it’s you dancing with your boyfriend.
Time suspends and he can’t stop watching. It’s cold enough to see his breath in the air, a cloud that further ruins his view. You spin around dancing to whatever music he can’t quite hear except for a beat that transcends walls. He wonders to himself if you can feel his eyes on you. He gravitates closer.
That party feels like it was just yesterday to Wilbur. He can still taste your lips, still feel the warmth of your touch, and the smell of your perfume. He’s spent days wondering where he went wrong while he obsessed himself with your every move. Just a little online research: social media like history, your followers, and anything else he could get his hands on lead him to one simple solution.
It wasn’t you, and it wasn’t him, it was someone else.
Jared - the cockroach.
and there he was, just behind you, with a grin on his face, and it would be an understatement to say that Wilbur’s blood was boiling just to see you with someone else.
Wilbur has spent far too many hours just watching from a distance.
So he finds himself no longer the helpless bystander, but truly walking across the street. The bar meets him with warm air and a beat that he can feel the vibrations of in his body. It’s not his usual scene, much more preferring to stay at home. He never really got around to it in college, not enough friends nor enough time he wanted to waste getting drunk in public. He was more of a house party person if anything, coincidentally where he found you.
He lets out a sigh. Brown eyes search the mass of moving bodies until he finds you … and Jared. He slinks himself to the bar waiting until the female bartender finally walks his way. He orders a cheap beer, starts a tab. He drinks it faster than he should in the chair at the counter that is furthest from you.
Jared’s hands are on your hips and you are dancing to the music. It almost makes him nauseous to watch. The moving lights disorient the details of your face, smile on your lips, Jared’s hands again. Your body moves perfectly in time, enticing and awful. Wilbur’s lips keep finding the bottle and then another and then another.
He can’t stop looking at you and Jared, mostly you. You are perfect in every way, perfect for him. He recounts you in such a small amount of moments, and still, his chest aches to see you with someone else in a way he has never had you.
It’s then that Jared is walking away, and it’s then that Wilbur is four beers deep walking closer to you. He travels across the dance floor like a man possessed with the only goal of proximity. You an altar he would be too willing to pray at.
“Wilbur?” His name leaves your lips in the perfect expanse of time and breath. He lets himself savor the sound and the part of your lips as you must look up to make eye contact.
“Look you remembered.” he says and a sense of horror crosses your face at the words.
“What? What are you doing here?” he tracks your eyes to the corner where the bathroom is, where Jared presumably is. He watches as your eyes rake over him. You notice his stubble and the black framed glasses now perched on his face. You notice that he must be at least buzzed.
“Getting drunk,” a smile comes to his lips to accompany the alcohol in his veins “Or maybe trying to find you,”
“I-, Wilbur, listen-” you start.
“Who is this, y/n?” Jared asks and Wilbur can’t help the way his smile grows, practically elated at the chance of whatever disaster this will bring.
“No one, babe, I-” and Wilbur would never admit the way his heart pangs at the thought of being just ‘no one’.
“How long have you two been together?” Wilbur asks prying his attention from you to level it on Jared. He already knew the answer, just over a year, from the anniversary post he found on your instagram. The music continues as a wave of sound. People move around all of you none the wiser of any tension or conversation at all. Your eyes narrow at Wilbur.
“Who the fuck are you, bro? She doesn’t want you?” he says.
Wilbur can’t help but to laugh at the irony.
“Jared, Stop, please just, one second-” you scold them “We are gonna go smoke a cigarette, just, please, bear with me here?” you try and force a smile before roughly taking Wilbur’s hand and pulling him outside back into the cold and the silence only interrupted by passing cars and that muted music. The cool air is a welcome feeling as Wilbur’s face seems to only get more hot once the two of you are alone. He finds himself in an alley, you pressing your back into the cool brick wall of whatever shitty bar he has found himself at.
He watches in silence as you fumble to find a pack of cigarettes in your purse and a lighter.
“You are a real asshole,” you say as you light the damn thing, exhaling smoke into the open night. Despite your words you hand him the cigarette following a few drags. “I mean seriously,”
Wilbur obliges, taking a few puffs as he carefully considers his next words.
“I wouldn’t have fucked you if I knew you had a boyfriend.”
“It’s not like either of us were thinking straight.” you say with a glare, taking back the cigarette. “I wouldn’t have fucked you if I was sober.”
“Yeah, right.” he says.
“A real fucking asshole.” you poke his chest, taking a drag of the cigarette before blowing the smoke directly into his face.
“Like you are happy with him?” he says.
“Like you would be any better? I don’t even know you beyond your name, Wilbur, and you barely even asked me for mine? What do you even care?”
Wilbur knows he isn’t prepared to confess any blooming feelings from that night so instead he kisses you. It’s sloppy, lips pressed against lips with too much pressure and not enough tact. You wish it didn’t make your mind swim with moments from that party, ecstasy and panic. He’s caging you in, ever imposing with his height as your cigarette falls to extinguish itself on the concrete. Your hands find the nape of his neck, entangle themselves in brown curly hair.
“What the fuck?”
It’s Jared’s voice that interrupts the tentative dance.
Wilbur barely moves but it’s you that disentangles yourself in a sense of bewilderment.
“Jared, it’s not what it looks like, I was telling-”
“Fuck you, Y/n,” he says and Wilbur can’t stop watching the crash and burn. He can’t help the way it almost makes him feel giddy, a satisfying conclusion taking place just before his eyes.
“Jared, no, I’m sorry,” you take a few steps towards the shorter man but he’s quick to shrug you off.
“Guess she’s just too into me,” Wilbur says and Jared lunges first with his fist before any sort of witty remark. You yelp in surprise at the sudden escalation. His knuckles meet Wilbur’s nose in a flash as you look on in horror. Blood finds its way seeping from the taller man’s nose. Red travels down to cupid’s bow, to chin, to spit from scarlet tongue, and vermillion finding the crevices between Wilbur’s teeth as he still grins.
Jared walks away without another word as brief silence is interrupted with the sound of Wilbur’s laugh.
“This is all of your fault,” you hide your face in your hands as you once again lean against the wall of the alley. “and you made me drop my cigarette.”
“Maybe it’s a sign?” he says and you part your fingers just to glare at him once again with the rest of your face still covered. You are met with an, equally toothy as it is bloody, smile.
“Jesus, tilt your fucking head back, man,” you are fussing with him then, hand on his forehead until he is adequately following your instruction. “This is not a sign, it’s like your mess catching up to me.”
“I’m not so bad, darling,”
“Look at you.” you say.
He can only imagine the sight of him, fingers pinching his nose and blood that surely got splattered on his shirt in the commotion. Despite his better judgement, and your instruction, he can’t keep himself from looking down at the sight of you.
“I couldn’t stop thinking about you beautiful.”
“Don’t start with that,” you say.
“Please, darling, didn’t kissing me feel right?”
He sees the way the words get the cogs moving in your brain. It felt just as right as it did for him right? Wilbur watches as you shake your head but still your gaze comes back to him, back down to his lips.
“Come on, Jared is out of the picture, no need to keep lying to yourself.” he says.
“Just because we have sex once doesn’t-” you push your hair back in frustration. “So what, you did all- All of this? To get me to break up with my boyfriend?”
“All I really did was walk up to you, darling, the rest was all you,” he comes in closer.
“We both know that’s bullshit.” you say.
“That doesn’t change the outcome.” He's boxing you in all over again, the back of your head against the wall as you careen your head up just to look up at him. You can feel your face burning despite the freezing temperature.
“That you’ve blessed me with your loneliness?” you ask.
“Not necessarily.” and he is a carnivore, a predator that has caught and cornered its prey. He is closer than close, his foggy breath tickling your skin. “We don’t have to be lonely.”
You kiss him then, extending yourself by getting on your tiptoes. He eagerly responds, the whole mess of both of your mouths tasting of iron. He ignores the aches in his face at contact to give in to his desperation to have you. He’s pressing you back then, his hands exploring anywhere you will let them, cold hands sneaking up under your shirt. He’s practically vibrating in excitement as you return his advances.
“God, I felt awful after that night,” you say and he is moving down to nipping at your neck, marking skin he can find access to, leaving blood in his wake. “I never thought myself a cheater,”
“He just wasn’t right for you anyway” he says against your skin and you nod.
“and you are?” you ask and he stands again with a grin. You can’t help but be angry at the sight of him as you narrow your eyes for the millionth time. He sees you as kissed lips and flushed cheeks somehow able to ignore any contempt hiding in your expression. He sees you like a prize that is just a conversation away, a few correct dialogue options to ‘woo’ the girl.
“I’m better than him.” Wilbur says and of course he believes it.
“And how can you be so sure?” you ask. He kisses you again, and you can’t shake the way he tastes like a drunk night’s regret. The dim alley does a great job of hiding every part of him you had also then decided to ignore. He’s not quite tidy, hair a day or so into needing to be washed, clothes likely collected from where they were once decorating his floor. Still you find yourself returning his actions with an eagerness you would hope no one would ever know about.
He still leaves you catching your breath.
“You don’t need Jared.” he says, body close. Your back is pressed against cool brick as his hands find your hips. You squint up at him, and try to find a version of yourself that would stay here. He smells like cheap cologne and beer.
“I don’t,” you say “But I also don’t need you.”
Wilbur needs you … he thinks so anyway.
He pouts his lip and watches as you avert your eyes, shaking your head. Wilbur maybe starts to feel a little bit too desperate for his fading ego. It’s almost like you are slipping through his fingers, and all after this was going so well. His grip tightens ever so slightly, pulling you closer until you are finally looking at him again.
“You don’t?” he asks, trying to not sound too much like he was begging. It couldn’t be that hard to convince you? You want him right?
“Maybe … just for tonight,” and it feels like giving in to something you shouldn’t, a drug that just gets you too high. Besides he can be your rebound after making you lose your boyfriend, it’s the least he could do. His grin returns at your word, a brightness in his demeanor flooding back at the promise of you. “Your nose is bleeding again,”
“Oh, shit-” his hand rises again to wipe away blood.
“Keep your head back like I said,” you say as you physically guide him. He listens as you sigh. Wilbur busies himself with the sky, looking up at street lights and the outlines of clouds in the night. “My apartment isn’t far from here, that's why we were at this bar.” you say it like it’s information you aren’t quite sure you want to share.
Wilbur sees any advancement of whatever this is as proof that you want him. So he stares at you, waits patiently.
“Could you take me with you?” he asks finally and you sigh before wiping away some of the blood from under his nose, letting your hand linger there as you debate the question. Though a part of you had already made up your mind when the both of you walked outside together.
“Let’s go,” you say while linking your hand with his. His skin is clammy, and it’s strange just how much bigger his hand is than your own. You pull him along despite thinking better, despite knowing inherently that this isn’t a good idea.
Wilbur is content to follow without complaint. Maybe you like that he’s desperate, maybe you like that he’s easy, or maybe you just like that he wants you.
That’s human enough- to want to be wanted.
You look back at Wilbur and he is still looking at you despite the struggle of looking down with blood gushing out of his nose. You want to say something but end up forcing yourself to look away.
Wilbur thinks he is in a state of shock. One of his hands is still holding his nose and the other is holding your hand. He wonders if he’s wiped any blood on you by proxy, hand to hand, lips to cheek.
“Watch your step,” you say as you usher him to the stairs. You punch in a code before you are holding the door open to the old building you live in. The wooden entry creaks as Wilbur steps in. You are quick to usher him into the elevator.
“Jared really did a number on you…”
“He did,” Wilbur can still taste blood in his mouth.
“Was it worth it?”
“To see that sad look on his face, yes,” you push Wilbur slightly but it ends with the both of you leaning against one another and the elevator wall.
“Sad, really?” you ask.
“Like the dog he is,” Wilbur smiles something awful and you find it almost makes your heart flutter. “He said you didn’t want me.”
“Well, maybe he is just an asshole.” you say.
“I thought that was me?” Wilbur asks.
“Maybe I’m just into assholes then.” and he moves to kiss you. “Ah, wait.” The elevator dings.
Wilbur follows you into the dingy hall and down a hallway. Apt 503. Your heart is racing as you unlock the door and Wilbur’s hands are resting on your hips, rising higher until they find bare skin. The both of you know what this is, another hook-up, another night to regret later, but Wilbur can’t help but hoping it’s more. He presses soft kisses into the back of your neck and then the back of your head.
The door opens with a click and you go to the bathroom. Wilbur watches almost confused but buzzing from the lack of contact with you. He locks the door before following once again.
“Sit,” you say and he obeys. Despite sitting on the toilet seat he’s still so tall and you can’t help the way your gaze lingers. You busy yourself with wetting a towel with warm water then plucking his glasses off the bridge of his nose to set them on the counter.
“Did you bring me here just to play nurse?” You move his hand slowly down to his side.
“Shut up, I feel bad my boyfriend punched you.” he winces as you wipe away congealing blood.
“Ex-boyfriend,”
“Sure,” you say and Wilbur huffs. You stare at his lips.
“Darling?”
“I told you earlier, I need you-” you lean until you're so close you can practically feel his lips against yours but your face feels impossibly hot even as you try and make him squirm. “Just for tonight.”
Wilbur smiles, grabbing your wrist and moving your arms down to your side. He quickly kissed you with a hunger he had only hinted at. He moves on to your neck, biting roughly at skin you are sure will bruise. It doesn’t matter any more though, whatever claim he lays upon your skin. You can’t help the way you whimper at the pain, nor can you help the fact the more he does it the wetter you are getting.
“Fuck, Wil-”
“You made the right decision, taking me home instead,” and Wilbur feels alive like this. “Where is your bedroom, sweetheart?” he’s standing suddenly, crowding you against the wall with his hands on your hips.
“You are always so eager,” you say but oblige all the same, sneaking from under him to go to the hall. He follows. When finally you are swinging your door open Wilbur is quick to return his hands to the first place they can manage. Your room is dimly lit, one big bed and a desk against the wall. One floor lamp illuminates the fabric of you, decor on the walls and some clothes scattered on the ground.
“I wasn’t really expecting anyone but Jared,” you say.
“I don’t care what your room looks like,” he laughs lightly before he slips your shirt over your head. Wilbur drinks in the sight of your black lacy bra and the hem of your matching underwear.
“I care a lot more about looking at you, pretty.” he says. You yelp as he throws you on the bed. He is quickly hovering over you and your head is spinning. “Thank fuck you aren’t wasting this on, Jared,” he says, whispering the words in your ear before traveling back down the expanse of your body. You can feel his stubble on your bare skin, can feel as a breath gets caught in your throat as he only goes lower. His hand pushed up your shirt, his mouth kissing still down your stomach. You interlace your fingers in the curls on his hair.
“Wilbur,” you whine.
“I just want to make you feel good, relax, darling,” he purrs as he is slipping your short skirt off your hips and down your thighs leaving you more exposed than you were prepared for.
“Fuck,” you moan as his fingers slip under your underwear.
“Does that feel good?” you nod “Your words?” and you swear you can feel his smirk against the skin of your thigh.
“Yes, you asshole,” you say shakily as he adds another digit, lazily pumping his fingers in and out. You shudder as he moves to pull out of you, slipping your underwear down your legs. You can feel his hot breath on your pussy as he looks up at you through the hair on his forehead that you aren’t gripping on to.
“Can I taste you?” and Wilbur won’t admit he hasn’t done this before and hopes that any inexperience he does have is clouded by your own pleasure and anticipation. You don’t respond, merely pull at the locks of hair earning a groan from his lips. It’s a reflex to release one of your hands as soon as he is licking between your folds, struggling to find your clit. You cover your mouth, muffling sounds you can’t help but make. Wilbur laps at you with a fervor as you struggle to keep quiet.
“Let me hear how good I’m making you feel,” he practically growls as his hands hold your thighs apart, fingertips begging to bruise.
“Fuck, Wil, fuck,” being all you can manage as he continues, now also pushing his fingers inside of you, pumping them in and out all over again. It’s dizzying as you shudder under his touch. Wilbur drinks in your every sound, each squirm of your hips, and pull of his hair as encouragement. He devours you and thinks of every moment he watched from the sidelines, every kiss he watched you share with Jared, all for you to end up here, underneath him. Pleasure passes over you in waves as your moans become a constant string of syllables.
Wilbur can feel his hard cock pressed against his boxers. He can’t help but find friction as purchase, rolling his hips against the bed. He moans into you, vibrations that leave you reeling. He quickens the pace of his fingers, focuses only on you despite his own desperation. Wilbur knows he’s the right choice? He can make you cum. He can be what you need…
Your thighs shake as it all becomes too much. Too much pleasure and too much Wilbur. You feel as you dissolve into it, push at his head to give you a reprieve. Wilbur smirks against you as he feels you tighten around his fingers.
Wilbur doesn’t give you time to think until he is already locking his lips on your own.
“You did so good,” he whispers in your ear. “but I need some more from you,”
“Jared-” you start.
“Don’t think about him. Say my name, only my name cause you remembered it so well, okay?” and Wilbur is fumbling to get his own pants off, the sound of the belt and then a zipper.
“Wilbur,” and he rewards you with a kiss on your jaw.
“That’s it, do you want this?” and it’s words in your ear then his lips again down your neck, sucking bruises.
“I want you.” you say breathless.
“Of course you do.” he says and he is a drug you can’t quite kick. You hate how cocky he is and yet when he presses into you, you love it. When he is finally seated within you the fullness makes you dig your nails into his back. It’s then that you realize he still has his shirt on, and you are pulling it off of him. You take the chance to see him fully unclothed in the privacy of your own apartment and not a random bathroom at a party. “You feel just as good as last time.”
This was that feeling Wilbur was chasing, and it was the feeling you were chasing in turn. It felt wrong but perfect. He was gross but he wanted you enough to fuck up your relationship and part of that made you only want more. You find yourself overwhelmed when he starts moving.
“Ngg-” you struggle to ground yourself as he thrusts into you. You find his lips, and he kisses you back with the intention of devouring you all over again. “Wilbur, Wilbur, Wilbur,” you say against his lips.
“You are so easy, darling,” he says and it makes you think of the last time where it was all ‘stupid bitch’ and even stupider decisions. It was now, where again he was fucking you without a condom and you weren’t even thinking of stopping or, god forbid, begging he pull out. “I’m gonna fill you up all over again, fuck you full,” he laughs and you whine.
“Please, Wilbur,” and you are pathetic to say it. The feeling is searing as he splits you open over and over. It feels awful and life changing all at the same time. “You should have punched him back,” you say with breathy words.
“This is better than any of that,” he bites at the lobe of your ear. “I get you.”
You, a prize to be won.
The room is all the sound of skin to skin and labored breathing. Wilbur moves like a hungry animal, eager if only just to please himself and to keep you just where he likes you, underneath him. The both of you are close, desperation growing like a fire that only knows more gasoline.
“Wilbur, I- I’m so close,”
“I can feel it,” he huffs and you struggle to connect your lips with his until he’s pressing you back down into the bed. His hand finds itself snaked around your neck, applying minimal dizzying pressure. You gasp for air but find little relief. “You’re mine, okay, y/n?” he says it against your lips before releasing his hand on your neck.
“I’m yours,” and you don’t add ‘for tonight’ and you aren’t sure that if you did you would mean it. He kisses you again, slips his tongue in your mouth. You cum just like that, tightening around him as you dig your hands into the sheets.
“Good girl,” he says, and it’s heat and fluttering and conclusion.
It's to die for.
Older!wilbur would be so scared to touch you at first, nervous he reminds you of your dad
Older!wilbur being so gentle and soft hearted with you, taking you on so many dates before making things official, and wanting to make sure he has your trust and you know his intentions

nsfw simpbur under the cut
just something i was day dreaming about last week. not my usual forte but i love me some subby simpbur :p
smut minors dni, short, sub!simpbur, pnv smut, unprotected sex, praise kink, simp calls reader mummy, alluding to oral (fem!receiving) unedited!
Simpbur who is rutting into you as you lie on your back. He just using you. The wet sounds between your connected bodies urging him to move at a brutal messy pace. His thumbs digging into your hips, you’re so sure they will be bruised tomorrow.
Your fingers comb through his damp curls from sweat as you kiss any skin you can reach on him. Neck, cheek, jaw, throat, anywhere. You’ve been here for what felt like hours as you continued to let him fuck your tight cunt as much as he wanted. You were laying in bed only in one of his t-shirts and lacy panties and be had come to you, with a pained desperate look in his eyes as he begged to let him pull your panties to the side and fuck you senseless. How could you possibly say no to his adorable pouting?
He was so determined to keep filling you up until his come was oozing out of your hole. Until he couldn’t cum anymore. The more he lazily thrusted he was hitting that sweet spot inside you that made your toes curl and the tighter it made your cunt squeeze around him. Causing his eyes to screw shut and mouth to drop open in a silent cry, his hips stutter for a moment before getting more sloppy.
“you’re doing so good for me baby, you needed this huh?” you praise him.
“y-yes, feels s’good” he stuttered. “you feel so good mummy.”
You hum and bring him down for a kiss that has your toungs colliding as he whines into your mouth. Hes hands begin to slide up to your breasts. pinching your nipples between his thumb and index fingers. Then alternating to just squeezing your whole breasts. You moan at the sudden attention and buck your hips to meet his thrusts. You can tell he’s getting close, because he always got more handys when he was.
“are you close baby?” you ask.
All he can do is moan and nod hastily.
You giggle.
Then Wilbur is stilling inside you letting out a long groan, cumming in long ropes as you coo and kiss the side of his head when he rests his face in the crook of your neck.
Skin sticks together between you as panting fills the space.
“such a good boy,” you hum. “now, why don’t you clean up your mess and make mummy feel good?”

if you need to be mean
revivebur/utahbur x reader
this i wrote a long time ago and did not really proof read. i am just throwing it out here so it doesn't die alone. i likely will never write more of it.
He had said he was never going to come back to this place, never back to Utah, or back to you (though that had not been explicitly stated). You hadn’t allowed his absence to be the end of everything- even when it was so sudden.
You worked a dead-end job waitressing for a local restaurant out of high school. You and Wilbur had tried community college together, but you failed at every attempt.
It was a long argument the day you dropped out, the day you had to stop digging your hole of debt deeper. In the end, he said it was okay, and he graduated by himself, one year early.
Even now, you still go to the same gas station expecting him to be behind the counter. You keep moving forward even if the movement of time stopped feeling like progress so long ago. It was only occasionally that you allowed yourself to think about him, about Wilbur. You imagined the grand sites of the world, imagined him framed in the middle, his proud smile and an eager look behind his eyes.
It was comforting to imagine him better off, it made the ache of everything the both of you used to be almost bearable. You never took off your friendship bracelet even after all these years, it was a solemn reminder that graced you occasionally when your eyes would glue themselves to the wound-together strings. It had taken hours then to teach him how to make it, the colors now faded and dull. The meaning had shifted so many times, friends to lovers to strangers…
You weren’t doing well, not by any sense of the word, but by grace you were still doing it. Day by Day. Even if it felt constant- time’s tendency to be lost, collapsing into itself. In a breath you were certain you would never be alone and the next you are in a nearly empty one bedroom apartment, alone.
Routine becomes angry customers' words as a culmination of sickness in your gut, and the long drive home to the cheapest place you can afford. You made enough, enough to scrape by, to keep going. Time not on the clock is spent thinking about wishing you had the money for a therapist or enough to cook a genuinely good meal more than once a week. The downward spiral wasn’t stopping but never got quite bad enough to be noticed. You could drink yourself to sleep and the only people to know would be you.
Today was a day like any other, waking with a crook in your neck and a groan. It was another shift, another measly amount of money, more people to ask you wordlessly to force a smile to your face.
The gas pumps at the place you still returned to like clockwork never quite liked to read your card. It was always easier to go inside, get a drink or something and pay for the pump.
Today you went in searching for a much needed energy drink. Heat permeates the air as you hop out of your old car. You rush to the door, sighing as the bell rings with your entrance. You are met with the fluorescent buzzing of overhead lights and the familiar but far-too-narrow isles. You hum to yourself as you retreat to the fridges, grabbing a red bull. It’s easier to look at the ground, to run your eyes over the endless brands of gum in front of the register than to look at the gas station attendant that sees you far too often.
“And also can I get twenty dollars on pump three, please,” you mumble, placing the can down carefully on the linoleum counter.
“Y/n?” Your name was not a usual part of this dance?
You look up and can't help but freeze like a deer in headlights.
It’s Wilbur, like a walking ghost in front of you, it’s Wilbur.
You pause and allow yourself to take him in. He is disheveled, with slightly grown-out hair and stubble. His brown eyes meet yours somehow duller, recognition that sparks something that fades too quickly.
He’s back in his uniform, an orange polo that never quite helped his skin tone but washes him out somehow more now with the smattering of pink angry scars across his skin and the haunting white streak that cuts through his frazzled hair.
“Wilbur?” you say and a small upturn of his lips surprises you “W-what are you doing back here?” you ask and the upturn of his lips quickly falls.
“Guess things didn’t quite turn out the way I imagined them to,” he offers, a phrase equally useless as it is cryptic. You pause for a moment with the words, your mouth open then closed.
“So you're back to this?” you ask and he nods.
“For now,” he responds and you bite at your lip, chewing fruitlessly for what to say next. A tension ebbs and flows between you two for a moment as you struggle to find words. Wilbur moves to check you out instead. It leaves you to fumble to fish your card out of your wallet. “22.76 is your total,” he says.
“Hasn’t turned out so great for me either, if I’m being honest.” You force a smile as you pay, continuing to chew at your lip. Wilbur doesn’t say anything, merely shuffles in place then slowly pushes your red bull across the counter.
“My number is the same,” you say, grabbing the cold can. “I guess- uhm, if you still even have me in your phone-”
“You would want to talk to me again?” He asks.
“It’s not like there is much else in this town,” you say with a shrug. Wilbur nods and you force yourself to smile at him. “So maybe I'll see you around?”
“I’ll text you,” he says with a sideways smile and the crinkling of his eyes. You resist the old butterflies it brings you.
He texts you like things never changed, pictures of the graffiti in the gas station bathroom and his random thoughts. You answer quickly, always, find yourself absorbed into every word. He’s the same, mostly, if not just slightly different. He’s more cynical, sharper than he’s ever been, and you chalk it all up to time.
Limbo.
That’s what this was. The great choosing of paths in life, a diverging road. You want to hold on to him and he wants to leave. He is a bird who's wings the world hasn’t quite learned to clip. This town, this place, it's a home that has only ever scorned you, and yet a part of you is telling you fleeing will be impossible. Even if Wilbur is something good-
He kisses you now, pushes you back on that shitty motel couch, room paid for with spare change. It smells like weed still even with the window open, smoke blown carefully out of the suicide-proof crack.
Everyone always called Wilbur a dreamer, flights of fancy he would share with you in private or broadcast to people who would rather do anything but listen. His teeth click against yours, his tongue warm in your mouth, his hands burning as they slip under the hem of your shirt. He’s hot, burning hot, like a star is begging to collapse in his chest.
“Wil,” you start and he blinks, catching his breath. His eyes are slightly red, the glass bong discarded to the middle of the table with the bowl killed and left with black and white ash.
“Hm?” he hums, a familiar sound, the upturn of a question. You didn’t want to speak, not really.=, but ignorance was only bliss for so long.
You had heard people talking, coworkers at the gas station who were never quite so good at keeping secrets.
‘Can you believe Wilbur thinks he’s gonna make it across seas?’
‘He’ll come crawling back,’
‘Probably,’
“Are you really leaving?” and it aches to ask, aches to watch as his eyes dart from your face to the wall, to anywhere else but you. He sits up and away to where he leaves you with a sliver of his face and the nape of his neck. You can feel the high, the gentle tilting of your consciousness, in and out, in and out.
“Next week,” he says and he still looks like yours despite it.
Next week….
There is a fading hickey just under his ear, his curls unwound by your hands, and he smells of your body wash, vanilla that lingers in a room.
“And telling me was where on your list of priorities?” anger doesn’t escape the words, angry doesn’t even begin to describe the sea of emotions begging to consume you. You feel sick as you create distance, shuffling until you can move your knees to your chest, closing your body around yourself.
“I didn’t want to hurt you,” he explains, a quiet plea of his supposed innocence.
“Then what did you think would happen when you just disappeared?” you say. You try not to cry but you can hear the way the words leave your mouth with cracks and bruises. You can feel the warmth of the tears pooling in the corners of your eyes. Awfully so, you can’t stop looking at him, at the expression on his face that wavers from guilty to lax to worry to anger.
You stand and he catches your hand, he pulls you to him until the both of you are once again a mess of limbs on the couch. He kisses you, this time for desperate reasons, more keening, his lips pressing back against yours with the tact of an apology coming far too late. It’s not words and you wouldn’t even consider it starting somewhere.
This was about a dying fire and gasoline that is still not enough kindling to breathe a new flame.
A week isn’t a long time, but he promises to write to you.
You never receive a single letter.
He jumps when the automatic door slides open. You know he is working the night shift again, so when you come in at 6 am you know that his shift ends in an hour. Forcing a smile on your face is easy when a similar expression graces his own as soon as your eyes meet for the first-time again. It’s a tired uptilt of his lips, a lazy excuse for a warm greeting but warm all the same.
You two had been texting for a week nonstop.
“Good morning,” he greets you as you walk up to the counter.
“Good night to you, you’re getting off soon right?” you ask and he nods. There are dark circles under his eyes, the kind that make his face look sunken in, bringing out the hollow state of his cheeks. “Christ, Wil, are you taking care of yourself?” you don’t realize the nickname slips out until it’s already there, in the space that lies between you both.
“As best as I can,” he responds. You chew at your bottom lip, tracing your eyes over his face. It’s the same if not more gaunt now then you remembered it. There were days when you were both still in school and Wilbur had his night job that you would have to force him to eat something or bring something to eat to the gas station. You were out of a job and he was fumbling to keep the two of you afloat. He looked similar then.
You don’t know if you’ll get used to the white streak or the multitude of silvery scars that never cut through his skin before. You think you find a new one every time your eyes focus on him.
“Shit, one second,” you retreat to get an energy drink before returning to the counter and placing it in front of him. He moves slowly before simply pushing it back to you without scanning it.
“On the house,” he says.
“You can’t get fired this quickly, do your job,” you scold playfully. “How long have you been working here again anyway?”
“It’s just one red bull,” he says, then looks away from you “A month or so since I’ve been back.”
“I’m surprised I didn’t see you sooner, and , mister, you are gonna have to ring me out anyway, I need twenty dollars on pump two and I will be paying,” You fumble with your wallet, fishing out a twenty dollar bill and sliding it over to him with a smile.
“You just want to make my life harder, hm?” he asks and you nod with a small smile gracing your lips. You can’t help but notice the way his gaze lingers before he’s moving again, cash in drawer, ding. “Still not gonna make you pay for the red bull though, love,”
You roll your eyes.
“Fine, but can I return the favor? I’ll make you dinner tonight if you come over? You were never good at cooking and I, thankfully, remain to be adequate at it.” It's a step closer than just his number, just texting, a step horribly closer. He pauses for a moment in surprise, a silence falls between you two. “Sorry, I mean-”
He’s almost in disbelief.
“After I sleep, yeah,” he smiles, something that shows the cracks in his dry lips, a smile that still doesn’t quite reach his eyes the longer you look at him.
“I’ll text you my address,” you say and he nods. “Bye, Wilbur,”
“Bye.” he says.
It's hard to walk back out into the heat from the freezing inside. You process more of what you have done as you walk out.
You have no idea what to make Wilbur, no idea if he hates foods now that he once loved. You should probably just text him and ask but all of it feels like maybe you are making a bad decision. You take the pump, opening the gas cap. The exterior of the car burns you as you keep your touch as brief as possible.
Your own tendency to get attached was the problem; a problem where Wilbur was still so freshly center stage, an encore in a way.
He lived an entire life away from here and now he was back, and he was different without explanation.
You crawl back into your car, and drive off without looking back, to starve yourself from your newly redeveloped bad habit if only partially. It was decided on the drive to your shift that you would make him something that you used to make: Vodka sauce pasta and chicken.
Today you had a short shift, the only highlight being the text from Wilbur you received at the beginning.
Wilbur: Wish me sweet dreams, I’ll see you tonight?
Y/n: Right, here’s my address
Y/n: Come around 8?
Y/n: Sweet dreams, Wilbur
Your stomach swims with anxiety the rest of the day , something you can’t cull no matter how many deep breaths you take. You hurry through your grocery shopping, pasta, sauce, chicken. It all becomes a balancing act of trying to remain calm and go through with the motions. You didn’t need to be anxious? This was Wilbur, right?
“How does your food always come out good?” Wilbur asks. You can tell he’s high when he comes out into the shared dining and living room of your shared apartment. You ignore his blood shot eyes and the smell. You made pasta, something you could probably cook with your eyes closed. He’s thankful all the same, practically moaning as he devours his first meal of the day.
“Years of practice? I’m glad it’s good, Wil.” He smiles and you smile back.
“I love you.” He says and he’s being genuine even if he’s dreaming while saying it.
“I love you too-”
“How was your day at the restaurant?” he asks and you sit with your own plate of food, his hand brushing across your waist as you pass him. You silently wish he wouldn’t ask.
“Same as it always is, stressful but fine,” you think he asks because he wants you to go back to school. “Did you learn anything cool?”
“Just history, love.” His eyes sparkle all the same, forever learning and moving.
“You never want to share,”
“I don’t wanna bore you.” he says.
“Do you work tonight?” You ask.
“I do, I’m probably gonna go back to bed after I’m done eating.”
“Can I lay with you?” you ask. “Please.”
You can’t help but jump when a knock comes from your door. The water must be strained from the pasta within the minute, heat radiating from the stove leading to sweat down your brow. Chicken sizzles in another pan with the sauce.
“Come in!” the door clicks open with the words. “Wilbur,” you say as you turn on your heel. You are silently praying you don’t look too much like the mess you feel like.
He looks nice, much nicer than you expected him to. The white streak is nicely curled in his hair, and he is wearing a black button up shirt and slacks. You can’t help the way your eyes widen at the sight of him.
The alarm beeps on the microwave.
“Uhm, just sit down somewhere, it’s almost done.” you say. “Sorry,”
“No rush,” he says. You can’t help but hover a moment in his gaze while the alarm blares on. A smile comes to his lips as he pulls out a chair at the table.
You move back into action, draining out the pasta in the sink, and then combining the sauce, chicken, and penne noodles. It’s not impressive to look at but you are hopeful it will at least taste good. You take a deep breath before turning back to look at the ghost of your past cursed back into your life, Wilbur Soot, back from nowhere and everywhere.
“Did you sleep well?” you ask and then to sputter on. “I- I didn’t really know what to make so I just threw something together I thought you liked from before.”
“Don’t stress,” he’s standing then, his hands so lightly brushing your hips. He moves you wordlessly to a seat, touch that respectfully finds your shoulders. “I slept and you’ve been working? I’ll serve up the food and then maybe we can catch up properly?” You stare up at him in a state of shock.
“Y-yeah.” you say, and you don’t know how to explain how you're endlessly thankful to not have to think or move anymore.
You watch him as he manages to put food in front of both of you. It’s almost painful to see the way he moves around the room, an ache awoken in your chest by the mere sight of him so close to you all over again, living in the same space, breathing in the same air. It feels like domestic bliss, just the way it used to. When finally he is sitting again, the nostalgia born of proximity between you two is almost dizzying. You both eat in silence for a moment before you are squirming in the lack of language.
“So, what made you come back, I mean, actually?” you ask and you almost regret it after you see the pain that twists in his expression. He scoffs then chuckles.
“Life was exciting for a while over there, never-ending excitement. Then it got worse, then it got awful, and I’d never felt more alone in my entire life.” He scoffs. “I guess I didn’t know where else to go.”
Your heart falls to your stomach.
“Oh,” you say.
“I, well, I thought I had reached the end of my story, and my best shot was returning back to the beginning.” he says.
“I thought about you all the time.” you say, and the confession makes you flush and your heart race.
“I thought about you too, and eventually you became this idea of a life I could crawl back to, a reason to keep going…,” he laughs then, a sound that makes you jump from your place across your small dining table. “I don’t have the right words, I’m sorry,”
“That's okay,” you say.
“I- I made a mess of everything there, and when I came back I assumed I had made a mess of us as well. I couldn’t help my own trepidation, not after all of this time, after the huge fucking mistake my life has become. I thought better than to seek you out like I wanted to.”
Wilbur had always been a dreamer. He had these vast ideas that you couldn’t practically comprehend- they were impossibilities and stars he was convinced he would be able to wrangle into submission. In part when he left, it felt like you were free from a hand grenade that had long ago lost its pin, but now he was back, and you weren’t sure if whatever had been inside of him had already exploded or if you were still meant to be waiting with bated breath.
“You said you were going to write.” you say.
“I wrote but I never sent them,” he says.
“I never moved on, no matter how hard I tried.” you say and you feel sick with the words, with the admission you aren’t sure you are ready to share but that you speak into the open air despite this.
“Would you let me back in your life?” he asks, your eyes locking with his own.
“What would you want with me?” you ask back.
“Whatever you’ll let me have,” and you freeze at the sentence, the intensity of the words only amplified by the way he can’t take his eyes off of you. You cough, almost choke.
“Was the food good?” you ask, trying to starve away attention from yourself.
“It always is, love.” he purrs and butterflies become birds in your gut: Insides become a slurry of viscera.
“Were you always going to come back here?”
“No.” he says truthfully. “I used to think I was going to come here and get you, once everything was said and done. I was building a country, and I was going to be some type of hero and leader. I was going to take you there. I was going to be this magnificent thing like I always said. It’s funny how fast things change.”
“What happened?” you ask and he laughs again, can’t help himself.
“I blew up the entire thing.” His hand unbuttons part of his shirt before he fidgets with the collar. You sit there, dumb-struck, as more details build the image of something awful that happened without you. “I died.” Then he bursts into laughter again but this time so loud you wince.
“Sweetheart, no need to look so scared?” he says and you nod. Maybe that bomb inside him really has gone off?
“You said you died?” You say quietly, eyes glued to the table, then his hands, cuffs, buttons, curly hair, glasses, and his steadily moving chest.
“There was an awful man that knew how to cheat death there, but I was an experiment, of sorts. I didn’t quite come back right.”
He watches you tilt your head like a confused dog.
“I was in hell, the afterlife, a train station. I was there for 13 years completely alone. I briefly had visitors, the other dead. I didn’t come back all put together, something was twisted or missing, fuck if I know, but- but- I’m better now.” he says and you want to believe him.
“Wow, fuck, Wilbur,” You stand then, shaking your head and your shoulders. You lean over, picking up your plate and his empty one. You can feel his eyes on you and then he is beside you at the sink.
“Let me?” he asks and you can’t speak before he’s beginning the dishes, shuffling you to the side.
The water runs as you box up leftovers for the fridge then wipe down every surface of the kitchen. The two of you get done at the same time, the perfect pair. It used to always be like this, and now so suddenly a door that ceased to exist was open again. Wilbur wanted back into your life, and you couldn’t decide if you would allow it. You couldn’t decide if you wanted him all over again.
He turns to look at you and his presence alone is like poking at a bruise, raw and sore.
“I’m sorry.” he says and you nod. “I’m not a good guy.”
You don’t know what to say.
“I’m glad you still go to the same gas station,” he whispers and you step forward, wrap your arms around him so tight you are sure it must hurt. He smells like smoke and you can’t help but press your face into his chest. The proximity is finally familiar. Your body relaxes as his hand runs up and down your back. “You smell good,” he says.
You step back and take in a cool breath of air.
“If you leave again you have to take me with you on day 1.” you say and then you both find a way to laugh about it.
“I promise.” he says and you don’t know if he means it- are sure that you may never know. You can see now that he’s still a disaster waiting to happen, and you hate that you are so ready to devote yourself to impending doom.
“Do you still think you maybe aren’t all back?” you ask.
“Not in any way that matters, but now maybe more in the diagnosable mental illness way,” he says.
“So maybe we can get you to a professional?” You see the skittish look he gives at the suggestion.
“I think there may be better ways…” he says.
“Like what?”
He releases a breath from his chest, and then he shuffles in his place in front of you. He struggles to speak, and you watch as his mind swims with what to say next that doesn't reveal his urge to avoid a shrink.
“Are you high?” you ask and he grins “Your shift starts in an hour, Wil?"
“I’ll be sober then-”
“Wil, you can’t keep doing this. It’s not good for you.” you say.
“It’s fine, love, come here,” and his hands are pulling you closer by your hips, and it’s Wilbur, your Wilbur. “Kiss me better?”
And you kiss him all the same.
“Let’s relax?” and it’s a joint that he pulls out of his pocket, and you can’t say anything. You’ve smoked so little in this place, smoked so much less since he left.
“Fine, but, outside,” he follows you out onto the porch of your apartment. It was a small cement overhang with metal railings. You only ever bothered to get one chair. He sits then motions for you to follow onto his lap. You stare for too long at where he pats on his thigh before surrendering yourself to bad habits. You watch intently as he lights the joint then inhales. A pause follows and then an exhale of smoke. You wait your turn even if you aren’t sure if you want to partake, you will anyway. It comes in a way you aren’t ready for. His lips on yours and the slow exchange of breath. Then you can’t help the way you sputter and cough.
He laughs.
“Look at you.” he practically purrs and your face burns.
“Should we be doing this?” you ask.
“What part?” he asks.
“All of this, maybe, maybe it’s too fast?”
“It’s nothing new? You know me inside and out still?” Wilbur looks at you with those dark awful eyes and you swear it was never like this before- never like staring into the eyes of an animal. He was softer before, even if he bent to the same vices as he was now.
He leans back, accentuating the Adam's apple on his throat. He takes another drag of that joint and exhales. Then he passes it to you and your now inexperienced fingers and the smoke finds your lungs without the scorching crucible of his lips. Your body gets lighter and lighter.
“Were we made to be together?” you ask as you pass the joint back to him.
“If I say yes will you let me keep you?” and his gaze is as intense as his words. He inhales again then exhales.
“I don’t think the question is one you can dictate with want…” you say. “or desire.”
His lips find you again, more smoke, more blissful numbness that comes over your body as weightlessness. He kisses you longer, gives in to that all-too-familiar feeling he’s been desperately trying to take in with moderation. You pull back, take a deep breath in, and keep him away with your forehead pressed against his own.
“I think you should go now,” you whisper.
“But do you want me to?” he asks
and you wish your breath didn’t get caught in your throat, wish you didn’t acquiesce to your urge to look at him all over again, drink in every curve and hair out of place.
“No,” comes out quiet and scared. He leans in close, until he’s breathing on your ear and down your neck.
“I used to hallucinate you coming off the train most, when I let my mind wander, it would always be you stepping down from a train on to the platform,”
Wilbur doesn’t believe in god but part of him thinks that you are the closest thing that he can get his hands on after everything he’s done, so his grip is tight and it confirms your presence and your distance. He’s here to stay.
“I’m not gonna leave you again.”
“Wilbur,” you say but he kisses you and you want that to be enough, so you let it be. His hands travel under your shirt, find bare skin to devour with only his touch. You moan into open mouth kisses and desperation that finds no end. Your body is playing a part you know all too well, and Wilbur is a scene partner all too eager to follow.
“I love you,” he says in between stolen breaths. You can’t help the way it makes you nauseous.
please just any simpbur x reader fluff 🙏🙏
hiiiiiiii, some short fluff just for you <3
fluff is not my strong suit but !
Wilbur’s arms are tightly wrapped around you as the both of you sit on the couch of your shared apartment. Your back is pressed against his chest. Faintly you can hear rain pattering on the windows and the roof, faintly you swear you can feel the dull thrum on his heart, and frankly you can see yourself spending the rest of your life like this.
“How’d I get so lucky?” he asks and you huff.
“Lucky?”
“Lucky enough to have you all to myself.” he hums. You don’t know how long he’s wanted this, are so blissfully unaware that he wanted you before you had the pleasure of knowing his name. The rain continues outside, climaxing to a downpour and a drone of sound.
“I wouldn’t consider being lucky a symptom of being stuck with me,” you say and he pulls you closer, tightening his grip with his arms wrapped around your middle. You don't know how wrong you have it. He shushes you and your tendency to put yourself down.
“I wouldn’t change anything,” he whispers in your ear, lips that then tickle at the skin of your neck, touch of skin to skin almost imperceptible. You turn, maneuver until you are facing him, and sit on the backs of your calves. It’s hard to believe that someone would love you like this, and you wish your first instinct wasn’t the doubt that always filled you with his words of admiration.
“You wouldn’t?” you ask.
“I couldn’t even dream of a way my life could go better.” and Wilbur couldn’t. You were his prize that was hard-fought and well-deserved. He loved you in his own way: knowing the strangest details of your life, memorizing the map of your skin, and knowing your body like knowing you was the easiest thing he’s ever done.
“You are ridiculous.” you say. He smiles and you laugh. He reaches out and pulls you closer until your hands are on his shoulders, until you are led into proximity. Wilbur kisses you, long and sweet.

You look easy- he thinks anyway.
You smile, if only to be polite, but he takes it a little differently.
“What’s someone as pretty as you doing in a place like this?” he says, and Wilbur has watched every video possible at flirting. Still, he’s absolutely a mess. He doesn’t know you’re here alone just to get drunk but it feels like he does- like he’s prying. He keeps eye contact despite the itching desire to look anywhere else.
You grin up at him from your place on the couch anyway and shrug.
“What do you care?” you ask and he shrugs in turn, feigns disinterest. Attack type A failed? He scrambles in his brain for what’s next. The line of his sight falls lower, eclipses the curve of your tits in that lowcut shirt you’re wearing.
“Thought you looked like you could use some company?”
“Hm, maybe?” you say. The fish bites. Ding ding ding. He smiles, sits down on the couch next to you, but your legs are touching his. It’s intoxicating and it makes his stomach churn.
“I will say, I’m feeling exceedingly reckless tonight.” you smile.
“I’m Wilbur,” he says and you nod.
“I hope I don’t remember in the morning.” you say and Wilbur isn’t given the chance to piece apart whatever that is supposed to mean for a female. He sees the way your gaze comes down, focuses on his lips and not his eyes. “Can I kiss you?” you ask.
Wilbur is taken aback by the question, and he hopes this dark basement is enough to hide the warmth that reaches his cheeks. Wilbur nods because he knows he deserves this, deserves you implicitly if this is how you are acting.
Your lips are on his, soft and timid. It’s testing the waters with a bucket of blood. He bites, predictably, but with a fever you didn’t expect. Your bottom lip bubbles up with red, thin skin that gets caught between teeth, and you hate the way the both of you smile into it, hate the way it tastes like iron.
“Maybe I will remember your name, Wilbur.” You grin, all teeth and blood sinking into the cracks on your lips.
“I hope so,” he leans in again, desperate for more, but you lean back with a pout.
“So eager,” you whisper and you think you might have him right where you want him, but in reality you may be too drunk for all of this or too high. The couch the two of you share so suddenly feels too public, the beat of the music no longer a drone like your heartbeat but a headache.
You turn your head like a dog and his brown eyes are locked with yours. He’s ready to pounce, or follow, or beg.
Wilbur is then trepidatious, feeling like prey when all of his stars say he should be the predator. He is supposed to take what he wants, not bow to whatever you were leading to. So he kisses you again, tells you what you want with his body. A stray hand finds the back of your neck, touch firm, pulls you closer and closer. You give in because of course you do - open moan into his mouth and flutter your eyelashes.
“Slow down,” you say and he does but he’s still so close. His large hand makes its way to your thigh, hypnotically rubbing the bare skin revealed as he pushes up your skirt on that shared public couch.
“Would you follow me?” you ask and your mind is swimming with the music and the touch and the overwhelming feeling of it all.
“To where, beautiful?” and shouldn’t he be leading you he thinks to himself.
You smile, take his other hand, and stand. He follows you all the same, and he hopes you can’t feel how clammy his skin is. You pass through with ease while he stumbles, shoulders bumping shoulders. Still, the party splits like an ocean of people as you quickly lead the both of you to the bathroom, to privacy. So suddenly the world goes from moving colors and bodies to sterile light and the sound of a shutting door.
He’s pushing you then, taking the reigns with vigor. Wilbur gets his hands on your thighs and lifts you up onto the white counter top. He’s caging you in and both of your chests are moving with the effort of continued breath. The small room becomes electrical buzzing and the sound of breathing in proximity instead. Wilbur is calculating his next move.
You force a hand over your mouth when his lips find your neck. Teeth graze skin, tongue used to savor salt of sweat and burn of perfume. It’s a tense game as you whine and bite your lip and he devours you without the proper canine teeth to do so. You remind yourself that you led him here, to this bathroom, to this small and enclosed space.
“Wilbur,” leaves your mouth as an empty prayer to a man that deserves no praise. You would know no better.
“That’s it,” he says. “You’ll remember my name right?” You card your hands through his hair, grip tight in a way that makes him groan. “Won’t forget it?”
“Shut up,” you say and he pulls back, arms on either side of the counter.
“Don’t talk to me like that.” and his eyes are dark and tense. It lingers and lingers. Then he kisses you and it melts away. His fingers find their way under the hem of your shirt, dance cooly across hot bare skin. You moan into his open mouth as he explores your body further. The tense moment still finds itself as a sudden dread building in your stomach that confuses and intermingles with desire.
He nips at the thin skin of your lip again, relishes in fresh wound bleeding.
“Jesus,” you say. Hands come up to his chest, keep lips away from lips.
“Is something wrong?” Wilbur asks as he tries to ignore his own desperation mixing with panic. You watch as his eyes remain on your mouth. A strange feeling brews inside him as blood gathers to a drop
“No, just didn’t think this was where my night was going.” you laugh lightly. “I need a breather,” The counter is cool under your thighs and the muffled sound of the party outside the door grounds you. Wilbur towers over you like this in a way you didn’t realize before, a feeling magnetized by the small room the both of you were currently occupying. He’s teetering, towards and away from you, a black hole of need.
“Okay,” you whisper. His hands find your hips, then they are carefully peeling off your revealing shirt. He leans in, deliberately shares oxygen, proximity that has you shaking for more and less.
“No more teasing,” he says as he eyes the prize - your body on display in front of him, all for him.
“Then take what you want?” you say and his eyes widen before he’s laughing.
“You’re too hot to be this pathetic.” he says and you flush and falter- your cheek hot but your stomach doing flips that feel more like anxiety than anticipation.
His hand finds your jaw; His thumb on your bottom lip. Slowly he drags what blood is left across your lip with a small smile. A feeling of dread bubbles up in you but yet not enough to crawl out of the position you’ve gotten yourself into.
All women want to be told what they want. Wilbur knows this.
He qspreads your legs apart before he’s pulling you closer to the end of the counter; His grip firm on your hips. You melt into it despite everything.
“God, you are so close to perfect,” he hums as he again moves himself into the crook of your neck. You listen as the party continues and then he is marking your neck.
“nghh-” you struggle. He heightens the pleasure, his hand suddenly exploring further and pushing your panties to the side. You can feel him laugh against your neck as you reach your hand back up in a desperate attempt to make less noise.
“You think you are gonna be so loud they can hear you over the music?” he asks as one of his fingers pushes inside of you while his thumb fumbles with rubbing at your clit. His pace is fast and reveals a lack of practice he’s been hiding behind learned confidence. Still your other hand that isn’t covering your mouth moves to grip the fabric of the hoodie the man is still wearing.
“Fuck,” you say as he pushes in another digit, stretching you all too fast.
“Feels good right?” he asks and you nod. “You feel nice and tight and warm,” he purrs and your mind swims and swims with the pleasure and the words. He moves his hand faster, focuses on that spot that leaves you fluttering around him. He exercises restraint despite being eager to piece you apart.
He leans back, watching intently as your eyes struggle to stay open and the red flush that is growing on your cheeks. He grins.
Then he stops, wiping his hand on your skirt before he’s fumbling with his own belt and the fly of his jeans.
“Do you have protection?” you ask as you catch up to the moment at hand, the cusp of your almost orgasm passing.
“Not on me?” he says and you chew at your lip.
“I don’t either,” you say. He’s pulling his semi-hard cock out as you talk. You can’t help but be suprised. His cock is long but not very thick; You watch as his hand moves up and down.
“Are you on birth control?” Wilbur asks and you nod, eyes coming back to his own. His lips upturn. “Then I'll just pull out,” You want to ask for more but he’s moving closer, positioning himself at your entrance already.
He’s pushing inside you then, long and slow and agonizing. It’s all he’s ever dreamed of, mind numbing pleasure.
“Fuck, you feel good,” he says and he’s huffing into the expanse of your neck, catching his breath until he’s finally bottomed out inside of you. “Fucking slut,”
He’s moving his hips then and leading to your hands scrambling for some sense of purchase. They find themselves tangled again in the thick fabric of his hoodie.
“I don’t do stuff like this often,” you confess as a breath in his ear, curly hair that brushes your face.
“I don’t believe you,” he says and then his hand is on your mouth, stopping any rebuttal. He fucks you harder. “It’s okay, no need to save face with my dick inside of you, pretty.”
His hand doesn’t move and your head is spinning with poor judgement. You don’t try and speak again, let him muffle your moans as his pace becomes faster, more animalistic. It feels good, horribly so, in a way that has you falling apart by the moment. You can almost forget the demeaning things he's said- that he’s still saying.
“Fuck,” he rasps. He’s close, too close to still be fucking you like this. His hand presses harder against your mouth as you clench tighter around him and the fabric of his hoodie. “Fucking stupid bitch,”
“mgh-” you mumble, attempt words, but give up so quickly.
“Are you close?” he asks and you nod. His pace loses rhythm then tact. Thrusts that just almost lead to your own release. His hand clumsily finds your clit again. “Please, pretty,” he says and you melt. You feel the way your walls clench as he keep moving, in and out. It’s warm and overwhelming. Then it’s worse.
It’s something hot inside of you, a feeling that is almost like dread, or maybe its just something that becomes it.
“Sorry, sorry, sorry,” he mutters between moaning as he releases himself inside of you. His hand brings you to a confusing climax, still rubbing at your clit in a hopeless manner, without care not direction. You both collapse into one another and you are lost for words. The moment passes in a mess of bodily sounds.
Wilbur thinks this might not be too bad, that maybe this way he can keep you. He doesn’t say that though.
The shock runs over you and runs over you.
“I can buy you plan b?” he says as he pulls out. He’s quick to begin tidying up his own appearance as you still sit there. “Come on, we gotta get out of here.”
He tries to help you, pushing hair behind your ear, moving your clothes until they are on straight. He isn’t sure what to do now, is going through the motions.
“What’s your name?” he realizes he never asked.
“y/n…” you say.

Wilbur finds you like a cockroach attaching themselves to the darkest corner of the room. You’re drunk and high when your eyes meet for the first time. He’s all baggy clothes and too tall white man. On the other hand, he thinks you look like some good easy fun if his chapels-of-men internet stars mean anything at all.
You smile- if only to be polite, but he takes it a little differently.
“What’s someone as pretty as you doing in a place like this?” he says, and Wilbur has watched every video possible at flirting. Still, he’s absolutely a mess. He doesn’t know you’re here alone just to get drunk but it feels like he does- like he’s prying.
You grin up at him from your place on the couch anyway and shrug.
“What do you care?” you ask and he shrugs in turn, feigns disinterest. Attack type A failed? He scrambles in his brain for what’s next. The line of his sights falls lower, eclipses the curve of your tits in that lowcut shirt you’re wearing.
“Thought you looked like you could use some company?”
“Hm, maybe just yours?” you say. The fish bites. Ding ding ding. He smiles, sits down on the couch next to you, but your legs are touching his.
