Alright, let's start things off right.

(Icon & image by my friend @thejade) Hi, my name’s Wonder. I’m 22 years old as of writing this, I go by he/him, and I like Kamen Rider and rabbits. I made this account a long while ago to commission some people, but I'm probably gonna start talking here a bit more.

Caleb's Quest: a series of stories I've been writing that uses my playthrough of Pokémon Sword as a base (EDIT 4/3/2023: twitter moments broke and i can't edit them, so i moved my shit to wakelet) - base game - isle of armor - crown tundra (currently a WIP, working on the final story) - post-game & other side content

#my fursona underwent through a big-ass overhaul for his trinkets after working on him for like…months #basically the idea now is that he uses a scarf to transform but the little henshin trinkets are badges #and in a theoretical “toy” version the badges are little electronic things that you can push down like clickers #and you attach them to a slot in the scarf

the thing about mascot horror as a genre is that it could be so good if the majority of people in the game of making them werent primarily motivated by lucrative merchandising. An entire genre of horror built off of the inherent dissonances between bright colorful entertainment and merchandising and the horrible exploitation frequently involved in creating them for mass audiences that many people are faintly aware of but choose to ignore. But of course most working in the genre dont actually care about that and in fact actively profit off the very same so we get twenty dismaland knockoffs and 50 dollar plushies of biteyboo or whoever the fuck

can’t forget about the desperate need for constant attention and engagement by planting seeds of lore in the background for theorizing and doing a lot of Implications(TM) that, in the grand scheme of things, don’t really make a whole lot of sense because these things are being written as they go along
