The scene where Irene arrives at 221B and the Fireplace scene were HOURS apart…

Irene was dreading their “end of the world.” We all saw her regret when she hears Mrs. Hudson call for Sherlock.

She knew he will never forgive her after betraying him so mercilessly…

Yet, she waited for him while he was in his Mind Palace… She didn't interrupt him once. She just... watched him.

Even when they were on borrowed time, she just waited and spent hours just watching him play the violin mindlessly.

We all know if she tried to... I dunno... sit on his lap or something, he would be out of his Mind Palace in a millisecond.

But no... she just watched him.

Okay, pet peeve regarding Sherlock/Irene in non-Adlock Sherlock fanfictions:

Irene is so very very often used as a tool and a sexual object in Johnlock / Sherlolly / etc.-fanfictions, it annoys me SO much.

I can't remember the amount of fanfics I have read where Sherlock sexually 'uses' Irene to get over his 'supposed' feelings for John / Molly / etc. And stuff like "it's just physical with Irene, it's not love..." I have seen in sooo many fics.

Uhmm...it's Sherlock we're talking about. That doesn't make ANY sense for his character. But okay, let's just ignore the obvious BBC canon, shall we? 😒
