Death Stranding

1st impression right after playing.

I heard unbelievable a lot about this game that it first ps4 game which I bought in almost two years.

The visual part of the game is made with taste. The colour grading is made in calm grey and green tones. The landscape is rocky steep land covered by always fresh like after rain grass and moss creates atmosphere of journey and separation from then wild and dangerous world. Emptiness and Minimalism are the main features of the game. There is no any additional information on the screen until it’s necessary. Cutscenes are introduce by a smooth move of a camera that you don’t notice how they started. Game mechanics are quite simple: just walk and keep balance. Kojima really makes his brand. The sign “a Hideo Kojima’s game” appears more than a few times during the epilogue. I thing the gameplay won’t develop during the game except driving vehicles what makes me sad.

Watched Jacob Two-Two to explore Canadian culture. Kind of typical cartoon about good, fair boy with Canadian things like hockey and French-speaking girl. 2 episodes were enough.

Finally, life in Canada lead to the fact that I watch JoJo. Of course, I heart a lot about it but I didn’t know what to expect. Visual setting is England in late 19th century. I say visual because in other aspects it isn’t. It seems interesting
