They're embracing. They're both smiling.

Ziva's eyes are closed. Her face pure joy and contentment. Her journey has been about trust: Trusting in her own happiness. Trusting him that they can be happy. Trusting that she deserves it. Trusting Tony with her heart. What a gesture of trust it is, to let him hold her with her eyes closed.

Tony's eyes are open. His journey has also been about trust: Trusting her to stay with him. Trusting them to make this work. Trusting himself to feel and express his own feelings, rather than hide them as if they might make the people he loves leave him. He's not afraid to see all of that anymore. The life he's looking at is not perfect, but it's a happy one where, after so many years and so much pain, they came back to each other, ready to trust each other again.
