They stared intensively at me as they sat around the decently small round blue table. Three pairs of eyes making it feel as if my heart could explode any minute.
âSo..â Shirazu begins, âThis isnât a joke right. I mean some TV crew isnât about to barge in through that door.â
I let a nervous laugh make its way from my throat as I shake my head no.
The room once again falls silent.
âWhy did you feel the need to hide this from us?â Sasaki asks softly. The sound of his words made the tears welling up in my eyes, a guilty feeling none the less.
Sasaki smiles softly, before getting up from his seat and sitting closer to me. Resting his arm on my shoulder pulling me into a soft embrace.
âIts Alright.â His Whispers to Me, My cheeks burn red hot in embarassment. He so Close.
âOkay. This is not an issue that can be taken lightly. I refuse to work with a Women! Itâs ridiculous really.â Urie snaps. Sasaki tries his best not to let the smile fall from his lips.
âWell I guess it Kind of make sense Now.â Shirazu starts, âI mean it always seemed like Mutsuki was too nice to be a man.â
âWhatâs that supposed to mean?â I question, raising my voice in defense.
Shirazu adverts his eyes from my gaze, looking up at the ceiling for an excuse, âThats not What I Meant! Iâm not calling you weak or anything, You a strong women - a manly women. Like not in a bad way or anything like that.Well I mean Itâs not like anything wrong with being manly or wrong with being feminine its justâŠyour you know Nice.â
Everyone in the room bursts to a fit of laughter, That is except Urie.
âHave You Told Saiko Yet?â Sasaki asks.
I shake my head no, âWhy would I tell her before I told you?â
He put his hand up to his chin, âI dont know a girl thing, maybe you trust her more cause sheâs a female.â
I shake my head to confirm he is mistaken.
âI trust you more than I trust anyone.â
âWell Iâll Tell her!â Shirazu Volunteers. Before he leaves the room, he grabs Urie, forcefully dragging him along, âCome on You Grumpy Bastard.â
When theyâre gone, the silence is nerve racking. I guess you could say Iâm sort of happy it seems like things wonât be changing that much. It hurts a little bit, Urieâs straight rejection. But I guess a part of me knew not to expect much.
Before I came to realization that I was alone with Sasaki and of that still in his arms, he pulled me tightly into his chest.
âDont worry, with time everyone will come to except it. It will become a thing of the past.â
His words fill me with warmth. The smell of coffee beans and pencil sharpenings are oddly enough comforting. I embrace him, wrapping my arms around him tightly it felt as if I could never let go.
After one or two minutes past I come to realization, pulling back quickly he must think this is really annoying. Me clinging to him and Such. But when I look up at him he wears a smile. A Smile hhat would be enough to brighten even the darkest of days.
I Smile, âSasaki, Sir. It makes me really happy. That youâre not angry with me for not telling you sooner. I hope nothing will change. I cant imagine you hating me and or not being in my life. So Thank You.â
Itâs quiet for a few moments, Iâm not sure if I said something wrong. But right before I start to panic all my worries slip away.
âI know.â
Sasaki Pats the top of my head lightly, and gives me a thumbs up.
Just as he goes to walk away, he stopa and turnz towards me.
âYou Know Mutsuki-Chan?â
âKnow What?â
He looks at me for a small moment, his grey eyes like silver bullets. Piercing through me like as if he Knows All My Secrets. All My Regrets. Everything.
âSince you told me Your secret. Ill Tell You A Secret.â
âUm, Ok?â
He laughs quietly, âIm Happy too. That youâre a girl. Not that I didnât like you when you are guy or anything, you were always amazing and..i..uh..um haha,â He stuttered for a minute, âI guess what Iâm trying to say is, I always thought you were kind of cute. And now things just feel.. possible?â
âWhat do you Mean?â
He Shakes His Head, âI dont Know.â
Then He leaves the Room.
