Logan gently kissing Patton's neck, only for Patton to start giggling because it tickles, and it only gives Logan a reason to keep going. He starts adding little strawberries here and there as Patton squirms.

Spa Day
It had been a while since any of the sides properly treated themselves. After all, they were quite the busy group. Roman had been keeping up with all of Thomas’ recent projects, spewing ideas that ran through him and onto paper. Patton was keeping Thomas kind, as always, which helped not only on-screen but in day-to-day life. Helping a stranger cross the street, smiling at a neighbor, that sort of thing. Virgil kept Thomas on his toes. All the time. All the time.
“What if you left the stove on?”
“Virgil, I haven't used the stove in two years.”
“Okay, but what if someone else turned it on!?”
And Logan was Logan. That pretty much sums him up perfectly. Keeping everything in order, calculating, constructing, maintaining Thomas’ schedule; all the work that the other sides refused to do even for a second.
One day Roman came up with a so-called “magnificent, brilliant idea” for all of them to go get a pedicure together.
“Absolutely not.”
Those were the words of both Virgil and Logan, simultaneously. This, of course, made Roman groan in frustration. Patton loved the idea. Any time spent with his kiddos was time well spent in his mind.
After some back and forth—which contained Roman persuading Logan with Crofters, and then an entire rant to Virgil on “majority rules”—they booked an appointment for that Friday.
On the walk there, they all chatted and caught up with each other. They all lived in the same house, er, mind, but they had been so busy lately that there was much to talk about. Alongside this was a discussion of what colors they'd get their nails painted once they were there. Roman decided on a wine red color, Patton a baby blue, Virgil black, and Logan personally decided that he wasn't getting his painted, despite how much Roman tried to convince him.
“You're already lucky enough that Virgil and I are coming with you,” he said flatly.
Virgil nodded in agreement, giving Roman an annoyed side-eye.
“But Logan! You can just get a simple blue! Oh, or black like Virgil, and you two could match!”
Patton gasped softly,”Awe, that would be so cute!”
“Ew, no. We are not matching,” Virgil muttered, pulling his hood up over his head.
“I second that,” Logan added.
And, obviously, Roman pouted. It didn't make a difference.
Roman was the only one who had ever gotten a pedicure before, so when all four of them stepped up to the building, the others didn't know what to expect. I mean, they had a general idea, but they didn't have personal experience.
After checking in, they all sat in chairs next to each other. Their shoes and socks were slipped off and set aside properly next to each of their seats. Virgil hated it instantly. He didn't like strangers touching him, so when the lady grabbed his foot, even though it was gentle, he flinched, and he glared harshly at Roman.
Roman chuckled in response,”Calm down. This is supposed to be relaxing. You're so uptight all the time, emo. Take a breath for once.” He dipped his feet in the footbath below to get them soaked. The rest of them followed suit.
Logan had actually brought a book with him, though Patton ended up asking him to put it away because this was “family bonding time” as he called it.
Roman lied back and closed his eyes, getting comfortable as his soles soaked in the warm water. Patton kicked the water a little bit, making little splashes that got onto Virgil and made him frown, but didn't object because at least Patton was having some sort of fun. He and Logan kept glancing at each other, both unamused and not exactly wanting to be there.
After the foot soak, each of them had their nails trimmed and their cuticles looked at. Virgil was nervous and he kept whispering to Logan quietly.
“What if she misses the nail and cuts my skin and I just start bleeding?”
“She does this all the time, Virgil, multiple times a day. She's a professional.”
“But still, people make mistakes, and–”
“Virgil. It's in her best interest to treat you with care. She will ensure as best as she can that it won't happen. And if it does, she'll probably fix you up anyway.”
The anxious side took a deep breath and nodded,”Right. Right.”
Patton winced slightly as his cuticles were pushed back, but managed. Roman noticed and held his hand, to which Patton smiled softly. And they both leaned back in their chairs together.
Then came the scrub. Patton's specialist went to him first and took one of his feet and started scrubbing. The moral side flinched, and let out a little,”Oh!”
The other three looked at him.
Patton wiggled his toes slightly as he hid a smile behind his face,”That- That kind of tickles..”
Virgil's face dropped. Then he slowly gave Roman a harsh glare, again. Gosh, you think his eyes would've bulged out by now from all that glaring.
Roman smiled,”What? The scrub tickles sometimes. It's not my fault if you're ticklish.”
The anxious side immediately groaned and buried his face in his hands. Logan sighed and patted him on the back gently as some sort of comforting gesture.
Patton's heel was being scrubbed and he let out a squeak, a few giggles beginning to slip out. He kept apologizing to the worker, but this was so common that she really didn't mind. His foot twitched, and he tired to pull it away a few times out of reflex, but he didn't want to fully be rude, so he kept it there anyway, despite the sponge hitting all those sensitive areas that shot tingles up his leg and a grin to his face.
Virgil was getting more and more nervous anticipation the more Patton giggled, fidgeting with his hoodie sleeves as Logan monitored the process with curiosity and underlying concern to some degree.
Meanwhile, Roman's specialist returned, and despite the prince's brave persona, his smug smile faltered the second the sponge brushed against his skin. He tensed. He had done this before, he could handle it again. Surely, he wouldn't break in front of the others, right? The sponge glided down his arch. A soft yelp. Right?
Patton's cheeks were now a bit rosey, his freckles standing out against the flushed skin. The sponge rubbed against his toes, which sent higher-pitched giggles out of him as he squirmed in his seat.
By this point, Virgil was terrified, and it wasn't helping that he was seeing his specialist come back toward him with his sponge. Shit.
Logan looked between all three, silently observing Patton's flushed state as he buried his face in his cardigan, and Roman's excessive twitching that got worse and worse the longer he tried to hold it in for the sake of his dignity.
Virgil felt the sponge hit his foot. He lasted about ten seconds. His giggles were lower and quieter, but still there, and still genuine. His toes splayed at the feeling, jolting and twisting his foot multiple times as the lady held his ankle in place to properly clean him.
“Okay! Okay! Staha- STAHAHAP! Logan, make h-her stohop!” He looked at the logical side pleadingly before another wave of giggles hit him. He buried his face into the nerd's shoulder and laughed into his shirt with muffled giggles.
This was about the time Roman finally cracked. The sponge went to town on the ball of his foot, trying to scrub away the calluses on it due to his many fights and practices. As the skin was rubbed off, the area got more and more sensitive, and girly laughter came out of his mouth. He covered his mouth, muffling the laughter for a second as his toes curled and he writhed, and it wasn't long before his face was red to match Patton's.
By now, Logan was sitting there, watching the other three and their tortu– I mean, pedicures. He took a deep breath despite the doom he felt, his hand patting Virgil's back still as the other side clung to him tightly.
The emo was belly-laughting now. He practically had to be held down. His face was warm and flushed. So flushed, Logan could feel the warmth through the fabric of his sleeve.
Patton was relieved when his specialist seemed to stop, but then she moved to his other foot and his eyes went wide, swallowing.
Roman let out a squeal as the sponge wedged its way in between his toes, cleaning the area in between them. His laughter was loud as it mixed with the other two.
Several other clients were looking over and staring at them at this point, which only made their faces redder with embarrassment. Logan looked away as if to pretend he was invisible, or just “not with them,” though he was literally being laughed on by Virgil.
And finally, Logan's specialist came over with her sponge, but Logan spoke up, unlike the others.
“Actually, may I uhm.. pass on the scrubbing?” he asked casually.
The lady looked at them and then at his feet,”honey, you have the worst calluses I've ever seen. Absolutely not.”
Logan blinked in surprise,”Excuse me..?”
The lady didn't even reply. She just knelt down and got to work. It was manageable at first as he bit his lip, but the more and more the others were laughing, it was harder to withhold.
Virgil was in tears at this point, starting to soak Logan's sleeve as he slammed his fist on the chair.
“I CAHAHAN'T BREAATHEEE!!!!”
Roman was practically hyperventilating alongside Patton, who was choking on his laughter at the point. The two were hugging each other for moral support, but also giggling at each other and how stupid they all looked.
Logan, huffed as Virgil hiccupped next to him. Wiping his eyes with his hoodie sleeves. He reflexively tried to kick a few times and almost hit the poor lady in the face. He started to apologize frantically, but got cut off by more giggles. He was starting to get convinced she was doing this on purpose.
Logan felt the sponge brush against his arch and he grunted, but withheld any other noise his body tried to make. Despite the little tickly tingles riding up his legs, he had a reputation to maintain, and he was not going to humiliate himself just because of some–
“Oh, hiney. You have big calluses on your toes,” the lady clicked her tongue in disapproval.
Logan nearly jolted, letting out a snort, but trying to play it off as a cough.
Roman noticed and pointed at him, laughing harder at the logical side's reaction. As a result, Logan's ears turned red, despite the twitching smile starting to form on his face. He crossed his arms, but his bidy could only hold it in for so long.
His specialist started scrubbing against the pads of his toes, where his calluses were the worst, and as those calluses broke down, the more he felt it. It hit a point where the tingles shot right up his spine, and he let out a startled laugh. And once that laugh was out, all the other ones were let free.
That one laugh turned into several loud giggles as his toes splayed and curled repetitively. He hid his smile behind his hand, but Virgil, who was still giggling his ass off next to him, grabbed his arm and forced it away from his mouth so the rest of them could enjoy his suffering as much as they could. Rare occurrence for the logical side to smile, let alone laugh. Worth it.
At this time, all four of them had melodic laughter that intertwined and layered over each other for the whole building to hear at that point. Was it embarrassing? Oh, definitely. Was it ticklish? Even more so. Would they be doing this again?
“I am never stepping foot in that place ever again,” Virgil hissed at Roman the second they exited the facility.
All of their faces were still rosey, and no one disapproved of that idea. So that decided that.
And despite how genuine and funny their laughter was, they never spoke of it again. And I think most of them wanted to keep it that way.
