High school AU: Todayâs the Valentineâs day and everyone was flocking Yasusada to give him their chocolates, and so here we are - Kashuu is jealous because Yasusada is supposed to be all his alone - heâs not giving Yasusada the chocolate he made out of jealousy. Goodluck Yasusada on coaxing Kashuu :3z ;; their relationship is up to your interpretation!
I deeply apologize for the delay, it was a busy month for me ;; After getting your prompt, I had to explore how to anmitsu works and I had fun exploring all of their possibilities and dynamics. Theyâre really a good pair. I had fun exploring and drawing and I hope youâll like it too! Happy Valentines!
(Witch & Wizard AU)Â When Mitsutada first lays eyes on Ookurikara, he thinks heâs found a stray forest spirit. The Academy had never taught its mages of hedgewitchery - unlicensed magic is forbidden, and apostates are to be reported on sight, after all. Regardless, the two find themselves drawn together by a cautious curiousity.
hello ayakashiz! i'm your secret valentine for the ss event lmao //covers self in curtains
i drew anmitsu...! this is actually my first time drawing them two, both of them are quite fun to draw; i tried picturing them based on one of your "new year wishes" prompt, where they started their first sortie of the new year and *~*~stuff happens*~*~.Â
personally i thought kashuu is quite a fun character apart from the glamour-y side, so i had him decorating the new year doll/mandarin thing, but it's really up to you to headcanon yourself ohoho 8)bbb
sorry for the sloppiness of the drawing, i'm not exactly completed with the piece yet but will give you a better version in person afterwards, since the extension was given and i was so slow askjfiwefksjf blame my inefficiencies and CNY ahaha ;;;
hope you're having a great valentines and wish you a joyful and prosperous year ahead! //insert CNY default wishes like no tmr even if you don't celebrate those-

Summary: Folklore-inspired AU following the shenanigans of young exorcist Horikawa and his youkai friends.
1.
There was something shiny lying underwater. Horikawa noticed this as he walked along the riverside, and so he put down the laundry basket to take a better look. The small object disappeared out of sight as he kneeled, but soon enough, sunlight returned to shine over what seemed to be a golden earring hidden between the rocks.
Rolling up his sleeves, the young exorcist reached for the earring. A flawless, very carefully crafted piece of jewelry. He held it up to the light. It was too flashy and it looked too expensive to belong to someone on the countryside. Maybe an unassuming traveler had dropped it? A foreigner?
A splash of water right to Horikawaâs face worked wonders on interrupting his train of thought.
âKashuu!â
âGot you.â
Kashuu being the boy smirking right in front of Horikawa, the water up to his neck. Said boy swam swiftly towards firm land, as if the opposing stream of the river didnât matter one bit. Perhaps it didnât for a river spirit âeverything from his hair to his clothes was dry as he sat on a rock next to the human boy.
Horikawa finished drying his face with his sleeves and pulled a face that oddly resembled a pout. âWhy did you do that for?â
âYou were spacing out for good. I thought Iâd get you back to earth. Youâre welcome!â
âAh! Right.â Horikawa looked over to his palm as if heâd just remembered something important. Kashuu raised his eyebrows curiously. âIsnât this yours?â
The river spirit already had two well placed earrings of his own, but he still carefully examined the piece. It was strange of Kashuu to appear so thoughtful, so it sparked Horikawaâs interest even more.
âYou found this here?â Kashuu asked.
Horikawa nodded. âDo you know whoâs from?â
âIzumi no Kami Kanesada.â
âKane-san?!â The reply was so sudden and genuine that the spirit stumbled back a bit. Horikawaâs already big eyes widened even more whenever he got excited.
âHeâd totally freak out if he heard you call him that, though.â
âSorry, sorry. Nagasone-san has been telling me about him since I was a kid, so it feels kind of familiar.â Horikawa explained. âDo you know him?â
âUh-huh. He used to be preeetty famous around spirits here, but he was sealed by an exorcist years ago.â Time was an alien concept for immortal beings, so when Kashuu talked about years, he could mean a decade or a century. To him, there wasnât much of a difference. âThey said his presence brought war, or whatever, but you know? I think he was more flashy and big-mouthed than actually dangerous.â
Horikawa smiled. âSo, heâs a bit like you.â
âHey!â Another splash to the face, but this time, Horikawa managed to protect himself with the neglected laundry pile.
Horikawa laughed at Kashuuâs frown. âKashuu, do you know where heâs sealed?â
The spirit was taken aback. âWait, are you seriously thinking of breaking the seal?â
The boy looked at the jewel in his hand. âIâd like to return this.â
2.
After finishing laundry and promising Kashuu a tray of dango, Horikawa learnt that if he followed the riverside and went into the forest, heâd find a meadow with a big old rock right in the middle where the Tengu was supposed to be restrained. Nagasone and Yasusada had decided to follow him. Out of precaution or curiosity, he didnât know.
âNagasone-san, did you know this place all along?â Horikawa asked as they kept walking cautiously across old branches.
âYes,â the man admitted. âBut there wasnât much of a challenge in telling you right away, was it?â He patted Horikawa on the shoulder. âI knew youâd find him on your own someday.â
Nagasone Kotetsu had taken him and Yasusada as students from an early age, when they discovered the power they had within themselves to sense and see things where others couldnât. He was a gentle man for what his rough image would suggest, but never a soft teacher.
âBut then, that means you have tried to break the seal before, right?â Yasusada asked, tilting his head. The man huffed.
âMore times than Iâd like to admit! Many others have tried, too, but that thing is impossible to break. Maybe Iâve gotten rusty over the years.â
Horikawa laughed, but before he could say anything in return, he realized they had just arrived the meadow. The moment he stepped in, he felt a shift in the aura. It was dead silent in comparison to the rest of the forest and as he approached the rock, an overwhelming sensation ran through his whole body, making it difficult to get through. There were no weeds wrapped around the base of nearby trees or any grass on the ground surrounding the monument. It was, without a doubt, a strong spiritual power unlike heâd ever experienced before.
Nagasone and Yasusada had noticed too, as they remained at the edge of the meadow.
Horikawa kneeled in front of the stone and grabbed the earring resting in his pocket to gently place it on top. âIzumi no Kami Kanesada. Youâve been idle for too long already. I came to return something that belongs to you, so please, show yourself.â He bowed, hands together and forehead touching the ground.
Yasusada grabbed from Nagasoneâs sleeve, who stood with his arms crossed, eyes glued to the stone, jaw clenched.
But nothing happened. Not for the first few seconds, or minutes. No matter how devotedly Horikawa repeated the routine prayers, or how many times his forehead grazed the dirt, or Yasusadaâs suggestion that they should offer the Tengu some dango, since the river spirit seemed to fancy them.
And because of Horikawaâs strong patience, the other exorcists didnât insist too much on dragging him out of there when the moon started to peek behind the clouds. Iâll be joining you later for dinner, heâd promised.
And Horikawa Kunihiro always showed up on time.
3.
When he woke up, he realized his face was plastered against something hard and cold. He felt something ticklish on his cheek, too, like a spider was crawling on his skin. He opened his eyes slowly as the heaviness of sleep dissipated.
It was only then that he realized, even in such darkness, that the âspiderâ was actually hair. Strands of the long, black hair of a tall, elegant figure sitting on top of the ancient rock. Moonlight washed over his silhouette, outlining his long wings and shining over now two familiar golden earrings.
Horikawaâs eyes widened and his mouth barely opened.
The figure smirked. âHah! Left you speechless, human boy?â
The exorcist got back on his feet in the spilt of a second and his whole face lightened up.
âKane-san!!â
The Tenguâs proud smile fell into the most offended âWhat?â
4.
Nagasone and Yasusada had expected Horikawa to return in time for dinner. What they hadnât expected in their wildest dreams was for Horikawa to return with company, let alone the company of a legendary ancient spirit flaunting his huge black wings on the veranda.
Because youkai are bound to serve the human who unseals them and gives them a name, Kanesada âor 'Kane-sanâ, as Horikawa insisted on calling him despite the Tenguâs protestsâ was now a new member of the household.
It wasnât easy at first, but within a few days of knowing him, Horikawa came to learn a few things about Kanesada.
First, he didnât fancy the idea of serving a human, so when Horikawa self-proclaimed as his assistant, his confidence plummeted once again, even if he didnât openly admit it.
Second, he did like dango, and most of Horikawaâs cooking⊠and sake.
Third, just as Kashuu, he seemed to care a lot about his appearance âheâd let Horikawa groom his hair (and wings) from time to timeâ, but that didnât make him delicate. He was a strong spirit, after all, and that made him the perfect companion to have when exorcising ill-intended demons. Heâd brag about it, a lot.
Years went by just like that, way too fast for the humans and unnoticed by Kanesada. Heâd live forever, anyway. He didnât have to worry about illnesses, aging, or the far cries of war looming outside of their small village. Horikawa, on the other hand, only had so much time on this earth. In the blink of an eye, he was already old enough to drink sake âwhy humans had a rule for this, he didnât understand.
The exorcist grimaced, nearly choking after taking a sip of the cup of sake Kanesada had handed him. Kashuu laughed and Kanesada gave the exorcist a pat on the back.
âIt tastes horrible!â
âHehe, thatâs because youâre supposed to make a toast first!â Continued Kanesada, though he didnât seem to have any problem chugging down his drink without it.
Kashuu raised an eyebrow. âA toast?â
âOh, itâs sort of a human tradition,â Horikawa began. âWe raise the cups to cheer for something, or celebrate, or even make wishes.â The whole thing sounded weird when describing it out loud, but Kashuu seemed interested enough. He dragged his feet out of the river and sat close to the other two, making a small circle.
âAlriight, sounds fun. Count me in!â
Horikawa then poured a third cup of sake for the river spirit, who wrinkled his nose at the invasive smell of alcohol. âBut, Kane-san, what would we be toasting for?â The exorcist asked.
âMe, obviously.â Kashuu intervened, earning an eye-roll and a laugh from Kanesada.
âRight right, as if!â
âThen, do you have a better idea?â
âWellâŠâ The Tenguâs voice lowered and he made a pause, like he was searching for the right words, almost bashful. Kashuu stared at him amusedly â'youâve been around humans for too longâ, his eyes spoke.
Kanesada scratched the back of his neck. âAlright, alright! Letâs do it!â He raised his cup first. âFor a long life!â
It took Horikawa some time to get it. The boy raised his cup with a smile.
âYeah.â
ââââ
This was more of a series of fragments than a plot, really. Ahhh, I hope you enjoyed it anyway (and that it was what you meant by folklore AU ahah ;u;). Happy Valentineâs Day! <3 *throws chocos your way*
Hello sweet soul out there who has requested this!! I hope you like it!! *:=ÍÍÍÍ(ăΔ:)I hope I didn't go too overboard with the school AU prompt...
Anyways this is tsuruichi conservatory of music AU where Tsurumaru plays the trumpet and Ichigo the cello. Tsurumaru loves to surprise Ichigo with very loud trumpet solos but is actually chicken to approach Ichigo in person, so gives him paper cranes instead to show his affection.
I actually wanted to dump a few more comics in here but I ran out of time  (àŒàș¶  ෎ àŒàș¶   )
Happy Valentineâs Day! Man, I really loved your prompts. January wasnât a really great month productivity wise - I really wanted to do more for you because KURITSURU LIKE you are fab and the fact that you like KURITSURU makes me RIDICULOUSLY happy. Tbh i wanted to fill all your prompts but I really didnât have time to do them all, so I went with High School AU. (but srsly the kuritsuru model au made me want to cry bECAUSE I WANTED TO DO IT SO BADLY AHH)
(also I have a bunch of sketches that may or may not find their way to you eventually if i ever manage to crawl out of exams and finish them)
ALSO apparently I canât put a read more in submissions, but here, have some writing too ; v;<3
âSURPRISE!â
Ookurikara jumped, his whole body tensing when pale, porcelain finger suddenly grabbed onto his face, thin digits slapping his cheeks. There was a sudden warmth behind him, a slightly shorter frame pushing up against his back.Â
The brunette clenched his teeth, his hands balling into fists as he resisted to urge to punch the annoying boy whoâs snuck up behind his for the fifth time this week. âDonât you have anything better to do than bother me?â
âThereâs nothing better than bothering Kuri-chan~â
âDonât call me that!â Ookurikara snapped back immediately. He slapped Tsurumaruâs hands away from his face and spun around to face the white-haired boy. âGo bother Mikazuki or Mitsutada. Iâm not in the mood for your games right now.â
âBut theyâre so boring.â Tsurumaru sighed dramatically, leaning against one of the desks near him. âMika doesnât even react. Heâs impossible to surprise. I doubt he appreciates my surprises-â
âAnd you think I do?â Ookurikara interrupted, narrowing his eyes at Tsurumaru. The white-haired boy just waves his hand nonchalantly, brushing off the brunetteâs comment.
âAnd Mitsutada gets scared to easily. Surprising him is like bullying a mouse â entertaining for a while, but gets boring rather quickly.
âIâd really appreciated if you stopped pestering me every time you were bored.â
Tsurumaru pouted, his golden eyes staring up at Ookurikara imploringly. For a moment, Ookurikaraâs breath was stolen away from him as he stared into those eyes. God, they were so beautiful. It was really unfair â everything about the white-haired boy was beautiful: his soft, porcelain skin, his bright eyes, the curve of his mouth when he grinned, the way his hips moved when he walkedâŠ
âOhoho, Kuri-chan is staring at me~â
But wow, sometimes Ookurikara just wanted to punch him in his beautiful, soft face. But honestly, thatâd be a horrible idea. Tsurumaru wasnât exactly a weak damsel in distress and Ookurikara had no intentions of getting them both suspended for fighting. Heâd seen first-hand what Tsurumaru could do during physical education, and honestly, it was always better to be on Tsurumaruâs team rather than his enemy.
âKuri-chan?â
Ookurikara flinched when a pale finger poked him in cheek, his gaze narrowing into a glare. Something flashed on Tsurumaruâs face, too quickly gone for him to identify. A shrill tone blasted through the air, the bell signalling the start of class. Immediately, Tsurumaru perked up, already maneuvering to surprise the first person to enter the classroom. But Ookurikara simple sat down slowly in his chair, his eyes trailing after Tsurumaruâs snow-white hair.
For a moment, he thought heâd seen something;Â a flash of sadness and, strangely enough, longing.
It made his own tattered heart ache the same way.Â
hello! happy valentines day to you! i hoep you enjoyed your day~ well umm.. i picked IshiNikka from all of your promps bc i ship them too hihi! I hope you like it! /o/
