Besides the only time he would ever call a Servant by their True Name is when he’s very close to them in his small group and is comfortable with it though not many share their true name though.

Sharing her True Name was of little issue to her, even if there were to be a traitor in their midst. Shamhat was a name familiar only to one Servant, two depending on what incarnation of her king manifested in Chaldea. Even if someone were to read the epic she was included in, they would not form concrete ideas to her abilities, much less her Noble Phantasm. Caster would be dismissed as a little threat, in the best case scenario, and attacked by simple troops at the worst case. Either way, it was not as dangerous as if he were to reveal himself to her.

❝ If I am to be part of your heart, so shall you be in mine. If I may make a small request, will you please call me Shamhat? I understand that there may be other Servants of my class that you are acquainted with, and it would lessen the confusion if you were to call me that. ❞

Even though their only purpose is to serve their master it doesn’t mean they can’t enjoy their stay for the time being so why not make the best of it, it’s why he keeps everything in a journal to never forget. ❝To answer that question-yes, I do. I only consider those who are close to me by a bond as a family and so far you have not shown any signs that I need to doubt you. To me you are like an aunt, you have kindness showing through your actions and words and that is enough reason for me to trust you there. ❞ When he saw tears, he could only smile a little more towards her reaction so he could only walk up to her after putting his book down and wipe them away.

Her role in the epic of Gilgamesh and Enkidu aside, there was little information on her life as someone else besides being a priestess of her homeland. Truthfully, there was nothing worth noting, nothing that set her apart from the women she worked with. Still, if one were to ask her, she would say that she never had a family, never really needed one. She was dedicated to the service of her goddess, and had little time for anything outside that. Not once did she think she could have wanted for something more than what she had. Perhaps, in the hidden part of her heart, that was her dearest wish, and what Gaia knew would make her answer to the call of the Grail. Unknown are the ways of fate.

The hand he raised to wipe her tears away would be cradled by her own hand. A smile would then make itself known on her face, bright as a moon flower opens its petals under the silver light of the evening.

✦  ─ ━ Ѕһɩɴоβɩ   The shinobi gave her a reassuring smile as he placed his bookmark over the page he was reading just to glance up at her there. There are only a few things that would actually make him be uncomfortable and it was rare for it to show really beside…his make-shift family can be overbearing but at the same time  bearable cause of their own way of showing love. ❝I do not mind at all, there’s a selected few of Servants that I already consider as family-sure some can be a pain to deal with however it doesn’t mean I hate them. The general rule goes for you as well, and in all honesty, if that was the case I would say it instead of showing it there.❞ Besides if he’s ever in danger or out of line he’ll get a scolded on it by his second in command there and that person can scary when it happens there. 

How ever temporary their stay in the world was, and even when they would eventually forget the memories they made in Chaldea, Shamhat would treasure her every moment here. She wished that the Grail would allow her to remember the more important things, like his smile, but she knew it would not be granted. Still, it would not hinder her from living her second coming to the world to the fullest.

❝ As the rule applies to me as well, do you mean to imply that I am one of those you consider family? ❞

There was a warm sensation filling her chest at his words, a feeling foreign to her and trying to make itself known in her mind. She blinked a few times, only registering the tears when they began to prick at her cheeks. It was not sadness that she was feeling, not mourning, so why...?

Her concern, she believed, was quite reasonable. They were both Servants summoned for the Grand Order, and given great strength and skills beyond an average magus. Despite this, she treated him like a child at times, hovering over him in Chaldea and keeping track of his status by watching him or asking the other Servants about him after his missions. She understood that he can take care of himself, but her mind would not rest until she made sure of it herself. He might have taken offense by her actions.

Strange that she could treat him like a child in the first place. She was a priestess in life, without a husband or a family to call her own. A mystery for another time.

❝ You really do not mind my presence? A number of people here tell me that I make them quite distressed. ❞

She wondered the reasons for that, sometimes. Especially since most of the remarks came from males. Regardless, what she needed to be reassured of at the moment was the opinion of the shinobi before her.

“Of course.” He noticed she looked deep in thought, maybe she felt weird accompanying him? “Everyone else is always so busy around here things tend to get boring.” He decided to finally chime in, Enkidu was always off on missions during the day, and Gil couldn’t handle two seconds of Ishtar.

❝ I see. May I ask what makes me not boring, My King? ❞ If he obliged her, she would attempt a conversation with him. Despite the difference of stations, she did have a strong will within her. How else could she have approached Enkidu then? Her goddess has not changed at all.

With that out the way, she would begin to change, taking off her jeans and slipping the skirt on. She would prove to be surprisingly adept at clipping it on from the back, since she’d done this in the past. Once the skirt was on, she joyfully swirled around to face Rima again, glee upon her face. “How do I look?”

❝ ... is something the matter, Alex? ❞ Rima did not mind either way, though she was rather curious as to why her girlfriend did ask that question. Should she dismiss it, or should she worry about it? It was not like she thought the gorgon would look at her differently, right...?

Still, to ensure that the other was made more comfortable, she did turn around as the clothes were switched. Then, once her opinion was asked, she turned back around and smiled. ❝ Are you sure you aren’t a deity of soft and cute, dear? ❞

“Well, I can’t help myself if the meals were so stunning, I had to know.” With another laugh, he lead her by hand down the halls to the cafeteria. Looking down at the girl, he realized that he was glad to not be so alone anymore, someone, even if it was only superficial, cared about him.

Caster followed him step for step, taking care not to walk in front of him at any moment. Her mind wandered, curiosity gnawing at her mind. He could have dined with another, she knew, and he mentioned Enkidu to be in Chaldea as well. So why her?

He tried not to laugh, this would be her nature until she was no more, it seemed. “No, that’ll be alright. The dining hall has food…Not that it’s ever as delectable as yours.” He held out his hand to her.

He was her king in life, and so it made sense that she would still treat him with the same reverence and respect now. Still, she took his hand when it was offered to her.

✦  ─ ━ Ѕһɩɴоβɩ Being an Assassin class Servant it does have some downfalls now that he remember especially towards those who do more damage to his class there however considering his Ninjustu skill he could evade it for…one turn but Sabotage could work too. ❝Sure, that doesn’t seem like a problem to me at all. ❞ When he noticed her expression there, there was a small hint of a smile tugging on his lips there in response. He doesn’t mind playing for her there due to him actually using it for good this time even though his memory of it was something he wishes to forget most days. ❝My favorite type of medicinal herb would be Ginseng since it’s a good source for medicine there as for flowers….it would be the Renge.❞

Even if he were to decrease her attack and critical attack by a significant percentage, it did not mean much if he could not breathe while trapped in her arms. There were her personal skills to worry about, too.

❝ I am sure that our respective performances will be lovely. ❞

If she knew that his music would remind him of painful times, she would not ask of him to do it. Shamhat would not be so insensitive as to do that to anyone, much less someone she was warming up to.

❝ Neither of those plants were common in Uruk of my time... but I may as well try using them now. ❞

✦  ─ ━ Ѕһɩɴоβɩ Whether he’ll regret it or not, that’ll be his decision when the time has come there honestly and there’s wasn’t much regrets that he had there despite the few of his past and such but that’s it. Becoming a Servant and serving a “lord” that isn’t focused on dominating lands and the such but instead….saving a dying world in a way was something he would be proud of. He gave a small hum as he continued to walk with her and doing the same when the staff walks by in response there he gave another hum in return there. ❝Ah, I see. As for myself there, I do tend to a greenhouse that has some of the medical herbs I’m housing along with some flowers, reading at most times and I can play the shamisen too. Perhaps if you like I can play that for you one day then. ❞  

... he might regret it when he has to endure her at close proximity. Ironically, though she was summoned under the Caster class, she was far more dangerous when there was less distance between her and the target of her affection. Fortunately, he may be able to use his skills to evade her, if he was warned beforehand. Otherwise... it is up to fate.

❝ That would be wonderful, Assassin. When you do, perhaps I may return the favor and perform a dance for you. ❞

Her face visibly brightened at the mention of both plants and music, two interests she shared with him. Her perfumes were made from plants, after all, and music was essential in the celebrations of her life before becoming a Servant.

❝ Hmm... with your knowledge of plants, may I ask for your favorite one? ❞

✦  ─ ━ Ѕһɩɴоβɩ Honestly, he did not mind if she actually did do that though, receiving such kind and gentle gestures there since most of the Servants he knows and does consider as a family now these days often at times do these to him there so her doing it wouldn’t do any harm to him….it would just make slightly flustered there. So he just gave a nod in response to her reaction there signaling that it was alright. ❝I don’t mind taking a longer route there, it just means more time to relax and such. Ah…hobbies, sure I’m fine with that though I don’t think I have much.❞

How precious. Caster will treasure that reaction, and attempt to do similar gestures in the near future. Perhaps, he may come to regret allowing her to treat him like that. Only time will tell.

❝ It is good that you allow yourself to rest. We cannot perform our assignments well otherwise. ❞

Encountering a member of the staff, she would bow her head low, greeting them briefly but politely, before continuing her conversation and walk with Assassin.

❝ It may not be much, but enjoyment is about the quality. I, myself, am limited to creating fragrant oils and taking strolls around Chaldea. ❞

✦  ─ ━ Ѕһɩɴоβɩ Beauty in the eye of the beholder so they say and honestly it was just how he is, he appreciates what he is giving and silently grieves of what was lost however he learns to use his past to forge the present and was happy to make new memories with his mother there. Even with the loss of memories from Danzo half there, they were always happy to make new ones together and….to be able to be with her once more is something a son could ever wish for. ❝That seems more than fine with me, a snack or two on our way there would help a lot while we chat here and there.  ❞

He reminded her of someone in her life, an existence she understood almost as well as she did Enkidu. That person, she recalled, was someone dear and precious, not quite in her heart, but enough to be remembered. The memory alone is likely what drew her to place a hand on the top of his head, with the intent of brushing his hair away from his face. Caster would stop herself before doing so, however, muttering an apology before making a step towards the kitchens.

❝ We are in no hurry. Let us take the longer route to the kitchens as we discuss something. Perhaps, we may begin with our hobbies? ❞

That still sounds like food. Doesn’t help with the intimidate thoughts being how possibly drowning her with this perfume thing might make her taste better. 

“ Any… Used ?” 

Personally, she would not eat the combination of ingredients that made up her perfume. Myrrh was not something she enjoyed in anything but fragrances and burning oils for celebrations.

❝ If you mean to ask if anything can be used to make perfume, then I will have to say no. Plants and oil pressed from them are what are used to make the fragrances in my time. I am unsure of the present methods, however. ❞

((MM verse)) "Someone is going to be very lucky to have you." Judging by the way he keeps his gaze averted, he intends for it to not be him. Too dangerous, perhaps.

What he meant to imply by his mannerisms was not lost to the witch, and she will not have it. A thin hand rose to gently cup his chin, encouraging him to look at her properly.

❝ Indeed. Now that I am not intoxicated with wine, will you accept my offer to lay in bed with me? It is as you said before, I will remember our first time without alcohol dulling my senses. ❞

Her tone was light, almost teasing, but her eyes held a serious gleam. She meant every word.
