This is the sad but obvious truth. The equipment is so unnecessary yet they feel entitled to it. It is a "toy" to them and there are very few situation is any around there that it would be fitting. When you put it in their hands they're going to be itching to use it.

Part of being oppressed is being cornered by fear to keep quiet, that mentality keeps the oppressed under oppression. When you decided to speak out no matter the cost, that is when there is an opportunity for change to occur.

Social Media can in many ways be a very beneficial tool in resisting oppression, when used correctly it is a way to unify people who otherwise would feel helpless to stand for a cause. simply by bringing attention to it twitter users are playing a part in bringing about change. once it’s out in the open it can be discussed and what happens from there is in the hands of society.

White people are considered to be good based on their demographic, not based on any actual criteria. This is more of a social problem than a personal one; it’s about American society’s low expectations and how those low expectations shape behavior. The culture is set up to ensure that whites are mediocre (or worse) and that non-white people suffer because of the low standards to which white people are held.
