Shiro Shinobi commentaries
Looks like we're ready to get underway, folks. It's the Capitol City Cat-gators versus the Ember Island Eel-hounds. What a match this will be!
The Eel-hounds lose some ground.
What an evenly matched game thus far!
It's been a long day, my faithful friends. It's time for me to hit the trolley and head home to the old hen. I'm kidding, folks. She's the spider cat pajamas, I tell ya. Have a wonderful night, Republic City. This is Shiro Shinobi, signing out!
If you're just tuning in, boy, have you been missing out! This has been a match for the ages, folks! There hasn't been a bending battle of this magnitude since Avatar Aang took out Fire Lord Ozai. As it stands, the Tigerdillos won round one, the Platypus Bears won round two, and here we are in round three with thiry seconds remaining. The Tigerdillos are down to just one player. His teammates were knocked into the drink with a mind-altering rock-a-pow and a fire flier. If he can hold on, we will go to a tie-breaker. The Platypus Bears are taking their time...
Fifteen seconds remaining. What is going to happen, folks? Ten seconds! And here they go! All three players are simultaneously making their move! The trifecta, the triple-double, the three, the hard way! And it's a knockout! The three sight an attack and the Platypus Bears send the three remaining Tigerdillos to the tank! What an ending, folks! The Pinnacle Palace Platypus Bears secure their spot in the championship tournament with a round three-knockout on the Golden Temple Tigerdillos! Whoo-hoo! What a match, folks!

Firebending
Firebending is one of the four bending elements of the four nations and is practiced by the people of the Fire Nation.
It is the ability to create and control fire, drawing its power from the sun. It was first practiced by the sun warriors, after learning it from sacred dragons that once roamed the land.
Firebending is comprised of multiple rapid explosions of punches and kicks that generate bursts of fire. While the sun powers the art, the source comes from a benders internal body heat.
Advanved Firebenders are able to produce and manipulate lightning. It is an extremely powerful technique, and only achievable by Firebenders who have inner peace.
In Republic City's power originates int he form of lightning produced by Firebenders. At Power Plants, electricity is transformed, stored, and distributed throughout the city. It is a hard, thankless job for a Firebender, and pays little.
Banners: Air Nomads
The Air Nomads is one of the four nations. There are four air temples at each corner of the globe, all sitting atop mountain ranges.
The Air Nomads were the smallest of the four nations, but the most spiritual. They were all but wiped out by the Fire Nation, survived only by Aang, and now, his family. The Air Nomad national emblem is a swirling orb of wind. The last Avatar to represent Air was Avatar Aang.
Banners: Water Tribe
The Water Tribe is one of the four nations. It is made up of 2 polar regions, one Northern and one Southern.
The Water Tribe is not as powerful as the other nations as it has a much smaller population. The national emblem of the Water Tribe is a Southern Water Tribe.
Banners: Earth Kingdom
The Earth Kingdom is one of the four nations. It is the largest country in the Avatar world and consists of proud and peaceful people.
The national emblem of the Earth Kingdom is a green circle with a missing square in the center. The last Avatar to represent Earth was Avatar Kyoshi.
Banners: Fire Nation
The Fire Nation is one of the four nations. The continent is located in the western hemisphere and is made up of several islands.
The Fire Nation is the second-largest nation. Despite an era of imperialism, the Fire Nation has returned to sharing the idea of a peaceful world. The Fire Nation national emblem is a black flame that tapers to three points and is surrounded by red. The last Avatar to represent Fire was Avatar Roku.
"Lightning Bolt" Zolt
Male, 51, Firebender
"Ah, boo yourself."
One of the most notorious crime bosses in Republic City, Zolt was responsible for transforming the Triple Threat Triad from an ordinary triad into an organized crime syndicate, using fear and violence to extort shopkeepers, steal shipments, and blackmail public figures.
Triple Threat Triads
The Triple Threat Triads are a multi-bending Triad led by Lightning Bolt Zolt.
They work out of the back of a restaurant near Central City Station, and run illegal operations like extortion and theft. Downtown Republic City is considered their territory, however all the Triads are in a constant war for turf.
Bending Triads
As the center of commerce throughout the nations, Republic City quickly became a hotbed for triads.
Many of the triads recruit only one type of bender, such as the Firebending Agni Kais and the Waterbending Red Monsoons, fueling rivalries between different types of benders. The only exception is the Triple Threat Triads, since they are made up of Earth, Water, and Firebenders.
Downtown Republic City
From phonographs to fish jerky, Downtown Republic City is a cultural melting pot of shops and stands featuring goods from all the nations.

Pro-bending
In this popular spectator sport, two teams of three players face off in a ring perched high above a pool of water.
Each team has a Waterbender, a Firebender, and an Earthbender. The goal is to use bending to gain territory in the ring by pushing your opponent backwards, even knocking them off the back if possible. A team wins by a match by winning the most rounds, or performing a knockout.
Team names and mascots are selected from various hybrid animals in the Avatar Universe. Some of the most popular temas are the Rabarroos, the Boar-Q-Pines, the Wolf-bats, and the up and coming Fire Ferrets.
Every year, the sixteen best teams in the league compete for the championship in the elimination-style Pro-bending Tournament.
