Kol had parted ways with his family soon after their mother Esther failed to kill her children. Seperate from his siblings, Kol was alone during the initial outbreak and was forced to follow the crowds of civilians to designated Quarantine Zones. Kol lived amongst the short-term camps, feeding off of the civilians present before he compelled himself into the Military group responsible for the safety of those within the camp.
The coming months were chaotic at best, mass hysteria and the sheer number of Infected caused the destabilization of society as civilians began rioting and scavenging for supplies and weapons. Kol was able to maintain order within his camp using compulsion, the Militia and civilians alike more of a cult than a surviving group of individuals but as the months dragged by, Kol's boredom got the better of him.
Kol abandoned the camp, leaving the area to explore the remnants of society after the first bombs dropped.
Kol has worn many faces over the last two decades but has rarely remained in one place for too long. Over the last six months, Kol has called New Orleans home once more, setting up an opperation of Information Dealers within the Quarantine Zone. He currently resides in the Arts District, close to the French Quarter.
Given his history with the witches of the French Quarter, Kol has been allowed dealings with the locals but is yet to be allowed past it's barriers.
