That new art meme. Original by Scott Mcloud; under cut.
"Wow my online identity is old enough to vote" retrospective
Because holy shit y'all.
2008-2013; I stopped with the original format after the first 2 years (mostly because I got annoyed trying to match the art up myself and it was rather unwieldy). Combing back through my art history to find some of the cool pieces from these years is something of an ego boost - look how much I improved in just five years! That's pretty dang neat. You can find the other yearly progress reports from 2014 to 2025 [here]! (Or just click the tag ;D)

So above is original stuff - referenced, but not as heavily as the sprite redraws below.
These are sprite/card art redraws from F/GO and thus very heavily referenced. Grim uses Goredolf as a base, while Castoria and Aesc were used for the others. I'm more proud of the designs/clothing and especially the shading with these. It's been a while since I fully rendered anything, and my skill with it really upgraded. I blame XIV and the gpose engine for teaching me how to think about lights, shadows, and how to unify a piece using them.
I debated posting these because they are very, very heavily referenced, but I think there's enough unique to them to be worth posting - especially as a reminder that there's no shame in using something to learn from as long as you give credit where credit is due. You'd think I'd have learned that from my Homestuck days, but that's what you'd get for thinking.

Totally not a year late, hush. Art I'm still pretty damn proud of. The Knight in particular was heavily referenced from official FGO artwork. The Infant God of Worship/Handy Monster was a commission for @curiositykilledthehermit and I'm still ridiculously proud of how it turned out.
My art got a lot less prolific starting back in 2021, and it looks like I was too depressed to do the progress reports for the past couple years - so I'm doing them now, as a reminder that any progress is still progress. That's why some sketches are included here.

Definitely two years late, but late than never. I was working a dead end job with a lot of downtime, so I did a lot of traditional art and doodling. I still really like what I was doing with my digital lineart here, and you can very much see how the traditional art influenced it.

"Caster of Avalonia" - Also known as "baby Grim, if raised by 'Merlin'." Cute bean would like to commit a violence.
DnD Grim
Some personal work I've done for the fate fandom. Gwenddoleu is a servant for a fic who won't be showing up for a while. Ava belongs to @oddjobagency, with Hajime because, well, they're assholes.
Commission for @alainaochie of her OC Carl! This is a colored bust sketch, with added shading.
Poor Grim got his clothes swapped out while he was taking a bath. Tried some new things out with the eyes, not sure I like it. Do like how adding color to the skin went, though, and the freckles.
Infant God of Worship
Commission for @curiositykilledthehermit. This one was months of character design and was so much fun y'all. I'm super proud of this and not only did the campaign it was made for go well, there's now a mini? How cool is that?!
I got to try so many new things for this critter, and really stretch my understanding of anatomy, shading, and... drool. The drool especially was something entirely new, but so was depicting decay. Easily my favorite commission I've ever done, 10/10 would design monster again.
Borrowed a friend's OC to smooch my OC!
Alright darlin's, it's been a Hot Minute since I put out an ad, so here we go! I do sketchy headshots, as you can see, for $15-20. I can do your XIV muses, I can do skellingtons, hell, if you really wanna be extra I can even do ya some fantrolls. And, given I'm currently between jobs I'm opening up the full spectrum of commissions again, not just headshots!
Link to grab yourself some Tlu Done Art will be in the replies [or just take a look at my page]!

GUESS WHAT BABES
I'm right back to not having a job, and we're short on rent! There's currently one commission in the queue.
Two solid weekends of work, but my Liddol Guy is finally complete! He's so stinkin snuggly and soft y'all. Plushie pattern was made on the fly by me, but the robe pattern was adapted from [Ultima's Amaurotine Robe tutorial]. Whole project took less than a yard of fabric [less than half a yard each of the white flannel and black fleece] - the time sink was entirely down to me hand sewing the entire project. Super cute, super simple project.
He's about 15 inches tall, and stuffed lightly so he can move a little bit, but doesn't have any internal wiring or anything. Very cuddly liddol guy.
Liddol guy without the robes below the cut, just for funsies.
