If you think about it, every randomized check in Hollow Knight rando is just a cause+effect pair between user actions and game responses. If [you pick up a charm], the game will [add that charm to your inventory]. When [you hit this lever], the game will [open this gate]. When [you touch the jellyfish egg], the game will [summon an explosion]. If you see this action & response pattern anywhere, it can probably be added to a new rando connection. Like [you walk into a door] and the game [loads a new scene], or [you touch an ascended boss] and the game [removes 2 masks from your health]. There's way too much potential here, and nobody is asking the "can vs should" question.

Why does something as random as hair color actually give me a better understanding of being trans, I was not expecting this. I had just gotten a haircut and all of the dyed bits were gone and I mentioned to my partner that I just didn't look like me anymore, and they replied that that's how they feel every day. And then when I got it re-dyed a few days later everything felt right again, until my grandma wrote "brunette grandson" on a Christmas card and was discovered viciously murdered the next morning
