Can we talk about the Red Sorcerer scene in 1x07 please?
Because DAMN what a scene that was!
Jafar finds out Anastasia went behind his back, but he’s more amused than angry and she flirts with him about it. He only loses his temper when he finds out about Cyrus’s escape but he doesn’t turn around to lay the blame on Ana for it. He tries to command her men but she sharply cuts him off and firmly reminds him that they are not his to command and how does Jafar react? Does he snap back? Does threaten her? Does yell at her and try to thwart her? Nope. Jafar takes it without a single word of protest! He understands her desire to get more power in their game, he even admits that she might do just that. He accepts it. And then he reminds her why she needs him. Because he needs her. And he needs her to remember that they need each other.
And she just flirts with him some more.
This OTP is flawless and I can’t!
AND HE TAKES HER HAND, GUYS, HE TAKES HER HAND!!
Have you noticed how his touching of her changes after 1x02? He used to grab her by the throat when he wanted her to listen, and magically freeze her in her step when he wanted to stop her from walking away. But after she took her stand in the end of 1x02? In 1x03 when he touches her shoulder it is with utmost respect and admiration.
AND NOW WHEN HE WANTS HER TO STOP AND LISTEN HE TAKES HER HAND!
