Iteration vs AU:

An Iteration is a brand-new story created with new versions of the characters. An AU is a story built or deviating from an existing storyline. For example, Mutant Mayhem and ROTTMNT are iterations, while Like Father Like Son is an AU.

Rules:

No bullying or hate towards anyone. It will not be tolerated.

No fighting over ships. On that note, shipping the brothers with each other (tcest) will not be tolerated.

Please keep everything SFW.

Submissions are open! They close in two weeks (on April 14th). You can submit more than one iteration per person, but not repeat submissions!

If our work has the main characters(like the turtles and April) but the story is completely unique and most of the characters have been changed in significant ways, is that an AU or iteration? I'm really torn cuz I think mine could be both

if it's the same characters, but different versions of them (think Mutant mayhem Donnie vs ROTTMNT Donnie) in a new or altered story, I would consider that an Iteration. Thanks for the ask!

My world is build out of the original story but has OCs in it. Could you please help me to figure it out cause I think I'm too stupid...

Are we allowed to submit more than one iteration per person? I have two and I'm wondering if I can have both in the competition or if that would be unfair for people who only have one
