The wait is over! Here it is: the very first, 90-minute-long, episode of Taskmaster Portugal!

Many thanks for the European Portuguese Team, who volunteered to create the English subtitles for this show from scratch (RTP did not provide any Portuguese closed captions they could use as a starting point).

Our appreciation also goes to the amazing people on our Dictionary Corner that helped us proofreading the subtitles to English and provided context for the translation of words and sentences.

General Updates from the Project

Hello! It seems like finally the team is getting the Tumblr account moving on! Better late than never, am I right? So let's do a major update post to keep you guys posted on what's going on with our little project:

Taskmaster UK

First Series of Taskmaster UK fully translated into three languages: Polish, Brazilian Portuguese and German!

Taskmaster Portugal

Our first reverse translation project! Currently being translated to English by our European Portuguese Team with a bit of help of the Brazilian Team. (more on the admin side of things than translating, don't you worry my Europeans friends, no one is trying to take your spotlight 😜)

Both Vasco and Nuno are aware of the project and are being very supportive of the whole ordeal. But things could be quicker and smoother if RTP could provide closed captions. We also got a shout out on a Portuguese website! You can read it the article here.

Still in need of :

- Polish proofreaders. Preferably native and active. The translation is going well, but it needs more people to check the work of our amazing Polish Team Captain.

- French: native speakers primarily for translation.

- Spanish: native speakers for translation and proofreading
