Age of the changes /The first words of my book/ :)
(It’s not perfect I think, but this is the first step of a great dream. Have an enjoy with this! :) )
Henry stopped last time at the top of the hill on the lakeside before he left his home. For a few minutes he watched the landscape in front of him: the lake, the faraway houses of Keswick city and the earl’s castle in the valley which had high and pride towers. Not far from the castle stood a little house which once was his home. He didn’t go there for many years because this place aroused painful memories. But now when he stood before great changes, his eyes rested for long on this little stonehouse. He never left this countryside and he never intended to do this. Nevertheless he had to go now however his soul was full with fears. He hoped just one thing: after stepping into the world he could have part in more good than in the last nineteen years since he was born.He gathered his eyebrows when the wind blowed his freckled face and rumpled his ginger hair, then he followed the country road across the hills. He had just a few hours before the departure of his train, but before that he needed to say goodbye to two people. One of them, George McAdams at this moment was sitting and reading in the shadow of a chestnut tree when Henry behelded him and ran to him with smile on his face. George looked up when Henry was already in front of him and put his hands in the pockets of his patchy trousers.’I hoped that I don’t need to throw stones at your window again,’ said with a smile.’Henry! I’m glad,’ jumped up George while his book fell into the grass. He was very different to Henry. He was higher, two years older and he had more handsome face than Henry. His dark, wavy hair was always blowzy a bit. On the whole his look and his attitude reflected his gentility good. However he didn’t have strong form, Henry seemed thinner.George was the oldest child and heir of Lord Charles McAdams who was the earl of Kendal. But this young boy had given up his title when he decided to be a priest.
