THUNDERSTRUCK WEBTOON MAJOR SPOILERS!!!!!
okay so I’m rereading thunderstruck because it was so good I just had to or I’d go insane. I’m not usually very perceptive on the first read so sorry if this was really obvious but I believe that the 10th kinetic power is blood
More specifically, I believe that M can do this
I honestly am not sure how I didn’t notice on my first read, but I thought it’d be fun to just gather some evidence for this and explain how I think it might work!!
First of all, if you’re not familiar, the powers in Thunderstruck are made possible by blood, so with the knowledge that M gave Nim their powers, we can assume that with blood kinetic abilities, she may have found a way to combine different ischotypes into Nims blood.
A very obvious power here is that she’s able to quickly heal people, which I’m sure blood/flesh powers could do.
Furthermore, this ability goes as far as being able to resurrect the dead. I’d assume that this would be possible as she can trigger the heart to start pumping again.
What was specifically interesting to me though was that it looks like she’s able to sense Nims heartbeat quickening when they’re nervous about lying to her. If she was a blood kinetic, and she could sense blood in the same way that Nim can sense wind, it would allow her to feel the heart beats of those around her and therefore give her insight to whether or not they are anxious
And once again, Nim has not naturally gained these abilities and it’s confirmed that people were hurt in the making of them. Also, M killed Andromeda, one of the three dnas found in Nim, which could clearly show that M has some sort of blood powers
it could just be fantasy rules or even that she’s a smart scientist, but I wanted to yap about this amazing series!!! If you somehow read this whole thing without having read it I’d recommend checking it out on webtoon or tapas:
