I think the thing that bugs me most about the Kuei Jin and Kindred of the East is that VtM has a lot of Asia-specific bloodlines like the Danava Ventrue, Daitya Settites, Watcher Salubri, and even all the different kinds of Ravnos, just to name a few. Exploring how Vampire society would be different in places where those bloodlines are in the majority or replace other Clans that don’t really exist in Asia in large numbers could be a lot of fun. Instead we got a weird orientalist spin off based on anime and kung fu movies written by white people

Unironically one of the reasons I like the TMR is that they actually use some of the interesting bloodlines like the Danava, Salubri Watchers and Nagaraja
