To Athens and Back

Our travel plan: From Slovakia through Hungary to Croatia, then Bosnia and Montenegro, Albania to Athens, Greece. Then to Istanbul, Turkey and Bucharest, Romania and Budapest, Hungary back to Bratislava, Slovakia. Our mode of transportation: 2 door / '99 Peugeot 206 Our timeframe: 8 days starting Jan 19, 2013

Mosque and tram line in Istanbul. Chaotic city, but loved the atmosphere. Loud calls to prayer blasted on loud speakers from the myriad of mosques throughout the city.

After traveling 11 countries, 2 car break downs, 95 euros in tolls, and 2 continents we’ve completed our trip!

The impossible has been proved possible. We’ve made it back to Paul’s home in Slovakia!

Battled snowy roads to get out of western Turkey and eastern Bulgaria. Smooth sailing in Serbia right now. ETA in Bratislava is 8 pm.

We made it to Istanbul, but can we make it back to Bratislava? We'll find out. About to head back on what should be a 17 hour drive. It's been a crazy week.
