Check out my best friend Kate McCaffrey’s work on Anne Boleyn’s prayer book!! Very fitting that all of this was released on May 19.

I know the Telegraph article is locked behind a paywall unfortunately so here are two other articles:

She also (reluctantly) appears in the Daily Mail but I don’t want to give them any ad revenue. I’m sure you can Google it if you’re really curious. Kate was also appalled at the first draft of the article they’d sent her - they’d misquoted her, made stuff up and got basic information wrong (and apprently the guy interviewing her didn’t even know who Elizabeth I was???)

So, if you weren’t aware already, don’t ever trust the Daily Mail with anything.

I’ve managed to grab physical copies of The Times and The Telegraph so here are the articles:

The quality is a bit poor I’m afraid, but if you click on them it should be a bit better hopefully! Also if you open the images in a new tab you can zoom in a LOT more.

These two articles are much more in depth and there is a mention of Elizabeth! Kate deduced that since Elizabeth Hill (who owned the book after Anne) was Mary Hill’s mother and Mary was close with Elizabeth (she married Elizabeth’s tutor John Cheke/Cheek), it is possible that Mary might have told Elizabeth about the book or even shown her. It’s impossible to know for sure but it’s an intriguing possibility!

I’ve been really happy that AtLA has finally dropped on Netflix USA - I know a lot of people haven’t seen it before, and I’ve been watching it virtually with some friends who haven’t either. I hope yall can enjoy it! Please see if you haven’t already!

Apart from some episodes from season 1, I’ve only seen it once while it was airing on tv the first time all those years ago, but it had such an impact on my life! And on our culture and western animation especially. I’m pursuing animation now, actually :D For this one I really wanted to practice with acting and facial expressions, and I feel like I’ve learned a lot. I hope you like it ;u;
