Decided to get realistic.
Funding for Get Toboe to Närcon 2014
Not expecting anybody to help me out here, heh.. But my birthday is coming up, and the only thing i added to my wishlist was to go to Närcon, but recently my mom told me it won’t happen. There’s no money at all to get me there, and with it only being a week left until the con, there’s no way on earth i could get the money myself.
And this is one of the only chances i’ll get this year to really come out and meet people.
I’ve been sick at home for literally months now, and lost all my friends in the process. Getting my ass to Närcon would literally turn my life around in a millisecond.
So.. could you guys at least share this?
Even 1 dollar could help. I’ll be making my best effort here on my side to collect some kronor as well. Just, anything to heighten my chance of getting there.

I know it’s trendy to fight the system and cry that we are all becoming slaves of technology, but this attitude overlooks that computers and phones are tools for communicating. When someone thinks I’m an idiot smiling at a machine, I’m actually smiling at my girlfriend who is 10000 miles away and whom I would have never met if not for these newfangled electronics. As they say: when the wise man points to the moon, the fool looks at the finger.
This is a topic that I’ve been wanting to tackle for a while now; much credit to this excellent post for bringing it to the front of my brain.
