Hit a snag ... did a 10 mile interval run and ended up hurting my knee. After a little research i concluded that i have an IT band injury. Nothing major, just been training to hard, and didn't spend enough time building up to longer distances. Been focusing on strength training, massage and icing my knee. Feels better still going to run the 1/2 marathon, just a week later then i originally planed. Got some new training gear, goggles and nose plugs and such. Looking forward to the next few weeks, seeing how this recovery and strength training effect my skills.
