The cover for my next work, Tarja Titan: The First Renegade. Book I in my urban fantasy series entitled ‘The Renegades.’ Coming late-2020-early-2021.
If the books were wrestling brands Lord of Columbia is Raw and The Renegades is Smackdown. Tarja Titan's cover release proves that theory wrong. Like WWE, I put equal effort into each...
Alright, since a few of my readers loved the first SSL matchup featured here a few days back, I thought I'd do another in-depth follow up of SSL highlights since as stated in the previous post...
I miss sports so much I’m creating highlights from the fictional sport I invented in Lord of Columbia....
But one can also refer to Lord of Columbia as magical realism novels as well, which I'll explain in today's article. I also would like to fork out a little bit of history regarding my ultimate choice
Since COV-19 canceled sports for the foreseeable future, I decided that I'll share some highlights (and full games) from the fictional sport of shotball that appears in Lord of Columbia...
No, not computer-based fantasy sports! When I say fantasy sports home, I mean that since Lord of Columbia takes place in another world quite like our own
A group of college athletes who've banded together to battle an establishment that would've forced many unfortunate souls to die for Wall Street if this urban fantasy series took place in the real...
He's a thirty-year-old grocery store bagger feels alienated by society, feeling as if he's been given an unfair hand. Brock possesses Holden Caulfield character traits in terms of thought, speech...
Of course, I'm talking about Robin Hood, and I've seen many movies regarding the outlaw hero - sparking my own motivation to finally create a work that suits a different niche audience - one with...
My debut novel and actual series starter, Northern Knights - Episode I in the series, has also gotten a nice, little description makeover as well.
My LATEST description for Northern Knights.
Okay, so what's the difference between urban fantasy and the new adult urban fantasy genres? Really, the difference lays here -
She can control water, she's seventeen, she's locked in a psych ward, she's Raven Spade. ....and she just became Columbia's most wanted criminal.
She can control water, she's seventeen, she's locked in a psych ward, she's Raven Spade. ....and she just became Columbia's most wanted criminal.
I wanted to warn readers about martial law above all else - since one of my early themes in Northern Knights is well, dystopia. But not just to warn readers - but to motivate them to take action.
Martial law and the erosion of civil liberty is sweeping the country. As the great Ron Paul said, “Governments love crises because when the people are fearful they are more willing to give up freedoms for promises that the government will take care of them.”
Well, the day has come, and it was one of my primary motivators for writing Northern Knights - something I foresaw ages ago - today, it’s come true.
From My Work in Progress, Braden Hawk
She blinked tears from her eyes. “And I still do. Braden, this literally proves everything about their crookedness and corruption. Like—I feel so stupid for being such a skeptic once upon a time.”
Braden leaned closer to his phone. “Hey, Kira, look at me for a second.” She locked her hazel eyes in his yellow ones where the dark tunnels in her pupils served as the gateway to a wounded soul. “Not a single one of them will ever be able to use you as bait, alright? Neither myself nor the two guys behind me will ever let anyone hurt you like this again. Because we’re making this thing viral.”
“Braden.” She indicated Rome behind him as fierceness invaded her eyes. “Make sure he caught this entire conversation. I want you to upload this to every single social media platform you can.
Author’s Note: Keep in mind, this is just an edit of my second draft. Changes likely, even if the content matter remains.
Four action-packed books make up my Lord of Columbia Series, and the good news is the action is just beginning - especially when I unleash Book V PLUS the first three books in The Renegades
Four urban fantasies on sale now - Northern Knights - FREE! Swords of Destiny - 99 cents. Missing in Columbia - $2.99. Raven’s Flock - 99 cents (SALE PRICE). Four books for $4.97.
We've talked about urban fantasy, action and adventure, as well as sword and sorcery, but can Lord of Columbia be classified as military fantasy books?
The four classical elements of wind, water, earth, and fire play a key role in Lord of Columbia's and The Renegades' magical systems - but I also
New article explaining the magical systems in my Lord of Columbia Series plus my current WIP, The Renegades.
